1. Use template to mark the cut-pattern on
the duct surface. It is suggested to align
the template centered in the ductwork.
2. Use a hole saw to make a 1.25-inch
hole on the duct surface.
Ensure there is enough duct
depth (minimum 14 inches)
before proceeding with the
installation.

3. Install the wall plate to the duct
surface along with the gasket using
the 4 self-threaded screws where
actual template mark was drawn.
Recommended mounting torque for
the screws is 0.4 ~ 0.5 N-m
The direction of the mounting should
match the airflow direction in the
ductwork as per the marking given on
the wall plate.

TESTED AND
EFFECTIVE
Testing conducted by Aerosol Research and Engineering Laboratories, Inc., an independent
GLP-compliant lab, indicate UVantage PLUS
™
was effective at reducing 99.99% of T1 and
MS2 bacteriophages from room air when used as directed. These species are recognized
surrogates: T1, a non-enveloped double-stranded DNA virus, is a common surrogate human
pathogens like Cryptosporidium and MS2, a single-stranded RNA virus, is routinely used as
a surrogate for pathogenic RNA viruses such as Influenza and also serves as a tentative
surrogate for SARS-CoV-2.
