1. Generel
•The RatTrap ET20 is a mechanical rat trap, used for mounting in the
sewer system. The solution is availble for pipes with sizes from Ø160
mm to Ø500 mm.
•The trap is fitted for the different pipe sizes using an Inlet design in
stainless steel –and the inlet also contains a rat block.
•The trap’s block prevents the rats from passing into the manhole –
instead the rats are guided into the RatTrap’s killing unit.
•In the killing unit you find a flap. When the rat touches the flap with its
head –a piston is released with great force. The piston will hit the rat in
the neck –and the rat will die immediately.
•The piston driven by a CO2 canister under high pressure.
•The entire system is monitored and serviced via a customized
webplatform and APP.
