ACHTUNG
Allgemein
Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die auf den Geräten angegebene Spannung mit der
lokalen Stromversorgungsspannung übereinstimmt.
Gerät nicht in der Nähe von Kindern benutzen und Stromkabel niemals über Tisch-
und Arbeitsächenkanten herabhängen lassen - Kinder könnten nach dem Strom-
kabel greifen und das Gerät herunterziehen.
Gerät niemals überfüllen - Verbrühungsgefahr durch herausspritzendes heißes
Wasser.
Gerät, Stromkabel und Netzstecker niemals in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten
tauchen.
Zur Vermeidung von Gefahren darf ein beschädigtes Kabel nur vom Hersteller, ei-
ner autorisierten Kundendienstwerkstatt oder vergleichbar qualizierten Personen
repariert werden.
Nichtbeachten der Sicherheitshinweise kann zur Zerstörung des Gerätes führen.
Ohne entsprechende Beaufsichtigung darf das Gerät weder von kleinen Kindern
noch von behinderten Personen benutzt werden.
Das Gerät muss vor dem Zugri kleiner Kinder geschützt aufbewahrt werden - es
gehört nicht in Kinderhände.
Gerät nicht auf schrägen Flächen betreiben.
Vor dem Einschalten unbedingt darauf achten, dass der Deckel korrekt geschlossen ist.
Gerät vor dem Befüllen bzw. vor dem Ausgießen von heißem Wasser von der
Stromversorgung trennen.
Gerät niemals in der Nähe von bzw. auf Herdplatten oder Gasherden abstellen.
Das Gerät ist nur zum Wasserkochen bestimmt - keine anderen Flüssigkeiten darin
erhitzen!
Das Gerät ist ausschließlich für die Verwendung im Haushalt bestimmt.

Jede Berührung des Gerätes mit bloßen Händen vermeiden, solange es benutzt
wird oder nach dem Kochvorgang noch nicht abgekühlt ist. Zur Vermeidung von
Verletzungen Gerät nur an dem isolierten Gri anfassen.
Beim Ausgießen den Kontakt mit dem aus der Ausgießtülle austretenden Dampf
vermeiden - ebenso beim Wiederbefüllen mit dem aus dem geöneten Deckel
austretenden Dampf.
Während des Kochvorganges den Deckel nicht önen.
Vor dem Hochheben des Gerätes bzw. vor dem Wasserausgießen unbedingt darauf
achten, dass das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist.

Erste Inbetriebnahme
Inbetriebnahme
1. Stellen Sie sicher, dass sämtliche Verpackungsteile vom Gerät entfernt
wurden.
2. Befüllen Sie den Wasserkocher bis zur MAX-Markierung im Geräteinneren
mit Wasser.
3. Fahren Sie fort wie unter Kapitel„Inbetriebnahme“ beschrieben.
4. Schütten Sie das Wasser nach dem Aufkochen weg.
5. Wiederholen Sie den Vorgang. Danach ist Ihr Gerät einsatzbereit.
1. Deckel önen
Den Deckel durch Drücken des Önungsknopfes önen.
2. Gerät mit Wasser befüllen
Maximale Befüllmenge von 0,5 l (MAX-Markierung im Inneren des
Wasserkochers) nicht überschreiten.
3. Deckel schließen
Den Deckel ohne Drücken des Önungsknopfes nach unten drü-
cken, bis er mit einem deutlichen Klicken einrastet. Achten Sie darauf,
dass während des Kochvorgangs der Deckel geschlossen bleibt.
4. Betrieb des Gerätes
Nach dem Befüllen mit Wasser das Gerät mit der Stromversorgung
verbinden.
Einschalten:
Ein-, Ausschalter im Gri im oberen Schalterbereich herunter drücken.
Die Kontroll-Leuchte leuchtet auf.
Ausschalten:
Nach Beendigung des Kochvorgangs schaltet sich das Gerät
automatisch ab. Die Kontroll-Leuchte erlischt.
Der Erhitzungsvorgang kann jederzeit manuell unterbrochen oder
fortgesetzt werden, indem der Ein-, Ausschalter im unteren oder
oberen Bereich gedrückt wird.
5. Trennen vom Stromnetz
Das Gerät nach der Benutzung stets von der Stromversorgung
trennen.

