THANK YOU
Congratulations on your purchase of the versatile QUILO® AVIANCE™. With 4 functions
in 1 device, AVIANCE™ helps to provide comfort all year long:
NOTE
When the product is used for the first time the Honeycomb Cooling Media will have an
odor which will dissipate in a few hours or so of initial use.
USER TIPS
Air purifier – Removes up to 99.5% of airborne particles up to 0.3 microns. Helps minimize
the spread of allergens and bacteria in the air, such as pollen, smog, and viruses
Fan - Circulates the room air and provides ventilation.
Evaporative Cooler - Transforms warm, dry air into moist, cool air during warmer months.
See below for a detailed description of evaporative cooling.
Humidifier - Helps counteract static air and irritating drynessduring autumns and winters.
QUILO® AVIANCE™ Evaporative Cooler is built to maximize energy efficiency and keep
energy costs low. Warm air is drawn into the cooler and enters the Honeycomb Cooling
Media. Water pumped from the water tank pours over the Honeycomb Cooling Media.
As the warm air passes through the Honeycomb Cooling Media, the water absorbs the
heat, naturally cooling and humidifying the air. A fan propels the cooled air out intothe
room. This no-compressor system cools naturally, efficiently, and inexpensively.
The recommended maximum relative humidity level is 60% or less, which allows a
noticeable temperature decrease. The temperature will be lower in drier climates
because higher evaporation occurs when the humidity is low.

SAFETY RULES
WARNING — READ AND SAVE THE QE2RIVKS USER MANUAL
The QUILO® AVIANCE™ User Manual is intended to provide important information
needed to set up, operate, maintain and troubleshoot your QUILO® AVIANCE™. Failure
to follow these instructions may damage and/or impair its operation, create hazards,
and void the warranty. In case there is any inconsistency or conflict between the English
version and any other language version of the content of this material, the English
version shall prevail.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed.
Note: Always ensure the water tank is filled with water above the ‘Min’ level mark when
operating the unit in the evaporative cooling & humidification modes.
Cooling
For the maximum cooling effect, place the unit in front of an open door or window. Ensure
that there is adequate cross-ventilation in the room by leaving a door or window open
opposite the cooler.
QUILO® AVIANCE™ must be kept level and there must be sufficient water in the tank. Doors
and windows should be opened to allow free airflow. The QUILO® AVIANCE™ works best
when placed near an open window, so that outside air is drawn into the unit, circulates in
the room, then exits via the door. The maximum cooling effect is felt when a person is near
the flow of air coming out of the unit.
Humidification
The QUILO® AVIANCE™ produces moist air through the evaporative cooling process and
can be used to humidify dry air. When the device is to be used for humidification, it must
be ensured that the windows and doors are closed.
Air Purification
To ensure that your room air is purified properly on both sides of the cycle, please make
sure that the gap between the air inlet and the wall is at least 50 cm and the gap to the air
outlet is at least 30 cm.
Please keep the device at least 1 meter away from television, radio, etc.
Please do not insert the power plug in the same socket as the television, radio, and other
electrical devices to avoid any electrical interference on the other devices.
Keeping the device placed at the same spot for a long time may result in the walls near
the device getting dirty.
To ensure that the device has adequate ventilation and works with maximum efficiency,
please keep it away from anything that might cause interference with the air inlet or
outlet.

the machine. Check the water level in the tank before
running the Cool & humidify Mode function. The Low
Water Alarm will sound when water is low. Running the
unit in Cool&humidity Mode withinadequate water may
cause pump failure.
If ice is available, you may add ice in the top
ice compartment to enhance the cooling performance.
Note: The water capacity refers to the total volume of water
that can be contained within the air cooler water tank and
water distribution system. The water capacity in the tank
at the “Max.” indicator level may be lower than the actual
water capacity of the air cooler.

Low water alarm
The unit is equipped with a low water sensor. In COOL&humidityMode, when water in the
tank isbelow the minimum level, you will hear 10timesalarm sounds, and the indicator light
will flashcontinuously. The unit will automatically pause evaporative cooling & humidification.
Refill the water tank to deactivate the alarm incool&humidityMode. First switch OFF the unit
andunplug from the electrical socket. Fill the water tank with water above the minimum water
level mark. Plug in and switch it ON again.
To deactivate the alarm and continue using the unit as a fan (without evaporative cooling &
humidification),switch the unit OFF and then ON again. The Low Water Alarm will activate
and keep running at Fan mode.

•Do not run the unit in COOL&humidity mode with stale water in the tank. You must empty
the water tank and refill it with fresh water, especially if the tank has not been cleaned in a
long time.
•The cleaning frequency for the Honeycomb & humidifiermedia depends on local air and
water conditions. In areas where the mineral content of water is high, mineral deposits may
build up on the Honeycomb Cooling Media &humidifer filter and restrict the performance.
Draining the water tankand refilling it with fresh water at least once a week will help reduce
mineral deposits. If mineral deposits remain on the Honeycomb Cooling Media&humidifer
filter, the media should be removed and washed under fresh water. The media should be
cleaned every two months or sooner, depending on your needs.
•For best results allow the Honeycomb Cooling Media&humidifer filter to dry after each use
by turning offthe cool function 15 minutes before turning the unit off.
