As a new subscriber, you have three different subscription plans to choose from for the
RCA RM2100 Internet Receiver. ust read about each plan below, choose the one that
best meets your needs and follow the instructions on the following pages to sign up –
it’s that simple!
MSN TV Service Plans
Unli ited Internet Access Ti e –
Surf all you want for one low price
Get an unlimited number of hours to access the web, your e-mail, and
the other features of the MSN®TV service for one low monthly price.

Econo y Plan – 5 hours of service
The Economy Plan offers you five (5) hours of access each month to
the same great content and services as the unlimited access time
plan. Additional access costs $2.95 an hour and is pro-rated
on a per minute basis. See next page for plan details.

MSN One Plan – Get two for the price of one!
If you have a computer at home that uses MSN®Internet Access
(Unlimited Internet Access Plan) to connect to the Internet, you may be
eligible to get MSN TV service at no additional charge. See next page
for plan details.

MSN TV Service details:
Monthly service fee required. Requires a monthly subscription to MSN TV service and acceptance of the
terms of service upon registration. MSN TV services are available as a local call in most areas. In some
areas, long distance telephone toll charges may apply. To check local access for MSN TV service, call
1-800-469-3288.
Unlimited Access Time Plan:
For one low monthly price of $21.95 you get an unlimited number of hours to access the Web, your
e-mail and other exciting features of the MSN TV service.
Economy Plan details:
Your first 5 hours of use are included in the $9.95 monthly fee. All access time in excess of 5 hours
will be charged to you at the rate of $2.95 per hour and is pro-rated on a per minute basis. Credit or
debit card payment required for first month of service. Available to U.S. subscribers only. Not currently
available to Knowledge Networks, Rogers Cable, DishPlayer, or UltimateTV subscribers. No additional
discount applies for Open ISP subscribers. Monthly service fee required. Requires a monthly subscription
to the MSN TV service and acceptance of the terms of service upon registration.
MSN One Plan details:
Must subscribe by anuary 15, 2003. All current MSN TV service subscribers, MSN Internet Access
subscribers, and potential subscribers who own or are willing to purchase a PC and MSN TV receiver
(with the exception of MSN Broadband, Triple Play, Knowledge Networks, and Rogers Cable customers)
are eligible for the MSN One Plan. MSN Internet Access and MSN TV service accounts must be in the
same household. Payment by credit card required. Concurrent access to the Internet via MSN TV service
and MSN Internet Access available with the use of two phone lines without charge for a limited time only.
Monthly service fee required. Requires a monthly subscription to MSN Internet Access (on a home PC)
and is subject to acceptance of the MSN Internet Access Subscription Agreement and MSN TV Service
Terms of Service.

Signing up for Unli ited Internet Access Ti e
To sign up for Unlimited Internet Access Time,
follow steps 1 through 5:
1. When you turn on your Internet Receiver for the first time, you’ll see a screen letting you know the
receiver is connecting to the MSN TV service. Once you’re connected, you’ll see a series of screens
that offer an overview of how to use your remote control or wireless keyboard. Then you’ll see a
screen called Signing up. Choose the Continue button on the bottom of this screen.
2. Next, you’ll see a screen that looks like this.
Choose No on the bottom of this screen.

4. Next, you’ll go through a series of screens that ask you to provide information – such as your name,
address, and payment method – for your MSN TV service account. Simply follow the instructions on
each screen to finish signing up for the MSN TV service.
5. Once you’ve finished signing up, you’ll go to your personalized MSN TV service Home page, your
starting point for exploring the MSN TV service.

Signing up for the Econo y Plan
To sign up for the Economy Plan, follow these steps:
1. When you turn on your Internet Receiver for the first time, you’ll see a screen letting you know the
receiver is connecting to the MSN TV service. Once you’re connected, you’ll see a series of screens
that offer an overview of how to use your remote control or wireless keyboard. Then you’ll see a
screen called Signing up. Choose the Continue button on the bottom of this screen.
2. Next, you’ll see a screen that looks like this.
Choose No on the bottom of this screen.

4. Next, you’ll go through a series of screens
that ask you to type your first name, last
name, phone number, and billing address.
Simply follow the instructions on each of
these screens to type the information.
5. You’ll see a screen called Payment options.
On this screen, choose the button labeled
Promotion.

6. Next, you’ll see a screen that looks like this.
In the box labeled Promotion, type EPLAN.
Choose Continue on the bottom of
the screen.
7. You’ll see a screen that looks like this.

8. Next, you’ll go through a series of screens that help you finish signing up for the MSN TV service.
Simply follow the instructions on each screen.
9. Once you’ve finished signing up, you’ll receive an e-mail that provides you with additional information
about the Economy Plan.

Signing up for the MSN One Plan
To sign up for the MSN One Plan, steps 1 through 11:
Attention: In order to qualify for the MSN One Plan you must be a paying MSN Internet Access
subscriber who has accepted the terms and conditions of the Subscription Agreement. If you are
already a MSN Internet Access subscriber or would like to become one, please call 1-800-469-3288
to obtain your special promotion code.
Follow the following steps after you call 1-800-469-3288 and receive your special promotion code:
1. When you turn on your Internet Receiver for the first time, you’ll see a screen letting you know the
receiver is connecting to the MSN TV service. Once you’re connected, you’ll see a series of screens
that offer an overview of how to use your remote control or wireless keyboard. Then you’ll see a
screen called Signing up.
Choose the Continue button on the bottom of this screen.

2. Next, you’ll see a screen that looks like this.

6. You’ll see a screen called Payment options.
On this screen, choose the button
labeled Promotion.
4. You’ll see a screen called Getting a promotion
code. The promotion code you’ll use to sign up
for the MSN One Plan will be provided when
you call 1-800-469-3288.
Choose Continue on the bottom of this screen.
5. Next, you’ll go through a series of screens
that ask you to type your first name, last name,
phone number, and billing address. Simply
follow the instructions on each of these screens
to type the information.
7. Next, you’ll see a screen that looks like this.
In the box labeled Promotion, type in the
promotion code you received when you
called 1-800-469-3288.
Choose Continue on the bottom of the
screen.

10. You’ll see a screen called Settings that looks
like this. In the box labeled Your MSN ISP
user name, type your MSN Internet Access
user name. Next, in the box labeled Your
MSN ISP password, type your MSN Internet
Access password.
Choose Continue at the bottom of the screen.
11. Once you’ve provided this information, your Internet Receiver will reconnect to the MSN TV service,
and you’ll see your personalized MSN TV service Home page, your starting point for exploring the
MSN TV service.

8. You’ll see a screen that says, “Thanks for typing in your special promotion code. You’ll automatically
receive the benefits for your promotion once you sign up for MSN TV.”
Choose Continue on the bottom of the screen.
9. Next, you’ll go through a series of screens that help you sign up for the MSN TV service. Simply follow
the instructions on each screen.
