Please read all instructions

before using this product

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock

and injury to persons, including the following:

• To avoid fire or shock hazard, plug the appliance directly into the correct AC electrical outlet.

• Keep the cord out of heavy traffic areas. To avoid fire hazard, NEVER put the cord under rugs, near heat registers, radiator,

stoves or heaters.

• To protect against electrical hazards, DO NOT immerse in water or other liquids. Do not use near water.

• Children cannot recognize the hazards associated with the usage of electrical appliances. For this reason, always supervise children

when they are near the unit.

• Always unplug the air purifier before moving it, changing filters, accessing the aromatherapy port, cleaning or whenever the

air purifier is not in use. Be sure to pull by the plug and not the cord.

• NEVER drop or insert any object into any air vent openings.

• DO NOT run cord under carpeting.

• DO NOT cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings.

• DO NOT route cord under furniture or appliances. Avoid running the cord along areas where someone might trip over it.

• DO NOT operate the air purifier with a damaged cord or plug.

• DO NOT use outdoors.

• DO NOT place anything on top of the air purifier.

• DO NOT operate the air purifier without the filter installed.

• DO NOT operate the air purifier near heat sources, open flame or combustible vapors or gases.

• NEVER block the air openings or outlet on the unit.

• DO NOT place on a soft surface such as a bed or sofa, as this could cause the unit to tip over.

• This air purifier is intended for household use only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the

manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury to persons.

• DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this unit. Doing so will void your warranty.

The inside of the air purifier contains no user-serviceable parts. All servicing should be performed by qualified personnel only.

IMPORTANT This air purifier has a polarized

plug (one blade is wider than

the other). To reduce the risk

of electric shock, this plug is

intended to fit in a polarized

outlet only one way. If the plug

does not fit fully in the outlet,

reverse the plug. If it still does

not fit, contact a qualified

electrician.

The cylindrical shape of our Large Room Air Purifier means air comes in from all sides.

Carbon Pre-Filter

Air circulates through the Activated Carbon Pre-Filter to remove odors and trap larger allergens like dust and pollen.

True HEPA Filter

Our True HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) Filter removes 99.97% of particles in the air as small as 0.3 microns

(aka super-super tiny, way-too-small-to-see).

Optional Aromatherapy Feature

A few drops of The Pure Company 100% Pure Essential Oil on the aromatherapy pad softly scents your space all day.

Getting Started

SETTING UP YOUR LARGE ROOM AIR PURIFIER

When moving your air purifier, please always lift it firmly with two hands.

STEP 1: PLACE YOUR LARGE ROOM AIR PURIFIER

A. Choose a stable, level surface to place your Large Room Air Purifier.

STEP 2: REMOVE THE PROTECTIVE PLASTIC WRAP

A. Slide the lock at the base of the air purifier to the right to unlock; use both hands to lift off

the body. Set aside.

B. Remove the protective plastic wrap from the True HEPA Filter and Carbon Pre-Filter, and re-

insert the filters back into the base.

C. Place the body back on the base, and slide the lock at the base of the unit to the left to secure.

NOTE: We recommend replacing the aromatherapy pad every 5–10 uses or whenever you want to use a different essential oil. Pads should not be washed.

STEP 3: ADD AROMATHERAPY OPTIONAL

To use the aromatherapy feature:

A. Click open the aromatherapy port lid by pressing it one time. Remove the aromatherapy tray.

B. Remove the aromatherapy pad from the tray; place the aromatherapy pad on a paper towel and place 3–7 drops of The Pure Company

100% Pure Essential Oil on the pad. Be sure to place the paper towel on a safe, non-porous surface and avoid saturating the pad.

C. Place the aromatherapy pad back into the tray, insert the tray back into the port, and close the lid. When it clicks shut, it’s securely in place.

GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR USING 100% PURE ESSENTIAL OILS

Read and follow all label cautions and warnings:

• Keep out of reach of children and pets.

