1. Wire stripper
Intended use of wire strippers
The wire stripper is suitable for cutting and stripping fine-wire, flexible cables made of copper and
aluminum with cross-sections from 0.25 to 6 mm² (AWG 23-10).
Description of wire stripper
The wire stripper has 2 holding jaws and 2 extractor jaws that close automatically when the two pliers
handles are pressed together and move apart. This will automatically isolate the cable. The holding
force of the holding jaws can be adjusted using an adjusting screw. The stop is used to set the length
with repeatable accuracy.
Application
Setting the stripping length:
The stop can be adjusted from 5 mm to 15 mm. Turn the stop
upwards, adjust the stop bracket to the desired position and lock it
again
With a little more effort, the stop can also be adjusted in the locked
state!
Insert the cable into the pliers as far as it will go and push the pliers
through.

Check the result:
The single wires or the braided shield must not be damaged.
Pressure points on the remaining insulation are permitted.
Readjustment of the incision:
The holding force can be regulated by turning the adjusting screw.
By turning towards +, the holding jaws are pressed together more
tightly.
Isolate in the cable:
This function is useful for branches in the cable.
Cables up to 6 mm² can be cut off

Scratch marks on the remaining
cable insulation
The holding jaws have too little force and cannot hold the cable.
Set the holding pressure higher (turn towards +)
The cable is unsuitable
The individual wires of the cable
will be damaged
Reset the adjusting screw (turn to -)
The cable is unsuitable

2. Crimping pliers
Purpose of use
The crimping tool for insulated cable lugs enables high-quality crimping of cables with a cross-section
from 0.5 to 6 mm² (AWG 22 - 10).
With various jaws that can be used, uninsulated cable lugs and ring lugs from 1.5 to 6 mm² (AWG 16 -
10) can also be pressed.
Description of crimping pliers
The tool has a ratchet with forcible completion. The pliers only open automatically after the entire
pressing process has been completed. The pliers can be opened via a release. If the pliers are under
tension, the release can be opened with a screwdriver as a support.
Application
Strip the cable according to the length of the compression grommet of
the cable lug and twist the copper wires together slightly.
Select a cable lug that matches the cable cross-section and attach it
to the stripped cable end.
Select the crimping recess that matches the cable cross-section
Identification of the jaws
Place the cable lug with the cable in the recess. Pay attention to
the correct orientation (see picture).
The narrower side of the trough always points towards the plug-in
contact

Close the pliers a little so that the cable lug can no longer fall out.
Now align the cable so that the insulation is up to the stop on the
cable lug.
Squeeze the pliers together until they release and open again
automatically.
Check the pressure.
Jaw change
Open the screws of the jaw fastening and pull out the jaws.
If these are a bit stiff, use a screwdriver to pry them out.
Insert the new jaws and screw in the fastening screws.
Use for ring shoes
Use for uninsulated cable lugs

Troubleshooting of crimping pliers
The pliers do not open
Press the pliers together firmly until they open automatically
If the pliers are jammed, press the release button (depending on
the tension of the pliers, a screwdriver is required to activate the
lever)
Insufficient crimp result
Select the right combination of cable cross-section and cable lug
Increase the quality of the cable lugs
Select the correct pressing cavity
Insert the cable lug from the right side
If possible, choose a smaller pressing cavity
3. Wire ferrule pliers
Purpose of use wire ferrule pliers
With these hand crimping pliers, wire end sleeves according to DIN 46228 Part 1 and Part 4 can be
processed.
For cables with a cross section of 0.25 to 6 mm² (AWG 23 - 10).
Description of wire ferrule pliers
The tool has a ratchet with forcible completion. The pliers only open automatically after the entire
pressing process has been completed. The pliers can be opened via a release. If the pliers are under
tension, the release can be opened with a screwdriver as a support.

Application of wire ferrule pliers
Strip the cable according to the length of the wire end ferrule and twist
the copper wires together slightly.
Select a ferrule that matches the cross-section of the cable and attach
it to the stripped end of the cable. The cable strands should be flush
with the wire end ferrule.
Insert the wire end ferrule with the cable into the opening of the
pliers as far as it will go.
Squeeze the pliers together until they release and open again
automatically.
Check the pressure
Adjustment of the pressing force
The pressing force is preset at the factory. Should it still be necessary to readjust the pressing force,
proceed as follows:
Open the locking screw of the adjusting wheel and turn the
adjusting screw in the desired direction:
Direction + (more pressing force)
Direction - (less pressing force)
Screw the locking screw back in firmly

Troubleshooting of wire ferrule pliers
The pliers do not open
Press the pliers together firmly until they open automatically
If the pliers are jammed, press the release button (depending on
the tension of the pliers, a screwdriver is required to activate the
lever)
Insufficient crimp result
Choose the right combination of ferrules and cables
Increase the quality of the ferrules
Readjust the pressing force
