Important Safety Warning

- This installation should be made by a qualified service person and should
conform to all local codes.
- DO NOT bundle UTP signal wires in the same conduit as high-voltage
wiring.
- To reduce the risk of fire or electrical shock, do not expose these products
to rain, moisture, dripping or splashing.
- No objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on equipment.
- DO NOT install the unit in a place where the operating ambient tempera-
ture exceeds 75° C.
- Make sure that the external power supply output voltage is in the recom-
mended range.
- Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers,
stoves or other apparatus that produce heat.
- Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at
plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the
apparatus.
- Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
- Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long
periods of time.
- Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required
when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as a power
supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled, or objects have
fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or
moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
- The mains plug is used as the disconnect device and shall remain readily
operable.

dripping or splashing and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases shall
be placed on the apparatus.

be connected to a mains socket outlet through an AC to DC Power supply
when using DC input.

shall remain readily operable.

The Raytec Model RVi1120 is a universal input AC/DC wall mount power
supply. It is designed to work with the most demanding PoE Midspan
devices for CCTV applications. It can provide up to 120W at 56V.
It is highy reliable with sevearl internal protection circuits including Short
Circuit, Overload, Over Volatge and Over Temperature. The RVi1120 is a
class I power supply with earth pin. It has a buit-in active PFC circuit.
It meets the EISA 2007 Energy Independence and Security Act.
- Plug the AC power cord provided with the unit to the mains. The Green
LED will indicate the power status.
Warning: In order to turn the power supply off unplug the
AC power cord from the unit and the mains.
Raytec 5 Year Warranty
The warranty requires return of a product directly to Raytec in the UK. Replacement
of parts or product may be new or refurbished and will meet or exceed specifications
of the original parts or products.
- Registration of the product is required to validate the warranty
- Proof of purchase may be required
- The repair or replacement of a faulty product within the warranty period remains at
the discretion of Raytec
The Raytec warranty covers defects in parts on workmanship but does not cover fair
wear and tear, defect resulting from misuse, unauthorized modification, operation or
storage outside the environment specification for the product or in-transit damage.
The warranty may only be enforced by the first installer.
