This child seat, RECARO Zero.1, is recommended for
children in the ECE groups 0+ and 1 (up to 18kg). The
installation in the vehicle is exclusively carried out with the
ISOFIX system.
Tested and approved in compliance with ECE R44/04.
Subject to printing errors, mistakes and technical changes.
NOTICE - please keep for future reference. A storage
compartment for the instructions is located on the back of
the child seat.

1. 설명
RECARO Zero.1은 ECE 그룹 0+/1의 요건

1. Description
The RECARO Zero.1 meets the require-
ments for ECE groups 0+/1, for children
weighing up to 18 kg, and may only
be installed in vehicles with an ISOFIX
system.
The RECARO Zero.1 may be used in
rearfacing direction, for children up to 18
kg, and in forward-facing direction, for
children weighing 9 - 18 kg.
The child seat corresponds to the ISOFIX
size classes D or B1. Please refer to
your vehicle handbook for information on
which seats are approved for the use of
child car seats.
The RECARO Zero.1 is tested and appro-
ved according to ECE 44/04.
The vehicle model list will detail which
vehicles are compatible with the
RECARO Zero.1. The latest version of the
vehicle model list can be found on our
website www.recaro-cs.com.

2. 안전 지침
·RECARO ZERO.1은 비사용 시에도 설명
서 지침에 따라 고정시켜야 합니다. 시트
를 고정하지 않으면 비상 정차시 승차자
의 부상으로 이어질 수 있습니다.
·유아용 카시트 설치시 차문 또는 앞좌석
사이에 끼지 않도록 주의하십시오.
·본 제품을 어떤 식으로든 개조해서는 안
되며, 설치 및 사용 설명서의 지침을 주의
해서 따라야 합니다. 그렇지 않으면 운행
중 아이가 위험에 처할 우려가 있습니다.

2. Safety Instructions
·The RECARO ZERO.1 should always be
secured according to the instructions,
even when not in use. In the event that
the driver has to brake hard in an emer-
gency, an unattached seat may cause
injury to occupants in the vehicle.
·Install the child seat in the car in such
a way that it is not trapped by the front
seats or the vehicle doors.
·The child seat must not be modied
in any way, and the instructions for
installation and use must be followed
carefully, otherwise the child could be
exposed to risks while travelling.
·The belts must not be twisted or trap-
ped and must be completely tightened.
·After an accident, the child seat must
be removed and tested in the factory.
·Always ensure that luggage and other
items are adequately secured, par-
ticularly those on the rear window shelf,
as these could cause injury in the event
of a collision. Set a good example and
always fasten your seat belt. An adult
who is not wearing a seat belt can also
endanger the child‘s safety.
·Always strap your child in.
·Never leave your child unattended in
the child seat.
·Protect the child seat from direct sun-
light in order to avoid your child being
burnt by it and to preserve the colour of
the cover.
·The child seat must not be used wi-
thout the cover. The cover must never
be replaced with a cover which has not
been recommended by the manufac-
turer, since this cover comprises an
integral part of the seat safety system.
·Before setting off, always check the
indicator display on the front of the seat
base and make sure that it is green.

3. 처음 사용 전
RECARO Zero.1은 정면을 바라보는 위치로 장착됩

3. Before first use
The RECARO Zero.1 comes in the forward-facing
position. For babies up to 9 kg the seat shell must
be used in rear-facing direction.
To prevent the accidental incorrect use in the
wrong seat position, the RECARO Zero.1 is
equipped with a function that resists if the seat is
turned in the forward-facing position by mistake.
To activate this function you must turn the seat
shell into access position (see chapter 6) and then
keep on turning into the rear-facing position. The
warning function is now activated.

Check that the adjustment switch on the bottom
side of the seat is set rear-facing.

If you want to use the child seat in a forward-
facing direction at a later stage, rst remove the
seat (see chapter 8).
Now tilt the seat to the side to access the adjust-
ment switch. To switch the adjustment lever, pull
it and then rotate it 90° until the arrow points to
the symbol for the forward-facing position.
Let the switch lock in place.

4. 유아용 카시트 설치

4. Installation of the child seat
Push the ISOFIX guides through the gap in the up-
holstery between the backrest and seat and onto
the ISOFIX brackets. Ensure that the open side is
located on the top. This may not be required if the
vehicle is tted with xed ISOFIX guides.

Fold out the support leg before installing it into
the vehicle. NOTICE: The support leg must always
be folded out when using the child seat.

To extend the ISOFIX connectors, operate the
ISOFIX-lever (14) at the front, above the support
leg, and pull out the ISOFIX-connectors (5) as far
as the stop.

brackets and push until you hear the connectors
lock in place.

IMPORTANT: Both ISOFIX-displays must change
to green. Check that the child seat is securely

Lift the ISOFIX-length adjusting lever (14) and
push the RECARO Zero.1 towards the backrest

To adjust the height of the support leg, rst push
the support foot upwards as far as the stop and
then operate the locking mechanism support foot
(17) on the front of the support leg.
Now pull out the support leg, until it is securely
standing on the vehicle oor. Make sure that the
support leg is locked securely in place after letting
go of the locking mechanism.

If the length is adjusted correctly, the display for
the support foot will change to green as soon as
you lower the support foot onto the vehicle oor.
If this is not the case, extend the support foot a
little further as described above.
IMPORTANT: The display must change to green.

In order to improve safety in the event of an
accident, activate the child seat side impact
protection. To do so, lift the impact protection on
the side of the child seat facing the vehicle door.
Check that the impact protection is locked in place
securely by applying pressure to it.

5. 아이 위치 고정(벨트 높낮이 조절)
어깨벨트와 머리받침대의 높낮이는 아이 키에 맞게

5. Securing the child in (with height adjust-
ment of belt)
The height of the shoulder belts and the headrest
can be adjusted to your child. The shoulder belts
should ideally pass over your child‘s shoulders at
shoulder height or slightly higher in a backward
direction.
IMPORTANT: The lower edge of the headrest is
ideally positioned about 2 nger breadths above
the shoulders of the child.

Height adjustment of the headrest:
To release the locking mechanism, pull up the
adjusting lever headrest (16) on the headrest.

Adjust the headrest into the required position and
allow the locking mechanism to click into place.
Ensure that the locking mechanism is locked in
place securely by pushing downwards on the
headrest.
It may be necessary to loosen the belts prior to
this step.

조작하고 어깨벨트를 그림처럼 앞으로 당깁니다.
To loosen the belts operate the seatbelt adjust-
ment switch (19) and pull the shoulder belts
forward as pictured.

and pull out the tips in an upward direction.

Put the child into the child seat. When fastening
the belts to the child, ensure that you do not twist
them.

Put the tips together and insert them into the
buckle (8). Push in until you hear them lock into
place.

Tighten the belt by pulling on the adjuster strap
(10). The more tightly the belt ts your child, the
safer he or she is in the RECARO Zero.1. We
therefore recommend removing thick jackets or
pullovers when in the vehicle.
IMPORTANT: Ensure that the lap belts in parti-
cular are tight and tted as low as possible across
the child‘s pelvis.
After strapping in the child, turn the seat shell
back to the regular driving position.

Use the seat insert for newborn babies (12) until
your child has reached a weight of approx. 9 kg.

To remove the seat insert for newborn babies
(12), undo the buckle (8) and place the belts on
the outside. Now you can remove the seat insert
for newborn babies. Store it in a dry and dust-
protected location for possible future use.
