device 100% legally within the USA, you must record video with audio recording turned off. If you are located in a country or a part of a

1Quick Set-up
A. Charging the Battery:
We recommend charging your WC50 for 15-20 hours before use. Charge your WC50 using the ac
adapter provided.
B. Insert Micro SD Card:
Insert a micro SD card (not included) into the micro SD card slot of the WC50 (see picture below).
The WC50 supports a 2GB-128GB class 10 micro SD card.
C. Power On/O:
Powering on the WC50:
1. Insert a micro SD card into the WC50.
2. Press the power button on the remote control. A GREEN light followed by 3 blinking RED lights
will indicate it is powered on and recording. When the WC50 is powered on, it automatically starts
recording video in motion detection mode. (see diagram for indicator light).
Powering on with Power Cable:
1. Insert a micro SD card into the WC50.
2. Insert power cord to the DC 5V charging port (see diagram) of the WC50 and it will be powered
on. A GREEN light followed by 3 blinking RED lights indicates it is powered on and recording.
When the WC50 is powered on, it automatically starts recording video in motion detection mode.

Powering o the WC50:
1.Press the power button on the remote control. The RED light will blink 3 times to conrm that the
WC50 has powered down.
NOTE:
The steps to powering o the WC50 are the same for both methods of powering on the WC50.
The WC50 can record while plugged into a power source or using the internal rechargeable battery.
D. Adjust Camera View Angle:
You can adjust the view angle of your camera by using the camera adjustment wheel located on the
back of your WC50. (see diagram; labeled as “camera switch”) Scroll the wheel up to tilt the camera
angle down and vice versa.
E. Loop Recording:
If Loop Recording is turned on, your WC50 will record over the oldest les when the memory
capacity is reached so that you never have to change the memory card. If Loop Recording is turned
o, your WC50 will stop recording when the memory capacity is reached. (see section 5-B-3)
F. Video format and Recording Time:
There are 4 video resolution options: 480p, 720P30, 720P60 or 1080P and 3 options for the video
time which include 1 min, 3 min, and 5 min.
(see section 5-B-4 for more detail)
G. Remote Control
You will use the remote control for many functions on the WC50 such as start/stop recording,
switching modes, taking photos, and navigating the menu system (using the included video output
cable). We recommend pointing the remote directly towards the front of the clock at a 2ft-10ft
range. Please refer to the remote control diagram.

2Recording Modes
A. Standby mode :
This is an intermediary mode between all other modes. Whenever you stop any recording mode,
the WC50 goes into standby mode.
Standby mode is indicated by a solid GREEN light on the back WC50. (see diagram for indicator
light).
B. Motion Activated Recording:
This is the default mode the WC50 goes into when it is powered on. In this mode, the WC50 will
record only when motion is detected. Any type of motion will be detected in this mode. In this
mode the video records in 1 min intervals to reduce le size.
Activate Motion Detection Mode:
1. Power on the WC50 and it will automatically start recording in motion activation.
2. A green light followed by 3 blinking RED lights will indicate recording has started and then turn of
during recording.
3. It will record in one minute intervals saving each recording to the SD card.
NOTE: The RED indicator light will blink 3 times anytime motion is detected.
Stop Motion Detection Mode:
1. To stop recording press the motion detection button on the remote.
2. The recording will stop, your WC50 will switch to the standby mode, and the current le will
be saved.
3. To start recording again, press the Motion Record button on the remote.
MODE BATTERY LIFE: Up to 28 hrs.
C. Continuous Recording:
In this mode, the WC50 will record continuously. There are 3 options for the video time which
include 1 min, 3 min, and 5 min. This is the only mode where these three options take aect. The
time selected determines the length of segment the video will be broken into to reduce le size (see
section 5-B-4).

NOTE: You can activate Loop recording to prevent the memory card from lling up (see
section 5-B-3).
Activate Continuous Recording mode:
1. Power on your WC50 and it will automatically start recording in motion detection mode.
2. Press the motion detection button on the remote to stop motion detection recording.
3. The WC50 will enter standby mode which will be indicated by a solid GREEN light.
4. Press the continuous record button on the remote to start recording.
5. The green indicator light will blink 2 times to indicate recording has started and will turn o
during recording.
NOTE: You can activate continuous recording mode from any other recording mode by rst
stopping that mode and then pressing the continuous record button.
Stop Continuous Recording mode:
1. To stop recording press the continuous recording button on the remote.
2. The recording will stop, your WC50 will switch to the standby mode, and le will be saved.
MODE BATTERY LIFE: Up to 22 hrs.
D. PIR (Passive Infrared Sensor) Motion Activated Recording:
For motion activated recording, we recommend this mode to all users, since it is the most accurate
and precise mode of the WC50. “A passive infrared sensor (PIR sensor) is an electronic sensor that
measures infrared (IR) light radiating from objects in its eld of view” - Wikipedia.
This mode will only record when it senses the presence of any moving object producing infrared
(heat) like a human. In this mode the video records in 1 min intervals to reduce le size.
Activate PIR Motion Detection mode:
1. Power on your WC50 and it will automatically start recording in motion detection mode.
2. Press the Motion detection button on the remote to stop motion detection recording.
3. The WC50 will enter the standby mode indicated by a solid GREEN light.
4. Press the PIR button on the remote to start recording.
5. The RED indicator light will blink 3 times to indicate recording has started and then will turn o
during recording.
6. Will record for one minute and then save recorded le to SD card.