• Do not use on babies, children or pets.

• Keep away from flame, heat and ignition sources (essential oils are flammable).

• Do not apply undiluted (neat) essential oils directly onto skin.

• Do not ingest essential oils.

• Keep essential oils out of eyes, ears, nose, mouth and any body opening.

• Never assume an essential oil possesses the same properties as its plant.

• If you have sensitive skin, epilepsy, heart or kidney problems, or any serious medical condition, do not use

essential oils unless advised by a physician or medical professional that it is safe.

Press this button to turn your air purifier on and off.

NOTE: The base lock must be engaged for the air purifier to power on.

NOTE: Remove the clear protective cover from the power button.

Press this button to adjust the brightness of the air quality light ring and control panel lights.

When your air purifier is powered on, the air quality light ring and control panel lights are set

at Bright. Each single press of the button will advance you through the light level settings, as

follows:

1. Light Ring: Dim / Control Panel: Dim

2. Light Ring: OFF / Control Panel: Dim

3. Light Ring: OFF / Control Panel: OFF

4. Light Ring: Bright / Control Panel: Bright

The color of the air quality light ring lets you know which cleaning mode level your air

purifier is operating at:

• CLEAR: All clean! Your air purifier has identified that the air in the room is pure

and clear of particles.

• BLUE: Light cleaning mode

• PURPLE: Regular cleaning mode

• PINK: Super-cleaning mode. Your air purifier has identified a high particle count in

the room and is working hard to remove them.

Press this button to adjust the fan speed.

When your air purifier is powered on, the fan speed is set to Auto Mode. In Auto Mode the

fan will automatically adjust its speed to the room’s air quality.

1. LEVEL A: Auto Mode

Each single press of the button will advance you through the speed level settings, as follows:

4. LEVEL 3: Medium Fast

5. LEVEL 4: Fast

6. SLEEP MODE: Air purifier is set to Low and all lights turn off for 8 hours

TIMER BUTTON

After you set your preferred air speed, press this button to choose the cleaning cycle

length. Each single press of the button will advance you through the duration settings, as

follows:

1. 2 Hours

2. 4 Hours

3. 6 Hours

4. 8 Hours

5. 10 Hours

6. 12 Hours

The timer light will indicate how much time remains in the cycle, and the air purifier will

stop automatically when it completes its cycle.

FILTER LIGHT

The filter light will illuminate red when your True HEPA Filter needs to be

replaced. Depending on your room’s environment, the Carbon Pre-Filter

may need to be replaced more frequently. We recommend checking the

Carbon Pre-Filter every 30 days. When its initial black color appears gray

from dust and debris, it’s time to replace it.

Replacement filters, and video instructions for replacing them, are available

RESETTING THE FILTER REPLACEMENT NOTIFICATION

1. Press the Filter Light button for 3–5 seconds to reset the filter

replacement warning light.

NOTE: When the unit is not in use, switch the power to OFF and unplug

the unit. Depending on your air quality and how often you use your

air purifier, we recommend changing its HEPA Filter approximately

every 6 months.

Replacing The Filters

TO REPLACE THE CARBON PREFILTER

1. Unplug the air purifier.

2. The dual-filter is located near the base of the air purifier. To release the

base from the air purifier body, slide the lock on the side of the base to

the right and lift off the body of the air purifier.

3. The Activated Carbon Pre-Filter wraps around the True HEPA Filter and

is secured with a hook and loop closure. Set the base on a level surface,

and remove the Activated Carbon Pre-Filter.

4. Attach the new Activated Carbon Pre-Filter by wrapping it around the

HEPA Filter and securing it with its hook and loop closure.

5. Reattach the body of the air purifier to the base, and slide the lock on the

base to the left to secure.

TO REPLACE THE TRUE HEPA FILTER

1. Unplug the air purifier.

2. The dual-filter is located near the base of the air purifier. To release the base from the air

purifier body, slide the lock on the side of the base to the right and lift off the body of

the air purifier.

