COLONNA PER BARRIERE ADMIRAL/VISION/JANUS
GENERALITÀ
Il presente foglio tecnico illustra le operazioni necessarie per:
Il corretto montaggio delle barriere, ADMIRAL, VISION e JANUS all’interno delle colonne FMC per
fissaggio a pavimento.
L’assemblaggio della colonna FMC-B (o FMC-BR) con la base FMC-CB/FMC-CBL.
Il corretto allineamento tra proiettore e ricevitore (con o senza specchi).
Per indicazioni più dettagliate sul funzionamento delle barriere fare riferimento al manuale fornito con
la barriera stessa.
ASSEMBLAGGIO CON PIASTRA FMC-CB/FMC-CBL (FIGURA 1)
Fissare al terreno la base per colonna FMC-CB/FMC-CBL, (rif. foglio istruzioni della base).
N.B. Al fine di ottenere un corretto allineamento, verificare che la superficie superiore
della base sia perfettamente in piano (utilizzando una livella a bolla). In caso contrario
agire sui tre dadi esagonali B (figura 4) fino a raggiungere la perfetta planarità (MASSIMA
REGOLAZIONE CONSENTITA: 10mm). Nel caso in cui il terreno non sia livellato entro i
10mm, spianare o spessorare adeguatamente.
Svitare le tre viti a brugola e sfilare le rondelle.
Assemblare la colonna alla base centrando la flangia di rotazione della colonna FMC-B con le guide
presenti sulla piastra superiore della base per colonne FMC-CB/FMC-CBL.
Bloccare la colonna con le rondelle e le brugole.

Asportare il coperchio superiore (con livella) dalla colonna;
Predisporre neifori della colonna le viti(A) con le piastrine (B) , fig.2 passo1;
Avvitare le viti con le piastrine provvisoriamente (ungiro di vite) fig.2 passo2;
Alloggiare la barriera all’interno della colonna inserendola dall’alto, facendo in modo che tutte le
piastrine precedentemente predisposte, entrino nella scanalatura della barriera, fig.2 passo3;
Raggiunta la posizione desiderata, (tabella 1) serrare le viti che bloccheranno la barriera.
Riposizionare il coperchio sulla parte superiore della colonna.

L’esatta posizione della barriera (distanza H del primo raggio dal terreno) viene
indicata nella seguente tabella (rif. Normativa Europea EN999).

ALLINEAMENTO (figura 4)
Dopo aver assemblato le barriere alle colonne ed averle assicurate al terreno, l’ultima operazione da
compiere è quella di allineamento tra proiettore e ricevitore. Le operazioni sono le seguenti:
Verificare che la colonna sia esattamente perpendicolare al piano di appoggio; per tale controllo si
consiglia di utilizzare una livella a bolla posta sul coperchio superiore della colonna (A). Le
regolazioni di livellamento verranno effettuate agendo sui tre dadi esagonali (B).
Alimentare la barriera di sicurezza (rif. manuale della barriera stessa).
Realizzare il corretto allineamento tra TX e RX allentando le tre viti a brugola (C) che bloccano la
flangia di rotazione, ruotare le due colonne fino ad ottenere l’accensione dei led di segnalazione
della barriera (rif. manuale della barriera stessa).

RACCORDO PASSACAVO (COLONNE FMC-BR) (figura 5)
Al termine del montaggio, far passare il cavo della barriera (che termina con il connettore femmina volante)
attraverso il raccordo plastico PG11 predisposto nella colonna (figura 5).

COLUMN FOR ADMIRAL/VISION/JANUS LIGHT CURTAINS
GENERAL
These mounting instructions contain information about:
The correct mounting of the light curtains ADMIRAL, VISION and JANUS inside the FMC or
FMC-BR columns.
The assembly of the FMC or FMC-BR stand for mounting on the FMC-CB/FMC-CBL stand bottom.
The correct mounting of emitters and receives (with our without mirror).
Please find detailed information about the function of the light curtains / light grids in the relevant
mounting and wiring instructions.
MOUNTING ON THE FMC-CB/FMC-CBL STAND BOTTOM (Fig. 1)
Mount the FMC-CB/FMC-CBL stand bottom on the floor (see mounting instruction for stand bottom).
Please note:
For a correct alignment, please verify that the stand bottom upper surface is even and
horizontal (using a circular spirit level.)
To operate the regulation, act on the three hexagonal nuts B (fig.4) until the perfect
levelness is reached. (Maximum adjustment: 10mm).
If the ground roughness is over 10mm, flush it adequately.
Loosen the three allen screws and remove the washers.
Assembly the column to the stand bottom, centering the FMC-B column rotation flange with the guides of
the FMC-CB/FMC-CBL stand bottom upper plate.
Fix the column tightening the three allen screws and the washers.

MOUNTING OF ADMIRAL/VISION/JANUS LIGHT CURTAINS
Remove the cover (with spirit level) from the top of the column;
Insert the allen screws (A) in the holes of the column fig.2 step 1;
Turn the allen screws once to the tapped metal plates(B) fig.2 step 2;
Insert the barrier from the top into the column, (make sure that allthe tapped metal plates slide in the slot on
the back of the barrier, fig.2 step 3);
When correct position achieved, (see table 1) lock the allen screws to fix the barrier.
Fix the cover on the top of the column.

ALIGNMENT OF EMITTER AND RECEIVER (Fig. 4)
The last operation you have to perform is the emitter / receiver alignment.
Ensure that the stands of emitter and receiver are in a vertical position (placing a spirit level (A) on
the top end of each stand). Perform leveling fine adjustments by means of the hexagonal nuts of the
stand bottom (B).
Connect the light curtain / the light grid. (ref. Curtain technical manual).
For an exact alignment of emitter and receiver, loosen the three allen screws (C) that fix the rotation
flange and rotate the two columns until the barrier signal LEDS light on (ref. Technical manual).

FITTING FOR CABLE (COLUMN FMC-BR) (Fig. 5)
Insert the cable (terminating with the female connector) in the PG11 plastic fitting, housed in the
column (figure 5).
