find a place to keep it handy for future reference.
For your convenience, record the complete model number (located on the product identification plate) and the
date you received the product together with your purchase receipt, and attach to the warranty and service
information. Retain in the event that warranty service is required.
NOTE: The rating of this product (as marked on the product identification plate) is based on specific loading
tests. Normal use or the use of other recommended attachments may draw significantly less power.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using any electrically powered product, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE PRODUCT.
WARNING - to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock or injury to persons or property:
•Carefully read all instructions before operating your new product for the first time and keep handy for future
reference.
•Remove and safely discard any packaging material and promotional labels before using the product for the
first time.
•Always operate the product from a power source of the same voltage, frequency and rating as indicated on
the product identification plate.
•All the safety and operating instructions should be retained for future reference.
•All warnings and cautions on the appliance and in the operating instructions should be adhered to.
•Close supervision is necessary when the product is used by or near children or invalids. Do not allow
children to use it as a toy.
•Do not operate any product with a damaged cord or plug, or after the product malfunctions, or is dropped or
appears damaged in any way. Return the complete product to the place of purchase for inspection, repair or
replacement.
•Always use the appliance on a secure, dry level surface.
•Do not attempt to remove any parts of the housing nor insert any metal objects into the interior of the
appliance.
•Do not twist, kink or wrap the power cord around the appliance, as this may cause the insulation to weaken
and split particularly where it enters the unit.
•Do not operate product with damp or wet hands.
•To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not immerse or expose the product controls or flexible cord to rain,
moisture or any liquid other than those necessary for correct operation of the product.
•This product should not be used in the immediate vicinity of water, such as bathtub, vases, washbowls,
basins or other vessels containing liquids where the likelihood of immersion or splashing could occur.
•Never place or operate the unit where any part of it could come into contact with any hot surface and must
be situated away from heat sources (such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, gas or electric hot plate,
heated oven, or other appliances [including amplifiers] that produce heat).
•Switch off, unplug from outlet and remove the batteries when not in use, before assembling or disassembling
parts and before cleaning. Remove by grasping the plug - do not pull on the cord.
•Unplug this product from the wall outlet and remove the batteries before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners,
aerosol cleaners or solvents such as benzene or strong chemical cleaners, since this could damage the
finish of the unit. Use a damp cloth for cleaning.
•Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use.
•The appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
- By clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments.
- Farm houses
- Bed & breakfast type of environments.

•Do not use this appliance outdoors.
•Do not let the cord hang over the sharp corners or edges of a bench, table or to touch hot surfaces.
•This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
•Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Close supervision is
necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
•The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control
system.
•The appliance should be situated so that its location or position does not interfere with its proper ventilation.
For example, the appliance should not be situated on a bed, sofa, rug or similar surface that may block the
ventilation openings, or placed in a built-in-installation, such as a bookcase or cabinet, that may impede the
flow of air through the ventilation openings.
•WARNING: Only use attachments/ accessories specified or provided by the manufacturer (such as the
exclusive supply adapter, battery etc).
•WARNING: Please refer the information on exterior bottom enclosure for electrical and safety information
before installing or operating the appliance.
•WARNING: The batteries (battery pack or batteries installed) shall not be exposed to excessive heat such
as sunshine, fire or the like.
•WARNING: The mains plug is used as disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily
operable.
•When not in use and during movement, please take care of the power cord e.g. tie up the power cord with
cable tie or something like that. It shall be free from sharp edges and the like that can cause abrasion of the
power cord.
•No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on or near the appliance.
•This equipment is a Class II or double insulated electrical appliance. It has been designed in such a
way that it does not require a safety connection to electrical earth.
•For added protection for this product during a lighting storm, or when it is left unattended and unused for
long periods of time, unplug it from the wall outlet and disconnect the antenna or cable system. This will
prevent damage to the product due to lighting and power-line surges.
•Do not overload wall outlets, extension cords, or integral convenience receptacles as this can result in a risk
of fire or electric shock.
•The installation of a residual current device (safety switch) is recommended to provide additional safety
protection when using electrical appliances. It is advisable that a safety switch with a rated residual operating
current not exceeding 30mA be installed in the electrical circuit supplying the appliance. See your electrician
for professional advice.

WARNINGS RELATING TO THE USE OF BATTERIES
•Batteries must be inserted taking care to match the polarities shown. Make sure that the (+) and (-) terminals
are placed in the right direction.
•Never use batteries that show signs of electrolyte leaks or cracking.
•Never dispose of used batteries in an open fire.
•Keep batteries out of reach of children.
•Never recharge disposable batteries.
•Never shot circuit battery terminals.
•Do not try to open the batteries.
•Do not mix up different kind of batteries or new and already used batteries together.
•Only use batteries of the recommended or equivalent type.
•Remove batteries from the appliance before disposing of it at the end of its service life.
•When replacing used batteries, please comply with applicable regulation relating to their disposal.
•Please return them to a suitable collection facility for environmentally friendly disposal.

