Die Einbaulage ist bevorzugt horizontal. Eine Spindelneigung nach
rechts oder links um mehr als 45° ist nicht zu empfehlen.
Der Einbau muss von einem Fachmann durchgeführt werden. Lokale,
regionale sowie andere spezifische Einbauvorschriften sind unbedingt
zu beachten. Die Durchströmungsrichtung ist beliebig.
Die Armatur muss in jedem Fall so weit wie möglich und so komplett wie
möglich vor dem Einbau auf Leichtgängigkeit und Funktion geprüft
werden
Der Einbau muss mit geeigneten Hebezeugen sowie mit Hanfstricken,
die eine Beschädigung der Beschichtung verhindern, falls erforderlich,
erfolgen
Grundsätzlich sollte der PSA- BETINA®Typ HA 3 bis 4 x DN von allen
Einbauten entfernt installiert werden. Kürzere Einbauabstände können
infolge auftretender Turbulenzen, zum frühzeitigen Verschleiß des
Absperrkörpers führen.
Der PSA- BETINA®Typ HA muss kräfte- und momentfrei zwischen die
dafür vorgesehenen Rohrleitungsflansche bzw. Gewindemuffen
eingebaut werden. Die Armatur ist ausschließlich für Stahlrohre
konzipiert; andere Rohrmaterialien müssen von uns geprüft und
schriftlich akzeptiert werden
Der PSA-BETINA®Typ HA darf nur innerhalb seiner angegebenen
Temperaturgrenzen betrieben werden. der PSA-BETINA® Typ HA darf
nur für die vorgesehenen Medien eingesetzt werden. Beim Einsatz in
anderen Medien verliert die Gewährleistung ihre Gültigkeit bzw. der
Einsatz in andere Medien muss vorher von uns geprüft und schriftlich
bestätigt sein.
Wie jede Armatur muss auch der PSA Hausanschluss, nach der
Installation in die Rohrleitung, jedoch vor dem Befüllen der Leitung und
vor der Druckbeaufschlagung, unbedingt nochmals auf einwandfreie
Funktion geprüft werden.
Der PSA- BETINA®Typ HA unterliegt grundsätzliche keiner
kontinuierlichen Wartung, außer dass jeder Schieber mindestens einmal
im Jahr zu betätigen ist; innerhalb der Gewährleistungszeit ist darüber
Buch zu führen. Die bewegten Teile sind jedoch Verschleißteile und
müssen ggf. , je nach Betriebsbedingungen, von Zeit zu Zeit
ausgetauscht werden.
ACHTUNG ! Wird der PSA- BETINA®Typ HA erdverlegt, muss eine
geeignete Einbaugarnitur zur Betätigung installiert werden. Beim
Verfüllen ist darauf zu achten, dass keine Beschädigung der
Beschichtung durch Steine oder anderes Schüttgut entsteht. Wir
empfehlen den PSA-BETINA® Typ HA erst mit Sand zu verfüllen und
danach mit normalem Schüttgut. Zum Schutz der Spindel ist ein
Hülsrohr ggf. mit einer Teerbinde zu verwenden.
Der PSA- BETINA®Typ HA kann nicht anders als manuell ggf. über eine
Einbaugarnitur und einen Bedienschlüssel betätigt werden. Das
Bedienen mit einem Armaturenbediengerät ist nicht gestattet. Ist der
PSA-BETINA® Typ HA unter Flur montiert, so muss er vor dem
Verfüllen auf Funktion sowie auf Dichtheit nach außen und im
Durchgang geprüft werden.
Maximale Handradkräfte nach DIN 3230
Die maximale Kraft über Handrad oder Bedienschlüssel aufgebracht darf
bei DN 25-32 = 200 N und bei DN 40-50 = 250 N nicht übersteigen.

The installation must be executed by skilled personnel, only. Local,
regional as well as any specific regulation must be regarded. The flow

In any case prior to installation the valve must be check for
functionality and easy operationality
The installation must be executed with proper lifting devices as well as
hemp ropes in order to avoid damage to the coating, if needed.
In principle the PSA- BETINA®Type HA should be installed min. 3 – 4
x DN from any device. Shorter distances can cause premature
wearing to the wedge, due to turbulences.
The PSA- BETINA®must be installed between the pipe flanges resp.
threaded socket free of any forces or moments. It is designed solely
for steel pipes; other pipe material must be checked from and
approved by us in writing.
The PSA- BETINA®Type HA may only be operated within its
temperature limits. The PSA-BETINA® Type HA may only be operated
for the allowed fluids. If operated with other media the warrantee is
void, resp. it must be approved by us and confirmed in writing.
As any valve the PSA house connection must unconditionally again be
check for correct functionality prior to filling the pipe and pressurizing.
The PSA- BETINA®Type HA does not require continues maintenance
but must be operated once a year; within the warrantee period a log
has to be kept. However, the moving parts are wearing parts and must
be, based on the operating conditions, changed from time to time.
CAUTION ! If the PSA- BETINA®Type HA is underground, a proper
stem extension for the operation must be installed. When filling the pit
it must be observed that the coating is not damaged by stones or other
filling material. We recommend to fill the PSA- BETINA®Type HA with
sand first, and then with regular filling material. For protection if the
stem a protection tube must be used possibly with a tar band.
The PSA- BETINA®Typ HA cannot be operated other than manual
resp. by a stem extension and a T-key. The operation with a valve
operation device is not permitted. If the PSA- BETINA®Typ HA is
installed underground it must be functionally tested as well as for
thightness to the outside and the passage.

The maximum hand force may not exeed on DN 25-32 200 N and on
DN 40-50 250 N.