HINWEIS
Trockengehschutz: Falls das Gerät versehentlich mit zu wenig oder keinem Was-
ser betrieben wird, verhindert der Trockengehschutz eine Überhitzung, schaltet es
aber nicht komplett ab. Das Gerät muss unbedingt manuell ausgeschaltet werden!
Vor dem Neubefüllen abkühlen lassen (ca 10 Minuten). Nach dem Abkühlen ist das
Gerät wieder betriebsbereit.
Ein erneutes Aufkochen ist erst erst nach entsprechender Abkühlung der Ab-
schaltautomatik möglich. Dies kann je nach Betriebs- und Umgebungstemperatur
mehrere Minuten dauern.
Vor der Reinigung stets den Netzstecker abziehen. Nachdem die Heizschale ab-
gekühlt ist, kann sie mit einem feuchten Tuch abgewischt werden (keine scheu-
ernden oder aggressiven Entkalkungsmittel verwenden!). Kalkablagerungen lassen
sich durch eine Essig-Wasser-Mischung auösen (Haushaltsessig und Wasser zu
gleichen Teilen): Kurz aufkochen und einwirken lassen. Bei hartnäckigen Kalkabla-
gerungen ist der Vorgang zu wiederholen. Während des Entkalkungsvorganges das
Gerät nicht unbeaufsichtigt lassen, da die Essig-Wasser-Mischung möglicherwei-
se überschäumt. Es können auch haushaltsübliche Entkalker verwendet werden.
Bitte befolgen Sie die dazugehörigen Anwendungsanweisungen. Anschließend
sehr gut ausspülen. Nicht mit spitzen Gegenständen am Gerät kratzen. Das Aus-
guss-Sieb ist spülmaschinengeeignet.
Sollte der Wasserkocher nicht ordnungsgemäß funktionieren oder unerwartete
Fehler auftreten, bitten wir Sie,
1. zunächst den entsprechenden Abschnitt der Bedienungsanleitung erneut
sorgfältig durchzulesen.
2. Versuchen Sie bitte anschließend den Fehler mit Hilfe der nachstehenden
Störungstabelle zu nden.
3. Sollte sich der Fehler nicht beheben lassen, bitten wir Sie, sich mit Ihrem Fach-
händler in Verbindung zu setzen.

Make sure the supply voltage in your home ist the same as the voltage marked on
the rating label of the appliance.
Keep children away from the kettle and never let the cord hang down over the
worktop edge - a child could grab it and pull the kettle down.
Never overll - boiling water may splash out.

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its ser-
vice agent or a similarly qualied person in order to avoid a hazard.
Failure to observe these cautions may result in damage to the kettle.
The appliance may not be used by small children or handicapped people without

Do not operate the kettle on an inclined surface.
Make sure the lid is secure before switching the kettle on.
Unplug the kettle before lling or pouring.

Avoid touching the surface of the unit with your bare hands when in use. Always
handle the unit by the insulated carrying handle to protect yourself from injuries.
Avoid contact with steam coming out of the spout area when puring and out of
the lid when relling.

