System Configuration
Your New Vehicle Tracking device may be installed as a stand alone unit or may be connected to a host
alarm, alarm remote start or other arming device. This manual describes all the commands available for the
system but all may not be available in your application. Please consult your installation center or installing
dealer for controls and options available to you. Reading this entire manual will provide you the most com-
plete and up to date information about your system.
When installed with a host device, locking the vehicle doors with the keychain transmitter will arm the vehicle
tracking device. Unlocking the vehicle doors with the keychain transmitter will disarm the vehicle tracking de-
vice. If the keychain transmitter is lost or otherwise rendered inoperative, you must disarm the system by
manual override as specified in the owner’s manual. While the system is armed and the doors are locked, the
unit will log its position periodically checking that the vehicle has not been moved beyond the controlled area.
Whilearmed, ifthe vehiclealarm istriggered,the systemwill senda doorviolationor vehiclealarm triggeralert.

Ifthe vehicleisthen movedbeyond thecontrolledarea, relativetothe loggedposition, thesystemwill sendyou
a notification of unauthorized vehicle movement.
Your accountcanbe setfortelephone and/ore-mail notifications ifyou choose.Whenreceiving anyautomated
notification alert produced by the system, it will advise you of the specific event which has triggered the notifi-
cation massage. Upon receipt of the message, you may press one (1) to acknowledge the alert message or
two(2) torepeat it.Inthe eventthatupon inspectionyou determinethatthe vehiclehas beenremovedfrom the
area where it was parked, please contact (800) 705-8766 and select option (2) to ReportAStolen Vehicle.
WARNING: When the host alarm or keyless entry system is put into the Valet mode, the
PursuiTrak device is incapable of sending any notifications in the event of a door
violation or unauthorized vehicle movement. Be certain to exit the valet mode to
ensure that your vehicle is properly protected.

Account Activation
Your Car Dealer or Retailer from where you purchased the system may have already activated your account.
Please check with them to confirm that this has been completed.
Ifyour accounthas notbeen activated, youmust activateyour accounttobegin usingyour servicesandensure
theft recovery coverage. To do this, the Wireless Service Application must be completed, and the Service
Terms and Conditions agreement signed. It then must be faxed to 619-839-3780. Seaguard Electronics, LLC
providesthe Vehicle WirelessandMonitoring Services.They canbereachedat (800)705-8766.TheI.M.E.I and
a Temporary Pass Code (TPC) are located on theActivation form provided with your unit and will be required to
register the device.

The wallet card attached to the mirror hangtag is used to record your password. This wallet card will include the
phone number to call when you want to send commands to the vehicle. Print your chosen password on the
card and store it in your wallet or purse for easy access and reference. Your vehicle is also accessible for
command control via the internet as directed on page 9 of this manual.
Note: IT IS THE CUSTOMER’S RESPONSIBILITY TO CONFIRM THAT THEIR UNIT IS
REGISTERED WITH SEAGUARD ELECTRONICS, LLC FOR WIRELESS SERVICE TO EN-
SURE VEHICLE THEFT RECOVERY COVERAGE.

Wireless and Theft Recovery Service
Your systems operations are dependent upon the availability of a supported GSM Cellular Network.Avalid
Wireless Service Plan is required for your use of the services provided by the device, such as vehicle
tracking and vehicle command utilization. Seaguard Electronics, LLC can be reached at
1-800-705-8766.
Depending on the product and service level you purchased, “message credits” are billed to your account in
one of the following ways:
1. Credit Card
2. Electronic Check
3. Send check to Seaguard Electronics, LLC., P.O. Box 79546, Corona, California, 92877
Review more information by selecting the “Billing” page, then “Billing Method”
The wireless service application has a location for "Your account login". The default UserAccount information
is the First Initial of your first name and your complete last name. Your temporary password has six boxes that
may have been filled in by the dealer. If these boxes are left blank, the default password will be your 5 digit zip
code. Once the tracking device has been activated, you can change the password by logging into the web site
(www.pursuitrak.net) and clicking on "Account". You then type the new password in the box above the word
"Password ". Retype the new password a second time in the box above the word "Re-Enter" In order for the
change to be effective, the box at the bottom of the page "Save& Continue" must be clicked.

