The amplifier section of the MICRO AMP is capable of delivering very
high volume levels to the connected headphones which, if sustained
over long periods, could cause damage to your hearing. Also, the
headphones may be damaged if high output
levels are maintained.
Always use the lowest, most comfortable volume level setting to suit
the particular environment. We cannot be responsible for the

FITTING/REPLACING
THE 9V BATTERIES
To fit or replace the batteries (not
included) first ensure the on/off
switch is set to ‘off’ and then remove
the three front panel control knobs
by pulling them vertically away from
the unit (keep them in a safe place
for re-fitting).
Next, release the main rear panel
case screw by turning in the
direction indicated, as detailed in
diagram 2. Carefully lift away the top
cover and note the layout of the
circuit board / battery locations as
detailed in diagram 1.
If replacing, remove the old batteries
from their respective compartments
and disconnect the snap terminals
taking care not to damage any PCB
components.
Connect new batteries to the snap
terminals observing the correct
polarity and fit them into respective
battery compartments observing the
correct orientation as shown in
diagram 1 (Always use new, high
power Alkaline batteries to ensure
the best performance from your
MICRO AMP).
Carefully re-fit the top cover ensuring
the battery leads are clear of the
case and not trapped by any internal
components. Turn the rear panel
screw in a clock-wise direction until
fully tightened
Re-fit three control knobs by pushing
firmly into place on potentiometer
shafts. The MICRO AMP is now
ready for use.
(this ensures a good
earth contact between the two
case halves which eliminates any
hum or noise pick-up)

SPECIFICATION:
With the MICRO AMP connected to your system as detailed on page 3 and switched on, set
the MICRO AMP‘s ‘EQ’ controls to their centre (click) position and the ‘LEVEL’ control to

corresponding channel on the mixing desk is selected for monitoring. Set the monitor output
control ON YOUR MIXING DESK/AUDIO EQUIPMENT to approximately the mid position. To
hear the monitored audio on the connected headphones, slowly turn up the LEVEL control on
the MICRO AMP until a comfortable listening level is reached.
The High and Low EQ controls on the MICRO AMP can be used to tailor the monitored audio
sound to your individual requirements.
From the centre-click null position, turn this knob clockwise to boost the
LOW frequencies or anti-clockwise to cut them.
From the centre-click null position, turn this knob clockwise to boost the
HIGH frequencies or anti-clockwise to cut them.
Remember to switch off the MICRO AMP’s power when not in use to conserve
