must be carried out by professionally qualied sta. You are advised to take out a maintenance contract. Decient
or incorrect maintenance may compromise the operating safety of the appliance and cause damage to persons,
animals and property. The manufacturer cannot be held liable for these damages.
Explosive and highly ammable substances
Do not use or deposit explosive or highly ammable materials (e.g. petrol, paints, paper) in the area where the
appliance is installed.
TECHNICAL DATA LABEL
Caution!
The label is positioned on the side of the collector.
WORKING ON THE ROOF
Always adopt appropriate safety measures. The following instructions must always be followed for safe installation of the solar system:
• always use anti-fall protection when working on a roof.
• Always observe safety regulations when using a ladder.
• Working on roofs with corrugated/ undulated sheet coverings carries a risk of breaking through.
• Secure and x the work site on steep roofs.
• Keep a safe distance from any air pipes that cross the roof.
• Always wear protective goggles and safety gloves when using an angle grinder.
• Solar collectors can reach a stationary temperature of above 200 °C due to the incident solar heat wave. The ow and return
connections for the solar uid pose a risk of scalds and burns. Always cover the collectors during installation on sunny days.
• Even natural sunlight can cause the solar uid in the collector to vapourise. These vapour leaks can occur at the connections. There is
a risk of possible severe scalding.
Inform yourself and acquaint yourself with the general rules for accident prevention via a professional craftwork association or request
instruction from a professionally qualied technician.

2-GENERAL INFORMATION
WORKING WITH GLASS
The upper part of the collectors are made from glass. Therefore:
• Do not exert mechanical pressure on the glass cover. Splinters can cause cuts.
• Wear protective goggles and safety gloves when installing solar systems to prevent cuts from possible damage to and breakage of
the glass.
Caution!!
The solar system must be lled with RED heat transfer uid before being put into operation. This is necessary even
in summer. During the night temperatures may uctuate to various degrees below zero, caused by the particularly
high performance of the collector. This may lead to the destruction of the solar system!
PACKAGING

7-TYPE OF INSTALLATION
INSTALLATION OF ROOF HOOKS ON STANDARD COVERINGS
1. Pre-assemble the roof hook and its base plate. Do not fully tighten the screws yet.
Remove the tiles to reveal the beams, then t and secure the base plate onto the beam with the torx screws
Always ensure that the roof hook is positioned in the
concave part of the tile.
The base plate must also be xed to a roof strut if there
appear to be problems with the support surfaces.
2. Ensure that the roof hook is approximately 2-3 mm away from the tile. It may be necessary to add a piece of wood to some
tiles to act as a spacer.
Now tighten the roof hook rmly onto the support plate using a 13 mm at wrench or a ring spanner.
3. Grind as much material as necessary from the tile using an angle grinder so that the roof hook is perfectly positioned
underneath the tile. Re-cover the roof with the tile afterwards.

7-TYPE OF INSTALLATION
INSTALLATION OF HOOKS FOR FLAT TILES SOLUTION FOR SPECIAL ROOFS
Expose the beams and tighten the roof hook for at tiles onto the beam using the torx screws.
This kit can generally be used for most types of tile that lie at (slate, beaver-tail tiles etc.).
NOTE!
NEXT STEP: “INSTALLATION OF COLLECTOR SUPPORTING RAILS” CHAPTER 7.
INSTALLATION OF SCREW HOOKS SOLUTION FOR SPECIAL ROOFS
1. Establish the drilling point intervals according to the dimensions of the collector. Drill along a straight line using a lead plumb line.
Only drill using a stable substructure.
2. Pre-drill using a 10 mm bit (beam) then use a 16 mm bit for the tiles (roof covering)
3. Tighten the screw hook onto the pre-drilled beam via the tiles Fasten the seal together with the hexagonal nut with ange. Adjust
the distance of the supporting rail support using the nuts.
4. The screw hook has an 8 mm hexagonal head. This can be tightened with a mandrel for drill tips. This ensures safe installation of
the screw hook.
NOTE!

7-TYPE OF INSTALLATION
INSTALLAZIONE CON KIT SOVRAINCLINAZIONE SOLUZIONE PER TETTI SPECIALI
Telescopic U section to adjust the slope of the collector. The length of U sections can be adjusted telescopically if the collector slope must
be adjusted to be greater or smaller.
Two stainless steel screws (M8x50) and self-locking nuts are used to secure the device.