Understanding Command Use and Message Credits
The sending of any vehicle command incurs the use of one (1) message credit. A message credit is de-
ducted from your account each time the system receives a response from your vehicle which indicates the
successful reception by the vehicle of the sent command.
Alarm commands are defined as:
• Locate vehicle
• Arm system/Lock doors/Geofence on
• Disarm system/Unlock doors/Geofence off
• Remote engine start
• Unlockonly
• StarterInterrupt
• Theft reset
In event that the vehicle fails to receive any sent command, the system does not deduct from your account.
Note: The remaining message credit balance on your account is displayed in the center navigation frame
on each of the system’s command menus under the column labeled “Credits”.
Vehicle commands are defined as:
a. Auto Report On/Off
b. SpeedAlert On/Off
c. Geo-fences On/Off
d. Low BatteryAlert On/Off
e. Trip Start, Trip End or Stationary Vehicle Mes-
sage
f. Any Alarm or other System related wireless
message sent or received.

Account Login
To login to your account via the Internet, use these steps:
1. Type the URL www.Pursuitrak.net in the address line of your Internet browser.
2. Type your unique User Name (First Initial and Last Name) into the UserAccount login field.
3. Enter your unique Password into the Password field.
4. Click the MyAccount Login submit button.
5. If you have entered the correct UserAccount and Password information, you will be automatically
redirected to your vehicle home page.
Account: Account Information - Contact information, login password, time zone settings, home
phone number, are all found on this page. To make a change to any of these, after selec-
tion is made, the Save and Continue button located at the bottom of the page must be
clicked.
Billing: Accounting - displays the billing history for each selected vehicle.
Purchase Plans -
Billing Method - Credit card or Electronic check.
Vehicles: Edit Vehicle
Vehicle information - enter your vehicle description information here.
Notification information - enter your event notification information here.
Emergency numbers - enter your emergency contact numbers.
Service Plans:
Current service - displays current service plan.
Available service plans - displays list of available service plans to choose.

Tracking
The following commands are available on the tracking page:
Note: Each time a wireless command is sent and acted upon by the vehicle such as LOCATE, REMOTE
ENGINE START,ARM, or DISARM, one (1) message credit will be withdrawn from yourAccount Bal-
ance.
•Locate - Clicking the icon will process a remote wireless command instruction to the installed unit. A
genericaerial viewphotowill appearstating “NowLocating(the vehicledescriptionyou supplied)Please
Standby”. The locating process may take up to 3 minutes. The image will then change to a map display
ing a car icon identifying the spot from which the vehicle has reported its position.
•Aerial View - Onceyou havelocated your vehicle,you canviewa virtualSatellite photoofthe locationof
your vehicle. (You will not be charged an additional message unit.) The map may additionally be panned
by holding down the left mouse button and “dragging” it to the desired position.
•Zoom - There are 7 map zoom levels from which to choose.

Schedules
Scheduling Feature:
The automatic command scheduling tool may be used to program up to ten (10) unique command actions
to be sent to your vehicle on an unattended automated reoccurring basis.Available commands will be
determined based upon the actual features and functions installed in your vehicle.

Note: All times are related to the Pacific Time Zone; for example:

Note: It is important to remember that any Scheduled commands will continue until such time as you
disable them. All commands sent via the automated Scheduling tool will incur the same mes-
sage credit utilization as the same command sent manually.Access to the automated schedul-
ing tool is only available via the product’s internet website.

Commands Page
The commands page allows you to send a number of control commands to your vehicle. To use any of the
configured alarm commands, simply click on the Alarm Commands button and then click Activate/Deactivate
on your desired command. It may take up to 3 minutes to receive a command confirmation, since the Alarm
Command message has to broadcast over the wireless network and then send back an acknowledgment.
Please be patient.
Here is a description of the available control services:
•Arm System/Lock Doors/Geofence On - Clicking this command performs the described action and
does not require any additional steps.
•Disarm System/Unlock Doors/Geofence Off - Clicking this command performs the described ac-
tion and does not require any additional steps.
•Activate Remote Engine Start - Clicking this command will activate the remote engine starter and
does not require any additional steps.
•Theft Reset - Clicking this command stops theft track and arms the alarm and tracking unit. The alarm
must be disarmed in order to start the vehicle.
•Unlock Only - Clicking this command will send a door unlock only command.
•Starter Interrupt - Clicking this command will either activate or deactivate Starter Interrupt.
Note: 1. Each time you perform one of these commands, one (1) message credit will be withdrawn from
your account balance.
2. To receivealarmnotifications andtoactivateremote enginestart,yourvehicle mustbeequipped
with an alarm system that provides these features.