3Photo Taking
This option allows you to take still photos using the remote.
A. Take Photos:
1. Power on your WC50 and it will automatically start recording in motion detection mode.
2. Press the motion detection button on the remote to stop motion detection recording, it will enter
the standby mode indicated by a solid GREEN light.
3. While in standby mode, press the photo taking button on the remote to take photos, the light
will ash RED to indicate that a photo was taken and then return to GREEN (standby mode).
Repeat as needed.
NOTE: You can start taking photos from any other recording mode by rst stopping that recording
mode and then pressing the photo taking button.
NOTE: You can activate PIR motion detection mode from any other recording mode by rst
stopping that mode and then pressing the PIR button.
Stop PRI Motion Detection mode:
1. To stop recording press the PIR motion detection recording button on the remote.
2. The recording will stop, your WC50 will switch to the standby mode, and le will be saved.
MODE BATTERY LIFE: Up to 6 Months.
NOTE: Every recording mode can be played while your WC50 is plugged in.

4Play Back
A. Memory Card to PC:
1. Power o the WC50.
2. Remove the micro SD card and insert it to a PC using a card reader.
3. Open the SD card folder on PC.
4. View les.
B. WC50 to TV via AV cable:
1. Connect the WC50 to your TV via the AV cable provided.
2. Power on your WC50 and it will automatically start recording in motion detection mode .
3. Press the playback button on the remote.
4. Use the up and down arrow on the remote to navigate the les .
5. Press the Ok button to select or play desired le or press the menu button to access more options
which include delete, volume, and setup (see section 5-B-8).
6. Press the Ok button to stop selected or playing video.
7. Press any recording mode button to exit play back.
NOTE: When you exit the play back mode your WC50 will begin recording in the mode of the
button that you pressed.

5WC50 Settings
A. Main Menu:
To access the WC50 settings:
1. Connect the WC50 to a TV/Monitor via the supplied AV cable.
2. Power on your WC50 and it will automatically start recording in motion detection mode.
3. Press the motion detection button on the remote to stop motion detection recording and it will
enter standby mode indicated by a solid GREEN light.
4. While in standby mode, press the menu button on the remote to enter the main menu.
5. To exit the main menu at any time, press the menu button on the remote.
B. Menu Description:
While in the main menu, you can navigate using the UP or Down arrow. Press the OK button on
the remote to conrm selection or access more menu options. Press the menu button to return to
previous page.

1. Resolution - Here you can change between the four resolution options: 480p, 720P30, 720P60 or
1080P.
2. Time Stamp - Here you can choose between having the time/date stamp, just the date stamp, or
neither display.
3. Loop Record - If Loop record is turned on, your WC50 will record over the oldest les when the
memory capacity is reached so that you never have to change the memory card. If Loop is turned
o, your WC50 will stop recording when the memory capacity is reached.
4. Video Time - There are 3 options for the video time which include 1 min, 3 min, and 5 min. The
time selected determines the length of segment the video will be broken into to reduce le size.
5. Audio Record - This option allows you to control audio recording in the videos. If you want sound
to be recorded on the video, select On. If you don’t want sound to be recorded, select O.
6. EV (exposure Value) - There are 13 exposure values available ranging from -2.0 to +2.0.
7. Motion Detection - There are 3 sensitivity options available which include High, Medium, and
Low. This will not eect the PIR mode.
8. Setup - Here you’ll nd more settings available to help you further personalize your WC50.
a. Format: Here you can format the micro SD card inserted in your WC50. To format the
SD card select execute. If you do not want to format the memory card select ‘cancel’.
b. Language: Here you can select your preferred language.
c. TV output: There are 2 options which include NTSC and PAL.
d. Light Freq. (light frequency): There are 2 options which include 50Hz and 60Hz.
e. Date Format: You can choose between 3 date formats available.
f. Date Input: Use this option to change the date on your WC50.
g. Time Input: Use this option to change the time on your WC50.
h. System Reset: This resets your WC50 to its factory setting. To reset your WC50, select
‘execute’. If you do not want to reset your WC50, select ‘cancel’.
i. FW Upgrade: This option isn’t available at this time.
j. FW version: The submenu contains the version of your rmware.

7Trouble Shooting
A. Clock time:
The Clock time works on a separate AA battery. To set the time on clock, use the setting wheel
above the battery (see diagram; labeled as “Movements Adjust”).
A. Reset:
1. Press the reset button on the back of clock with a thin pointed object (ex paper clip, tooth pick,
etc.).
B. System Reset: See step 5-B-8-h.
