Back Ground Music Mini Controller

Please read the manual before install or
operate the system.
Function Instruction
-Unique, simple appearance design.

’’ TFT true color screen full touch
screen, with graphical operation
interface.
-5 sources: USB, SD card (support MP3,
WMA format,etc.), built-in FM tuner,
AUX and you can play music on your
device via Bluetooth.
-Built-in Hi-Fi digital amplifier, offering
2.1 outputs connect to active subwoofer.
-Built-in DSP effect, offering 5 effect
options: normal, pop, classic, jazz and
rock.
-Independent timer with power off
memory function.
-Background options.
-RS485 interface for connecting to
intelligent central control, and integrate
with other smart home devices.
-RJ45 network interface，connect to LAN
and wireless router. With wireless router
DM836 can be controlled by iPhone,
iPad, iPod or Android smart phone.
-Infrared control.
Functions
1. Power on/Power off
⑴Power on: Push the right bottom switch to
left and wait 5s to enter the main
interface. （See Chart 1）
⑵Power off：Push the right bottom switch to
right （See Chart 1）.
Tips: Restart should be 5s later after power
off.

⑴Standby：Keep touching for 2s in
main interface and enter the standby state.
DM836 stillcan be controlled by smart
phone or RS485 device when standby.
⑵Power on：When standby, touch screen to
turn on.
3. Main Interface
5 audio sources: Bluetooth/USB/SD Card
/FM/AUX& System Set, Timer and Clock.
⑴Choose audio source by first touch audio
button, enter to operation interface by
second touch.
⑵In the main interface, USB/SD have 3
states: ①‘Grey
’ when without USB/SD
card insert (see chart 2), ②‘Blue
’ when
USB/SD card insert (see chart 2), ③
‘Light up
’ when the USB/SD card is
selected (see chart 3).
USB/SD card
USB sample (SD card is same as USB):
1．Touch “USB” (or use controller) to enter
USB operation interface（see chart 4）.
2．Choose USB play mode by touch following
icon：
3．Touch“ ”icon to control volume.
4．Touch ”standard”, “pop”, “jazz”, “classic”,
“rock” to choose DSP sound mode.
Tips: Can NOT operate when without USB or
SD Card insert.
Bluetooth
1．Touch “blue tooth” in main screen (or use
controller) to enter Bluetooth operation
interface.（see chart 5）.
2．Take play music on mobile phone as
sample: firstly, turn on Bluetooth search
in mobile, then touch “match” in DM836
(DM836 Bluetooth item is “Auxdio B01),
When match you will hear a “Bi” sound .
3．Touch “ ”to control volume.
4．Touch ”standard”, “pop”, “jazz”, “classic”,
“rock” to choose DSP sound mode.

FM Radio
1．Touch “FM” (or use controller) to enter FM
radio operation interface.（see chart 6）.
2．Touch “ ” or “ ” one time to search
the radio station by hand, when quick touch
two times to search radio station
automatically, it will stop once get the radio
station. Touch “ “to save the radio
station. (“1/2”means 2 stations have been
saved, and the current station is first one. It
can save maximum 99 stations.)
3．Touch“ ” to control volume.
4．Touch ”standard”, “pop”, “jazz”, “classic”,
“rock” to choose DSP sound mode.
AUX
1．Touch “AUX” in main screen (or use
controller) to enter AUX operation
interface（see chart 7）.
2．Touch“ ” to control volume.
3．Touch ”standard”, “pop”, “jazz”, “classic”,
“rock” to choose DSP sound mode.
Tips: Make sure extended AUX audio is
connected.
System Setting
1．Touch “Set” in main screen to enter system
setting（see chart 8）.
2．The following operations can be achieved
in the setting function
-Language options: Chinese, English
-EQ：standard, pop, jazz, classic, rock
-Theme: elegant, showy, metallic.
-Screentime out:30s, 60s and never
-Backlight Brightness: adjust the
backlight brightness
-Net setting：Set the net IP and RS485
address（see chart 9）

1Set the IP address according to LAN.
○
2Local address is for RS485（address
range is 1～248）.
Timer Setting
1．Touch “ clock” in main screen to enter
timer setting interface（see chart 10）.
2. Touch “ ” / “ ” to turn on/off the
timer. Maximum can set 20 timer points,
when more then 5 timer points, please slide
up and down the screen to checktimer
point .
3．Touch “ ” to create a new timer point, it
will show as Chart 11 as follow.
-Time：Touch time and “ ” to
set timer
’ stime.
-Touch “ ”to turn ON/OFF the
current timer. (blue and light up means
selected. )
-Repeat: cycle basic on 7 days(one week),
blue and light up means selected.
-Program：USB/SD card/FM are options,
and song and channel can be selected.
-Touch “ ”to control volume.
-Song/Channel：Choose USB/SD song or
FM channel.
-Touch “save” to confirm current setting,
touch “cancel” to give up, and touch
“delete” to delete current timer point.
Time Setting
1．Touch “ Clock” in main interface to enter
time setting interface（see chart 11）. Set
the date and time, by touching the up and
down, touch “save” to confirm.

1．Installation Steps
○
1Install cassette and wiring

2Turn off power supply （Push the switch to
right）

Usescrews to fix bottom box to Cassette

5Install the button battery in panel
○
6Half install panel and test
Half install panel to the bottom box→Turn on power
（Push the switch to left）→Functional test

7Fastening the panel after test is normal and
installation is complete.

○
1Turn off the power

2Open the fix buttons →
Pull out the panel horizontally
Button Position
Open the middle button with thumb or other objects (not sharp)
slide from upper left corner gap to right, open the rest buttons
by slide along the gap.
Y ou will hear a sound like ‘Click ’ when
each button is opened.
1. Pull out the panel horizontally after open all the buttons.
