Introduction
The QL KeyFob alerts your Smartphone/Tablet if you are
separated from your house/car keys/bag or your pet, via the
supporting QL-Find app. The range is extendable from 5 metres
up to 20 metres and use the last seen location service or near/far
gauge to locate your valuables.
QL KeyFob also has a built-in ‘FindMe’‚ alert button that will
assist if you have misplaced your Smartphone/Tablet within a
50 metre range. QL KeyFob is also rechargeable so no need to
worry about trying to source replacement batteries!
The QL-Find is the in-app technology behind Wootch, KeyFob
and Kard, a range of security products designed to prevent you
from losing or misplacing your most valued items/possessions.
QL-Find technology, in conjunction with Bluetooth Smart, has
assisted us with the creation of revolutionary Smartphone/Tablet

Step by step set up guide
1. Download and install the free QL-Find app from iTunes or
Google Play. Open the QL-Find app and follow instructions.
2. Switch on your Bluetooth connection on your compatible
Smartphone/Tablet.
3. Press and hold the button on KeyFob for 2 seconds, LED will
󰘱ash green to show KeyFob is now ON.
4. Open QL-Find app. Press in top right corner to 󰘰nd new
devices
5. The KeyFob will be found (usually will take just a few seconds,
but may take up to 30 seconds). Select the KeyFob to begin
pairing.
6. When the app distance meter moves, the KeyFob LED will
start to 󰘱ash orange. Press the KeyFob button to accept the
pairing. If the KeyFob button is not pressed it will disconnect
from the app after 10 seconds.
7. Once KeyFob has accepted the pairing, press Save.
8. The pairing is complete.
9. Use the range slider to adjust the proximity range you are
comfortable with (between 5-20 metres).
10. Turn on ‘Device Lock’. This prevents the KeyFob from being
turned o󰘯 without your permission.
QL-Find Crowd Source Tracking
Coming 2014
Our team are in the process of working on an exciting new
tracking system called QL-Find Crowd Source Tracking. If your
KeyFob loses its Bluetooth connection, it will automatically get
picked up by other QL-Find users in the same area, our server
will automatically send you an update location that can be
viewed on your Smartphone/Tablet map. This is an opt-in service
only. The QL-Find app will notify you when this new, exciting
service is available.

How long does it take to recharge my
KeyFob?
Approx. 2hrs.
How long will the battery last?
Approx. six weeks, based on continuous usage 24 hours a day.
Can I control more than one KeyFob using the
QL-Find App?
Yes, you can control up to ten QL-Find products dependent on
your Smartphone/Tablet.
iPhone 4S/5/5S/5C, iPad 3/4/Mini, iPod Touch 5th gen. = 10
QL-Find products running simultaneously.
Samsung Galaxy S4/S4 Mini, S3/S3 Mini = 1 QL-Find product
running simultaneously.
Can anyone turn o󰘯 my KeyFob without me
knowing?
No, if you have switched on ‘Device Lock’ within the QL-Find app.
Does KeyFob work indoors as well as
outdoors?
Yes it does.
Is the range a󰘯ected if I am in another room to
the KeyFob?
The range will be reduced by physical objects that are between
the KeyFob and your Smartphone/Tablet.
How do I reset my KeyFob?
Using a small pin, insert into the reset hole until the reset button
has been pressed.
What is the maximum range of KeyFob?
The maximum range for the proximity alert is 20 metres. The
maximum range for the ‘FindMe’ alert is 50 metres.
Where do I download the QL-Find app?
You can the download the QL-Find app for free via iTunes or
Google Play.
Is KeyFob compatible with all Bluetooth
Smartphones/Tablets?
KeyFob is compatible with selected Smartphone/Tablets using
Bluetooth 4.0. For a list of all compatible handsets, please visit

Can I use KeyFob on an aeroplane?
Not at present.
Will KeyFob a󰘯ect the battery life on my
Smartphone/Tablet?
Battery drain will be minimal as we are using Bluetooth Low
Energy.
What can KeyFob be attached to?
KeyFob can be attached to anything you like, such as, house/car
keys, purse, Laptop/ Tablet bags, luggage, pets and much more.
Will KeyFob trigger an alarm even when my
phone is on silent/vibrate?
Not at present.

Warranty
QL-Find products include a 12 month warranty from the date of
purchase. You will need to retain your original proof of purchase
as this will be required for all warranty claims. Your warranty is
only valid in the country which the product was purchased.
