3. Development environment settings
Install the development environment “Qview” from the CD or from the website: www.qem.it.
From the directory “Qview” execute the file.
The installation of Qview 5 is a standard for Windows operating system.
Start “Qview 5”
and select “Options – Program setup...”.
Select in “Communications” the number of the
COM (from 1 to 16) associated to the US
port of the PC.
N. .To know the name assigned by the PC to
the port go to the contro pane and verify in
“periphera management” the port number
associated to the interface.
It is now possible to open the serial
communication between the PC and the
Qmove system. Press the key on the toolbar
indicated by the arrow in the picture
(open/close communication).
Check the communication status in the status
bar indicated by the arrow.
N. . The same operations could be done from the development environment Qpaint5.