3. The Activated Carbon Pre-Filter wraps around the True HEPA Filter and is secured with

a hook and loop closure. Set the base on a level surface, and remove the Activated Carbon

Pre-Filter and True HEPA Filter.

4. If you are not replacing the Activated Carbon Pre-Filter at this time, set it aside on a clean

surface. Remove the protective cover from your new True HEPA Filter and insert the filter

into the base.

5. Reattach the Activated Carbon Pre-Filter, wrapping it around the new True HEPA Filter

and secure it with the hook and loop closure.

6. Reattach the body of the air purifier to the base, and slide the lock on the base to the

left to secure.

7. Plug the power core into an electrical outlet and turn on.

8. Press the FILTER LIGHT button for 3–5 seconds to reset the filter-replacement indicator.

WARNING! Disconnect power before changing filter.

WARNING! Do not operate the air purifier without the filter installed.

Cleaning & Maintaining Your Large Room Air Puriﬁer

The air puriﬁer should be cleaned at least once every month with a clean, dry, soft cloth. More frequent cleaning may be required depending on environmental conditions.

FILTERS:

1. The Carbon Pre-Filter is coated with carbon powder, so it should

not be washed.

2. The True HEPA Filter should be replaced when the filter light is red.

NOTE: For optimal performance, The Pure Company recommends that

you replace the True HEPA Filter at least once every 6–8 months

and the Activated Carbon Pre-Filter every 1–3 months, depending

on frequency of usage and environmental conditions.

WARNING! DO NOT stick any foreign objects or your fingers inside

of the unit

DO NOT use gasoline, benzene, thinner, harsh cleaners,

etc., on and/or in the unit while cleaning as they will

damage the product

NEVER use alcohol or other solvents to clean the Large

Room Air Purifier as it will remove the paint.

REPLACING THE AROMATHERAPY PADS

apply 3–7 drops of The Pure Company’s 100% Pure Essential Oil to the pad. Be sure to place the

paper towel on a safe, non-porous surface and avoid saturating the pad.

3. Place the Aromatherapy Pad back into the tray, insert the tray back into the port, press down to

click it into position, and close the lid. When it clicks shut, it’s securely in place.

NOTE: We recommend replacing the

Aromatherapy Pad every 5–10 uses

or whenever you want to use a different

essential oil. Pads should not be washed.

WHAT IS COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY

We warrant The Pure Company Large Room Air Purifier to the Customer, subject to the conditions below, against defects in workmanship or material, for the following time period: The Pure Company

Large Room Air Purifier (excluding the True HEPA Filter and the Activated Carbon Pre-Filter) for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.

INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS

This warranty is expressly conditioned upon proper installation, operation, cleaning, and maintenance, all in accordance with the Owner’s Manual. Failure to meet any of these requirements will void this

warranty. Servicing of your Pure Company Large Room Air Purifier by parties other than our authorized representatives and/or using parts other than genuine parts will also void this warranty.

HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE

Customer must contact The Pure Company Customer Care by calling 1-800-572-6228 or emailing support@thepurecompany.com and provide proof of purchase within the above time periods. We will

repair or replace and return the product, without charge and within a reasonable period of time, subject to the conditions herein, if our examination shall disclose any part to be defective in workmanship or

material. If we, in our discretion, are unable to repair the product after a reasonable number of attempts, we will provide either a refund of the purchase price or a replacement unit, at the company’s option.

We reserve the right to inspect and/or require conformation of installation method.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY

Not for commercial use. Ordinary wear and tear shall not be considered a defect in workmanship or material. These warranties do not apply for loss or damage caused by accident, fire, abuse, misuse,

improper installation, leaking, modification, misapplication, or bay any repairs other than those provided by our authorized Service Center. This warranty is non-transferable and does not cover consumable

items such as filters.