System Settings
Auto Report Interval - Adjusts the time between vehicle location reports. You can select none to 24
hours. When you select none, the auto report will record the trip start, stationary vehicle (when vehicle
stops) andthen end of trip (10 minutes after the vehicle has become stationary).
Auto Report Duration - Adjusts the length of time theAuto Report will function. The adjustment is from 1
hour to forever. TheAuto report time duration begins when the "Auto Report" command is activated in the
System Commands page.
Excessive Speed Alert - Adjusts the vehicles speed notification . The adjustment is from 50 to 120 MPH.
Geo Fence - Adjusts the trigger radius around the vehicle for Inside and Outside Geo Fence notification.
The adjustments are ½ mile to 500 miles.
Low battery Alert - Adjusts the battery voltage threshold for Low battery notification. The adjustment is
10-12.25volts.
Remote Diagnostics - Displays the system current status.
System Commands
The System Command page allows you to send a number of system control commands to your PursuiTrak
GPS System installed in your vehicle. To use any of these commands, simply click on the System Com-
mands button and then click on your desired command. It may take up to 3 minutes for a command confirma-
tion, since the GPS Command message has to broadcast over the wireless network and then send back an
acknowledgment. Please be patient.

Here is a description of the available System Commands:
• Auto Report Activate - Clicking this command performs the described action utilizing the feature
parameters stored under the System Settings Menu item.
•Auto Report Deactivate- Clicking this command turns Auto Report off.
•Excessive Speed Alert Activate - Clicking this command performs the described action utilizing the
feature parameters stored under the System Settings Menu item.
•Excessive Speed Alert Deactivate - Clicking this command turns Excessive Speed Alert off.
•Geofence Activate - Clicking this command performs the described action utilizing the feature
parameters stored under the System Settings Menu item.
•Geofence Deactivate - Clicking this command turns Geo Fence notification off.
.•Low Battery Activate - Clicking this command performs the described action utilizing the feature
parameters stored under the System Settings Menu item.
.•Low Battery Deactivate - Clicking this command turns Low Battery notification off.
.•Alarm Command Panel - Clicking this command links the home page to theAlarm Commands control
page.

Vehicle History
Displays the selected vehicle’s event history . You can view history of alarm notifications, tracking, or com-
mands from the past hour to the history of activation. You can specify a particular date range with the use of
the calendar.After entering the range, you will need to click the refresh button on the screen.
Every sent vehicle command will create an event ID number which will capture the date and the time it was
sent. The event confirmation will always include the address of where the vehicle was during this transac-
tion.
By clicking on the word display under the Map Heading, you will view where the vehicle was located when
you requested this event. (You will not be charged any message credits to view this information.)
By clicking the MAPALL feature button, the internet web page will automatically display up to 100 positions,
with the oldest location being number 1 and numerically sequenced on the map.

Vehicle Command Center Telephone Interface
The telephone interface Interactive Voice Response System (VPI) allows you to send remote control com-
mands to your vehicle over the telephone utilizing its touch tone keys.
These actions include*:
1. Arm/Lock 6. SpeedAlert Off
2. Disarm/Unlock 7. Geo Fence On
3. Remote Engine Start 8. Geo Fence Off
4. SpeedAlert On 0. Theft Reset
5. Vehicle’s Location
*Note: Your vehicle must be capable of performing these features.
In order to access the tracking device via the telephone, the Home phone number that is filled in on the
Wireless Service Application must be entered. The password will be the same one that is set for the website.

Login and Menu
To use the Vehicle Command Center telephone interface:
1. Call1-800-705-8766
2. Press 1 for vehicle commands
Press 2 to report a stolen vehicle
Press 3 for customer service
Press 4 for dealer services
Press 5 to repeat options
3. Press 1 to send vehicle commands
4. Please enter your home area code and phone number now.
5. Please enter your account password followed by the # sign.
Once you have entered the system, you will be prompted with a menu of available services.After you select
a command, it may take 1 to 3 minutes for a control confirmation since the control message has to broad-
cast over the wireless network and send back an acknowledgment. Please be patient.

Automated Alert Notification System
Event Notification: You must have an active service plan with message credits in order to receive auto-
mated event notification. You will be notified via e-mail when your account is below 1 credit.
When called with an alert by the automated notification system, you can:
•Press 1 to acknowledge the alert
•Press 2 to repeat the alert
Note: You must press 1 to confirm with the system that you have received this notification
or the system will retry the primary contact number 1 additional time.

Ifthevehicle hasbeenstolen andthetracking unitwasinstalledwithahostalarm oralarm/remote
start,thealarm willenterthe theftmode.While inthismode, thevehiclelights andhorn/sirenwill
soundaspecializedS.O.S.pattern (3shortflashesandchirps,followedby 3longflashesandchirps,
followedby3 shortflashesandchirps...). Inaddition,the starterinhibitfeature isactivated. This
preventsrestartingof thevehicleonce theignitionhas beenturnedoff. Thetransmitterwill notoper-
ate.Themanual overridewillnotdisarm thismode.The only waytoreset thisfunctionisto senda
"Theftreset"commandviathe phoneorInternet.
