WARNING: Please Read Before Charging or Using Battery
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS
Lithium Polymer and Li-ion batteries are volatile. Failure to read and follow the below
instructions may result in fire, personal injury and/or damage to property if charged or used
improperly.
When charging battery pack, please place battery in a fire proof container. Please do not leave
battery pack and charger on wood, carpet or other similar materials unattended. Li-ion &
Polymer battery pack(s) MUST be kept away from children.
Please make sure to charge using a smart charger. Smart chargers help to regulate the battery
pack balance during the charging process.
Please pay close attention to polarity connections when charging and discharging battery
packs to avoid improper connections. Always double check polarity of each battery's
connector to so that red wires are connected to red wires and black wires are connected to
black wires ONLY.
Always unplug the battery when the RC vehicle is not in use.
Never charge batteries unattended. When charging Li-ion batteries, you should always remain
in constant observation to monitor the charging process and react to potential problems that
may occur.
Some LiPo/Li-ion chargers on the market may have technical deficiencies that may cause
improper charge or incorrect rate of charge to the LiPo/Li-ion batteries. It is your sole responsibility to
ensure the charger you purchased works properly. Always monitor the charging process to ensure
batteries are being charged properly. Failure to do so may result in fire. We recommend our charger
Z-E0047 be used in conjunction with this truck.
If at any time you witness a battery start to inflate, swell up, smoke or become hot, discontinue
charging process immediately. Disconnect the battery and observe it in a safe place for
approximately 15 minutes. This may cause the battery to leak and the reaction
with air may cause the chemicals to ignite, resulting in fire.
Since delayed chemical reaction can occur, it is best to observe the battery as a safety
precaution. Observation should occur in a safe area outside of any building or vehicle and
away from any combustible materials.
Wire lead shorts can cause fire! If you accidentally short the wires, the battery must be
placed in a safe area for observation for approximately 15 minutes. Additionally, if a short
occurs and contact is made with metal (such as rings on your hand), severe injuries may
occur due to the conductibility of electric current. Please note that a battery can still ignite
even after 10 minutes.
