7 –TROUBLESHOOTING:
7.1
No power ON
:
Verify if the power cord is connected to the monitor.
Make sure that power cord is getting 24Vdc. Verify if the system fuse or the monitor fuse is
blown.
7.2 No Image:
Verify the video inputs cables are connected correctly.
In most of the cases, there is a video signal distributor that receives the image from the DVD
(or other video source) and retransmits the image to the monitors. Verify the video
connections and make sure the power cord is getting 24Vdc.
8 –OPERATION SPECIFICATIONS:
The monitor has an automatic opening system, managed by the presence/absence of video
signal.
When the video source is connected, the monitor opens automatically and in the back of the
screen, two blinking amber LEDs are warning passengers that the monitor is opening. When
the opening cycle finishes, the LEDs remain ON standing out the monitor and getting the
passengers attention that are walking through the bus aisle preventing possible accidents.
When the video source is disconnected, the monitor closes automatically. During this cycle,
the LEDs blink and warn the passengers that the monitor is closing. When the monitor is
closed and locked, the LEDs turned OFF.
When the screen opening is obstructed, the monitor returns to its original state (Closed) and
the opening cycle is interrupted. In this case, disconnect the system power and reconnect it
again causing the monitor restarts the opening cycle again.
If the monitor is manually closed, the screen returns to an opening state when the lock is
released. If this happens four times, the monitor enters in Protection mode and stays in
standby. In this case, disconnect the system power and reconnect it again causing the
monitor restarts the opening/closing cycle again.
When the screen closing is obstructed, the monitor returns to its original state (Open). If this
happens four times in a row, the monitor enters in Protection mode and stays in standby. In
this case, disconnect the system power and reconnect it again causing the monitor restarts
the closing cycle again.

GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS
:
9.1 Application:
This product was developed using Embedded Technology principles, guaranteeing all its
components can work in environments with constant vibrations without affect the image
quality or causing damage the device.
The screens have polycarbonate protection acting as an antiglare agent and allowing best
image visualization during the sunlight.
In cases when the monitor needs to be disconnected (Closed) during the vehicle’s
operation, there is a lock on the screen that prevents the monitor opens, even if the monitor
is under constant vibrations. This lock will be only released when video signal is received.
9.2 Technology:
The monitors manufactured by REI of Brazil use TFT technology, allowing best image
quality of the LCD monitors.
Backlight LED technology guarantees less power consumption, high contrast, more
brightness, and thin screens reducing the weight and improving the heat dissipation.
9.3 Identification:
All the devices have an identification label with: Product code, serial number, manufacturing
lot, manufacturing week and manufacturing year. This information is useful to track the
device, the year and manufacturing model and identify the components in case of requiring
replacement parts.
This manual suits for next models
