Install the Receiver
Yourreceiverworkswiththe5.8GHz Wireless A/V Signal
Sender(notincluded).Forsignalsenderinstallment,refer
totheuser’sguideoftheA/Vsignalsender.
1. Makesurethereceiverisoff,thenconnectthe
receivertoyourTVwiththesuppliedA/VcableOR
anS-Videocable(notsupplied).
2. ConnectthesuppliedACadaptertotheDC 12V
jack,thenplugitintoastandardhouseholdoutlet.
3. Adjusttheantennasothatthesidewithfoursquares
facesthetransmitter.

• IfyouusetheS-Video
connection on the transmitter,
youmustalsousetheS-Videoconnectiononthe
receiver.
• S-VideoandCompositeVideodonotworktogether.
• Makesurethereceiverisset2-4inches(5-10cm)
forwardtothetopofyourCRTortoyouratpanel
TVinordertohavethebestIRperformance.
• Ifyouhearapoppingsoundwhenyouplacethe
receiver on top of your TV, move the receiver until the
popping sound disappears.
• S-Videoconnectorshaveaspecialorientation.When
youwanttouseS-Videoconnection,handlethe
connector carefully, and make sure the orientation is
correct. Push it gently, otherwise, you will break the
connector and connector socket of device.
• BesuretheA/Vcable’splugcolorscorrespondwith
the receiver and A/V device jacks: white for audio left,
red for audio right, yellow for video.
• Foroptimumperformanceandreception,keep
the receiver away from wireless LAN access points,
microwave ovens, and wireless networks or phones
thatrunon5.8GHzfrequency.
• Rotatingtheantenna360oor more may cause
damage.

Limited Warranty
RadioShackwarrantsthisproductagainstdefectsinmaterialsandworkmanshipundernormaluse
bytheoriginalpurchaserforninety (90) days afterthedateofpurchasefromaRadioShack-owned
storeoranauthorizedRadioShackfranchiseeordealer.RADIOSHACKMAKESNOOTHER
EXPRESSWARRANTIES.
Thiswarrantydoesnotcover:(a)damageorfailurecausedbyorattributabletoabuse,misuse,failure
tofollowinstructions,improperinstallationormaintenance,alteration,accident,ActsofGod(such
asoodsorlightning),orexcessvoltageorcurrent;(b)improperorincorrectlyperformedrepairs
bypersonswhoarenotaRadioShackAuthorizedServiceFacility;(c)consumablessuchasfusesor
batteries;(d)ordinarywearandtearorcosmeticdamage;(e)transportation,shippingorinsurance
costs;(f)costsofproductremoval,installation,set-upservice,adjustmentorreinstallation;and(g)
claimsbypersonsotherthantheoriginalpurchaser.
Shouldaproblemoccurthatiscoveredbythiswarranty,taketheproductandtheRadioShacksales
receiptasproofofpurchasedatetoanyRadioShackstoreintheU.S.RadioShackwill,atitsoption,
unlessotherwiseprovidedbylaw:(a)repairtheproductwithoutchargeforpartsandlabor;(b)replace
theproductwiththesameoracomparableproduct;or(c)refundthepurchaseprice.Allreplaced
partsandproducts,andproductsonwhicharefundismade,becomethepropertyofRadioShack.
Neworreconditionedpartsandproductsmaybeusedintheperformanceofwarrantyservice.
Repairedorreplacedpartsandproductsarewarrantedfortheremainderoftheoriginalwarranty
period.Youwillbechargedforrepairorreplacementoftheproductmadeaftertheexpirationofthe
warrantyperiod.
RADIOSHACKEXPRESSLYDISCLAIMSALLWARRANTIESANDCONDITIONSNOTSTATEDINTHIS