Initial operation
Operation
1. Make sure that all packaging was removed from the device.
2. Fill the kettle with water up to the MAX-marking on the inside of the
device.
3. Continue as described in chapter„Usage of kettle“.
4. After boiling, pour away the water.
5. Repeat the procedure. Then your device is ready for operation.
1. Open the lid
Open the lid by pressing the opening button.
2. Filling the kettle
Do not exceed the maximum ll level of 0.5 l (MAX marking inside the
kettle).
3. Close the lid
Push down the lid without pressing the opening button until it
snaps into place with a click. Check whether the lid is closed.
4. Operating the appliance
Connect to power after lling the device with water.
Switch on:
Press down the on/o switch in the handle in the upper switch area.
The operating light is on.
Switch o:
Your kettle will boil and switch o automatically. The operating light
goes out.
The heating can be interrupted manually at any time or continued by
pressing the on/o switch in the upper lower area.
5. Disconnecting from the power supply
Always unplug the kettle after use.

Cleaning and attendance
ATTENTION
Drying protection: In case your device is in operation with too little or no water,
the drying protection prevents overheating, but doesn´t turn it o completely. The
device must be turned o manually by all means! Let it cool down (10 mins) before
relling. After cooling down the device is ready for operation.
Renewed boiling becomes possible only after the automatic switcho mecha-
nism has cooled down suciently. This may take a couple of minutes, depending
on the operating and surrounding temperatures.
Always unplug rst. When the heating bowl has cooled o, it can be wiped out
with a damp cloth. For decalcifying the appliance use commercially available uid
Decalciers. Follow the respective instructions for use! Limescale can also be dissol-
ved by a vinegar-water solution (equal parts household vinegar and water) which
is brought to boil briey. If there is a lot of limescale, the above mentioned process
must be repeated. Do not leave the heating bowl unattended as the vinegar-water
mixture can foam over. Leave the solution in the heating bowl for a few moments
longer after brief boiling and then pour it out. Wipe out the heating bowl after the
de-calcifying, an repeat the evaporation process with clean water to neutralize the
odor of vinegar. Do not use strong de-calciers or sourcing agents nor scratch with
pointed objects. The spout drainage is dishwasher safe.
Should the kettle not be functioning properly or should unexpected malfunctio-
ning occur, we kindly ask you to:
1. First thoroughly read the respective section of the instruction
manual once again.
2. Afterwards please try to nd the error with the help of the following mal
function chart.
3. Should you not be able to solve the problem, we kindly ask you to contact
your specialist dealer.

ATTENTION
Généralités
Le sélecteur de tension dans le fond de l’appareil doit être réglé correctement.
Ne pas se servir de l’appareil à proximité d’enfants et ne jamais laisser pendre le
cordon par-dessus le bord d’une table ou d’un plan de travail – Un enfant pourrait
se saisir du cordon et tirer sur l’appareil.
Ne jamais remplir excessivement la bouilloire – Risques d’ébouillantage par les
éventu elles projections d’eau bouillante.
Ne jamais plonger l’appareil, ni son cordon et son connecteur dans de l’eau ou dans
un autre liquide.
Pour éviter les dangers, un cordon détérioré ne devra être réparé que par le fabri-
cant, dans un atelier de S.A.V. agréé ou encore par une personne présentant une
qualication similaire.
Le non-respect des consignes de sécurité peut entraîner la destruction de l‘appareil.
L’appareil ne devra pas être utilisé par de jeunes enfants ni par des personnes han-

On évitera tout contact à mains nues, tant que l’appareil est en service ou tant qu’il
n’a pas encore refroidi après avoir servi. Pour éviter de se blesser, saisir l’appareil
uniquement par la poignée isolante.
Lorsqu’on verse l’eau, éviter le contact avec la vapeur qui s’échappe du bec ver-
seur – de même pour un nouveau remplissage, lorsque la vapeur s’échappe du
couvercle ouvert.
Ne pas ouvrir le couvercle pendant qu’on porte l’eau à ébullition.
Avant de soulever l’appareil ou de déverser l’eau, s’assurer impérativement que l’ap-
pareil est déclenché.