The normal function of the product may be disturbed by strong electro magnetic interference. If so, simply reset
the product to resume normal operation by following the instruction manual. In case the function could not
resume, please use the product in other location.
CONNECTING THE RADIO
Plug the AC Cord into the power outlet. When electrical power has been interrupted and restore, the clock
display will blink. Make sure to reset both the correct time and alarm for proper operation.
BATTERY BACKUP
This clock has a backup power system to ensure continuous operation during power failure. A 9 Volt battery (not
included) is required. It is recommended that the set be disconnected from the mains supply while the battery is
fitted. You must put in a battery to ensure the battery backup feature is ready in case of power failure. If power
fails, the back up battery will automatically continue operation of the clock and maintain actual time. However,
the display will not be lit. During actual power failure the alarm function will not be operational. When electrical

power is restored, the display will light up again and alarm time set previously is restored. The battery will
maintain timekeeping for approximately 8 hours during power failure or interruption.
•The unit can also be operated by batteries during power failure.
•1 x 9 Volt batteries required (not included).
•Flat batteries should be removed from compartment to avoid leakage.
•Batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or like.
•Replace the old batteries with new ones when the sound becomes unstable or cannot be heard.
NOTE: Remove the battery if the unit is to be unplugged for a long period of time, avoiding unnecessary battery
drain.
TIME SETTING
Press and hold the time “SET/ PRE/ M+” (4), then the clock display (8) will blink. Press the “HOUR/ TU-”(2),
“MIN/ TU+” (3) or to set the hour and min of the clock display respectively to the correct time. Press “SET/ PRE/
M+” (4) again when finished the setting, the time display will not blink.
NOTE: PM is indicated by light on “PM” in the display.
DIMMER HI/ LOW
On time display mode, press “DIMMER HI/ LOW” (7) to set hi or low of the LED display.
RADIO OPERATION
Press “AM/ FM/ ON/ OFF” (1) once, it will turn on the radio, press “AM/ FM/ ON/ OFF” (1) again to select AM
band or FM band. Press “MIN/ TU+” (3) or “HOUR/ TU-“ (2) to adjust your desired frequency. Press “AL 2/
VOL+” (6) to increase the volume, press “AL 1/ VOL-”(5) to decrease the volume.

AM 522 –1620 KHz

MEMORY OPERATION
This clock radio can store 10AM and 10FM pre-sets. On radio playing mode, select your desired band (AM/FM)
press up “MIN/ TU+” (3) or “HOUR/ TU-”(2) to choose your desired frequency, hold down and press “SET/ PRE/
M+” (4) to enter into the pre-set mode. The pre-set number will show and flash on the LED Display (8), then
short press “HOUR/ TU-“ (2) or “MIN/ TU+” (3) to select your desired memory numbers from P1 to P10. Press
the “SET/ PRE/ M+” (4) to confirm your memory setting. Repeat the above steps, you can store your desired

stations. After selecting the desired setting, press “SET/ PRE/ M+” (4) to select your pre-set frequency to enjoy
radio broadcasting. Hold down amd press the “AM/ FM/ ON/ OFF” (1) to turn off the radio.
ALARM FUNCTION
SETTING ALARM 1 BY BUZZER
In clock display mode, press “AL 1/ VOL-”(5) button once to select alarm by buzzer, the “BUZZER AL1” icon will
light up and alarm time display will flash. Using “HOUR/ TU-”(2) or “MIN/ TU+” (3) to set your desired alarm
hour.
SETTING ALARM 2 BY BUZZER
In clock display mode, press “AL 2/ VOL+” (6) button once to select alarm by buzzer, the “BUZZER AL2” icon will
light up and alarm time display will flash. Using “HOUR/ TU-”(2) or “MIN/ TU+” (3) to set your desired alarm
hour.
SETTING ALARM 1 BY RADIO
In clock display mode, press “AL 1/ VOL-” (5) button twice to select alarm by radio, the “RADIO AL1” icon will
light up and alarm time display will flash. Using “HOUR/ TU-”(2) or “MIN/ TU+” (3) to set your desired alarm
hour.
SETTING ALARM 2 BY RADIO
In clock display mode, press “AL 2/ VOL+” (6) button twice to select alarm by radio, the “RADIO AL2” icon will
light up and alarm time display will flash. Using “HOUR/ TU-”(2) or “MIN/ TU+” (3) to set your desired alarm
hour.
SLEEP FUNCTION
If you want to listen to the radio while falling asleep, you can use the sleep function by setting the sleep time.
With the radio on, press the “SLEEP / SNOOZE” (7) button to enter into sleep mode, the 90 no. shows on the
LED Display (8). It states 90-MINUTES- of sleep time and must be set in sequence 90-80-70-60-50-40-30-20-
10-OFF. Press the “SLEEP/ SNOOZE” (7) button to choose your desired sleep time, the sleep timer will change
by 10 minutes each time you press the “SLEEP” (7) button. The radio will stop playing when the timer
countdowns from the pre-set sleep time to the end and then switch off by itself.
SNOOZE FUNCTION
On alarm sound mode, press “AM/ FM/ ON/ OFF” (1) to stop the alarm, the alarm will not resume. But if you
press the “SLEEP/ SNOOZE” (7) button to stop the alarm, the “AL” icon of the LED display (8) will blink, and the
alarm will resume after 9 minutes.
CLEANING AND STORING
•Always unplug the unit from the wall outlet and remove the backup battery first before cleaning.
•Clean the unit, panel and controls with a slightly damp soft cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners, aerosol
cleaners, solvents such as benzene or strong chemical cleaners, since this could damage the finish of
the unit.

•NOTE: Remove the battery if the unit is to be unplugged for a long period of time, avoiding unnecessary
battery drain.
•NOTE: Never immerse the unit in water or any other liquid.
