Battery Life:
On average a fully charged battery will last around 4 hours but can be extended to up to 50+ hours on light saving
modes.
The ioLight battery usage is dependent on the settings of color, brightness, and animation. To check battery
status, simultaneously tap both buttons at the same time.
Refer to the app for a more accurate reading of battery levels.
To recharge plug micro USB into a power source, a red led will indicate charging, when that turns green your ioLight
is fully charged.
Recommended Use:
Do not expose your ioLight to extreme temperatures. You’re good from 0C - 45C. Do not use abrasive
products to clean your ioLight or accessories.
Do not expose your ioLight to fire, open flame, or extreme heat. The battery may explode! Charge battery
according to the instructions provided with the authorized cable.
Do not charge your battery when wet.
Important Information & Product Warnings:
Charge the ioLight fully before first use. To maintain the ioLight battery charge fully at least once a month.
ioLight is IP67 rated under normal use, do not subject it to high-pressure water jets or internationally submerge it in
water. In the unlikely event that moisture appears inside ioLight turn it off and contact our customer service for
guidance.
Clean ioLight with a moistened cloth and mild detergent only. Do not use corrosive, solvents or abrasive materials to
clean.

Keep it out of reach of children and pets. Lumenus ioLight is a very bright light, do not look directly at it or shine it
directly at others. Staring into a bright light can damage the eye.
Use the ioLight with care, inspect before each use for damage, corrosion or leaking. Turn it off and contact us for
guidance. Do not disassemble or dispose of in household waste.
Lumenus LLC does not warrant that the ioLight complies with all local traffic laws and regulations. Lumenus LLC
accepts no liability for any injuries or other damages arising from the use of this product in any circumstances.
“Warnings”:
Do not try to open the case or take your ioLight apart. Not only with these void your warranty, but they pose a safety
risk.
Your battery is rechargeable and cannot be replaced. Recycle or dispose of your battery properly. Visit
Lumenus.com/FAQ for how to recycle your battery.
Warranty:
Lumens LLC provides a warranty for the ioLight for 24 months from the original date of purchase by the original
owner (proof of purchase required). This warranty covers parts and workmanship on the LEDL housing, LED,
mounting brackets and strap, and electronics. But does not cover normal wear and tear, improper installation,
improper use, attempting to access the electronics, modifying the electronics, accidental damage, or damage or
failure due to neglect.
If you need to make a claim on the warranty, then return ioLight with your original receipt to the point of purchase. Do
not attempt to dismantle ioLight or to modify the electronics. Doing so will void this warranty.

Lumenus is a secondary safety device, we must emphasize that bicycling & other uses of the Lumenus product have
inherent risk, we seek to mitigate that risk -- but accept no responsibility for misuse or responsibility to the laws of the
country to which products are used or delivered.

we cannot control, for these reasons no user should ever rely on these to work perfectly in all scenarios and should

Mounting:
Using bike hex tool, screw the bolt through the clip to the device (crank it HARD as you can)
Wearable with your clip to any device
Mountable by inserting the Velcro strap (stripe up) through the openings. Then Clip the metal fastener into place. Finally,
tighten to adjust the fit of your ioLight to a helmet, bike post, or other.
Compatible:
We love collaborations! We work with some of your favorite brands to release products that are compatible with the
Lumenus light so you can attach to a collab helmet, bag, or accessories.
Look for “POWERED BY LUMENUS” tag on popular gear.
Modular:
The ¼-20 screw in the back of Lumenus allows us to release new accessories and mounts in the future. Many
products will have backward compatibility to work with your existing ioLight in new ways! Keep in touch with
@LumenusLife for future products.
Brake light:
This feature is specifically unique to Lumenus it can be adjusted in the mobile APP and turned on and off.
The brake light has automatic detection, but this brake light can be switched on as the #3 mode when scrolling through
manual tail lights. You know you hit this mode when the

To activate hold [L] button for 3 seconds and then tap [L] twice.This is based on accelerometer data and will not
always be perfectly accurate. This should not be relied on, and we suggest using hand-signals and any legal measure
in your local laws.
Latency and false positives should be expected. If brake light ever seems to have a flaw, turn on and off and on. When
turning back on do not move for 10 seconds to reset the accelerometer.
