If the airflow is still too low, the HEPA filter must be changed. To remove the HEPA filter, follow these
steps:
1.Loosen the eight screws one revolution
2.Rotate all eight clips out of the way.
3.Remove old filter.
4.Installing the new filter is the reverse of these instructions
Optional Activated Carbon/Potassium Permanganate Filters
Optional gas phase filters use a blend of activated carbon and potassium permanganate. This blend
removes the vast majority of gaseous contaminants encountered in most filtering applications. The
activated carbon removes the heavier volatile organics while the potassium permanganate removes
lower molecular weight contaminants. This is well suited to the smoke odors present after fire.
The life of the media blend depends upon both the hours used and the contamination level. Another
damage advantage of the blended media versus activated carbon only is that part of the blend
changes color as it loads up with contaminants. It starts out black, then turns pink, then brown, and
finally white .It is best changed when it passes the brown stage and begins to turn white. It has lost
most of its effectiveness at that point. The filter is the same size as the pleated fabric filter. Install it
in place of the pleated fabric filter.
Service
CAUTION: Servicing the PA-600-HAS with its high voltage circuitry presents a health hazard that
could result in death. serious bodily injury, and/or property damage. Disconnect the appliance from
the power supply before servicing. Only qualified service people should service this unit.
PURAERO'S WARRANTY POLICY:
1-Year Warranty
Subject to the conditions stated below. PURAERO offers a limited warranty on parts and labor on
the following equipment, parts and accessories to be free from defects in material and workmanship
for a period of one year to the original purchaser.
Wear items exempt from warranty consideration include but may not be limited to: power cords,
transport wheels, castors, handle grips, filters, screens. Subject to the conditions and exceptions
stated in this warranty. PURAERO warrants the PURAERO products to be free from defects in material
and workmanship. Under normal use and service. for the periods listed under the warranty policy to
the original purchaser. At any time during the warranty period, original owner will be liable for
transportation costs to repair facility. PURAERO will furnish replacement parts for the PURAERO
products to the original purchaser. Such parts will be fumished and charged including transportation
costs, to the original owner. Replacement parts that have become defective through wear or abuse
are not included in this warranty. This warranty does not apply to damage or defect caused by
accident, misuse, negligence, fire or to any PURAERO product which has been serviced or repaired
by other than an authorized PURAERO Service Distributor or PURAERO factory personnel.
This warranty is void if products are used for any purpose other than that which was intended.
There are no other warranties expressed or implied. In no event shall PURAERO be liable for
incidental or consequential damages or any damage to person or property.(Please note some
states do not allow the exclusion or limitations for incidental and consequential damages.)
