Original Instructions
Intented Use :
This tool is intended for tacking of wood, cardboard,
insulating material, fabric, foils, leather and similar
materials on surfaces of wood or materials similar to
wood, for private use only.
Safety instructions:
Warning! Read carefully before using the
stapler/nailer.
Failure to follow the warnings and instructions
listed below may result in electric shock or
serious injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for future
reference.
Work area safety:
• Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark
areas invite accidents.
• Do not operate tool in explosive atmospheres, such as
in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust.
• Keep children and bystanders away while operating
the tool.
• When applying at a height, take all the necessary
precautions to avoid accidents.
Electrical safety:
• Do not use or store the tool in damp or wet
conditions. Do not expose it to water or other
fluid substances in any way.
• Never pull the cord to unplug the charger.
• The appliance must be disconnected from the supply
means when removing the battery.
• Do not use the tool if any part is damaged or
defective.
Personal safety:
• Always wear safety goggles when using this tool. Use
facemask if the job is dusty. Keep proper footing and
balance at all the times. Do not overreach.
• Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or
jewellery.
• Stay alert. Watch what you are doing and use
common sense.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge. Children should
be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
• Always assume that the tool contains fasteners.
Careless handling of the tacker can result in
unexpected firing of fasteners and personal injury.
• Do not point the tool towards yourself or anyone
nearby. Unexpected triggering will discharge the
fastener causing an injury.
• Do not actuate the tool unless the tool is placed firmly
against the workpiece. If the tool is not in contact with
the workpiece, the fastener may be deflected away
from your target.
• Disconnect the tool from the battery pack when the
fastener jams in the tools. While removing a jammed
fastener, the tacker may be accidentally activated if it
is plugged in.
• Use caution while removing a jammed fastener. The
mechanism may be under compression and the
fastener may be forcefully discharged while attempting
to free a jammed condition.
• Do not use this tacker for fastening electric cables.
It is not designed for electric cable installation and
may damage the insulation of electric cable thereby
causing electric shock or fire hazards.
Batteries safety:
• Never attempt to open the battery pack for
any reason.
• Do not expose the battery to water and any
other liquids.
• Do not expose the battery to heat.
• Do not store in locations where the
temperature may exceed 50°C.
• The battery is to be disposed of safely.
• Charge only at ambient temperature
between 10°C and 50°C.
• Charge only using the charger provided with the tool.
• When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from
other metal objects like paper clips, coins, keys, nails,
screws, or other small metal objects that can make a
connection from one terminal to another.
Charger safety:
• The charger is double insulated; therefore no
earth wire is required. Always check that the
mains voltage corresponds to the voltage on
the rating plate.
• The charger is intended for indoor use only.
• Only use the charger for the intended battery
pack.
• Do not expose the charger to water.
• Do not open the charger.
• Replace the charger if the wire is damaged.
Operating instructions of tool:
• Use the tool only with specifically designated battery
pack.
• Removal and connection of the battery : To remove
the battery , press the unlocking buttons and
slide the battery out of the machine ➂. To connect
the battery; slide it in the other direction until the

connection clicks ➃.
• Loading of staples :
• Press the magazine locker to unlock it from the
tacker body.
• Slide the rail backwards.
• Insert staples/brads strip as shown on drawing
➇➈.
• Close the magazine by pushing the rail frontward
until locking.
• Power adjustment knob:
• Turn the power adjustment knob to adjust the
penetration depth of staples/brads to your need ➄.
• Operating the tool:
• Firmly press the safety yoke against the work
piece until it is pushed in a few millimetres ➅.
• Briefly press the trigger and then release again
➆.
• Trigger is locked as long as you do not press
safety yoke against the work piece, thus preventing
accidental operation.
• Maintenance :
• Maintain your tool. Check for misalignment or
binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any
other condition that may affect the power tool’s
operation. If damaged, have the power tool repaired
before use.
• Remove the battery pack before cleaning the tool.
• If the tool/charger should fail despite the care taken
in manufacturing and testing procedures, repair
should be carried out by an after-sales service
centre for Rapid tools.
Operating instructions of charger:
• Do not use the tool whilst charging process.
Remove the battery out off the tool.
• Connect the charging point of the charger into the
socket off the battery ➉.
• Connect the charger to the mains. xthe LED
on the charger will turn red during the charge ➉.
• When the battery is full charged, the LED off the
charger turn green ➉.
• Disconnect the plug out off the socket and
unplug the charger from the mains.
• During the process of charging, the charger can
become warm: this is normal.
Protecting the environment:
Separate Collection. Do not dispose power
tools into household waste!
According to the European Directive
2002/96CE on waste electrical and electronic
equipment
• Tool: When the tool needs to be replaced, or if it is
of no further use it should be brought to a separate
collection centre for recycling.s
• Battery: the batteries are recyclables.
The battery can be recharged many times. At the end of
their useful life, run the battery down completely, then
remove it from the tool, and bring it to a local recycling
station.