première mise en service
Mise en service
1. Assurez-vous que toutes les pièces d‘emballage de l‘appareil ont été
enlevées.
2. Remplissez la bouilloire d‘eau jusqu‘au niveau de marquage MAX. à l‘intéri-
eur de l‘appareil.
3. Poursuivez comme décrit dans le chapitre « Mise en service ».
4. Jetez l‘eau après l‘ébullition.
5. Répétez le processus. Votre appareil est alors prêt à l‘emploi.
1. Ouvrir le couvercle
Ouvrir le couvercle en appuyant sur le bouton d‘ouverture.
2. Remplir l‘appareil d‘eau
Ne pas dépasser la capacité de remplissage maximale de 0,5 l (niveau
de marquage MAX. à l‘intérieur de la bouilloire).
3. Fermer le couvercle
Presser le couvercle vers le bas sans appuyer sur le bouton d‘ou-
verture jusqu‘à ce qu‘il s‘enclenche avec un clic nettement audible.
Veillez à ce que le couvercle reste fermé pendant le processus de
chauage.
4. Fonctionnement de l‘appareil
Raccorder l‘appareil avec l‘alimentation électrique après le remplissa-
ge de l‘eau.
Mise en marche :
Presser vers le bas l‘interrupteur marche - arrêt dans la poignée sur la
partie supérieure. Le voyant de contrôle du fonctionnement s‘allume.
Arrêt :
L‘appareil s‘arrête automatiquement à la n du processus d‘ébullition.
Le voyant de contrôle du fonctionnement s‘éteint.
Le processus de chauage peut être interrompu ou poursuivi ma-
nuellement à tout moment en appuyant sur la partie inférieure ou
supérieure de l‘interrupteur.
5. Coupure du réseau électrique
Toujours couper l‘appareil de l‘alimentation électrique après
utilisation.

ATTENTION
Protection contre le fonctionnement à sec : Dans le cas où l‘appareil est utilisé
involontairement avec un niveau de remplissage trop faible ou à sec, la protection
contre la marche à sec évite une surchaue, mais ne l‘arrête pas complètement.
L‘appareil doit être impérativement arrêté manuellement !
Laisser refroidir (env. 10 minutes) avant un nouveau remplissage. L‘appareil est à
nouveau prêt au fonctionnement après le refroidissement.
Une nouvelle mise en ébullition n‘est possible qu‘après un refroidissement
correspondant à l‘arrêt automatique. Cela peut durer plusieurs minutes selon la
température de fonctionnement et ambiante.
Toujours débrancher l’appareil avant le nettoyage. Une fois la cuvette chauante
refroidie, on pourra l’essuyer avec un chion humide (ne pas employer de produits
détartrants à récurer ou agressifs!). Les dépôts calcaires dans la cuvette se dissolvent
à l’aide d’un mélange de vinaigre et d’eau (vinaigre de ménage et eau dans les
mêmes proportions), que l’on porte brièvement à ébullition. Dans le cas de dépôts
calcaires tenaces, répéter la procédure. Durant les opérations de détartrage, ne pas
le laisser sans surveillance, le mélange de vinaigre et d’eau étant susceptible de
mousser de déborder. Après l’avoir portée à ébullition, laisser la solution quelques
minutes dans l’appareil avant de la déverser. Après le détartrage, essuyer la cuvette
chauante ou procéder à une vaporisation avec de l’eau claire pour éliminer l’odeur
de vinaigre. Ne pas employer de produit de détartrage ou de nettoyage agressif.
Ne pas gratter la surface de l’appareil avec un objet pointu. Filtre c‘est adapté au
lave-vaisselle.
Si le appareil ne fonctionnent pas correctement, ou bien si des erreurs impondérab-
les apparaissent:
1. prière de reconsulter d’abord avec soin le mode d’emploi au paragraphe
correspondant.
2. Essayer ensuite de résoudre le problème à l’aide du tableau des pannes
suivant.
3. Si vous n’arrivez pas à résoudre la panne, prière de vous adresser à un re-
veneur spécialisé.
