Safety Notes
General Safety Notes
•All equipment undergoes final inspection and testing before leaving our factory. However,
if equipment is damaged during shipping or through any other circumstances, it must not
be used in service. Please check the device regularly for damages. Damaged parts
should be replaced immediately.
•All power/air/water/gas sources should be rated for the demands of the device as listed in
the technical data sheets. Maximum ratings must not be exceeded. All VDE (Verein
Deutscher Elektro-Ingenieure) standards should be followed. Equipment should be
grounded according to standards.
•Adherence to valid regulations regarding necessary checks (e.g. according to Accident
Prevention & Insurance or electrical equipment ) is exclusively taken over by the
buyer/user of this product.
•This device has been designated to be used only for its intended purpose. All other
applications must be prohibited for safety reasons as otherwise the manufacturer’s
warranty expires.
•The device should be set-up in a clean, well-ventilated room, if necessary under a hood.
•Supporting surfaces should be straight, flat and adequately stable.
•Don’t place anything on top of the machine.
•To avoid injury, appropriate protection should be worn (e.g. gloves, safety glasses, safety
shoes, hearing protection etc.)
•If the machine is defective or working improperly it must be taken out of service. In case
of further use of the machine the owner will be held responsible for any consequential
damage.
•To prevent accidents from water, fire or explosion, all power/air/water/gas sources should
be turned off after working hours and during breaks, and secured against unauthorized
access.
•When carrying out maintenance works or repairs or when opening the device always turn
off the main power switch and unplug the whole unit.
•Repairs should be carried out only by the manufacturer or by qualified and certified
personnel appointed according to chapter 7 –warranty.
•In case of leaking water out of housing or tank shut down device and call service.
•Keep the device clean and dry.
•Check all hose joints for tightness, if necessary tighten hose clamps.

9
Specific Safety Instructions
Attention:
•Keep a minimum safe distance of 100 cm from the safety valve (back) to traffic areas
or workplaces –danger of scalding.
•Ground yourself by touching the steam gun handle (3) and the contact screw (15).
Alternatively lay your hand flat on the steam cleaner’s housing. (Gases or fluids flowing
through pipes generate static electricity. For safety reasons static electricity is
discharged during evaporation by the contact screw at the steam gun’s handle. If the
user gets an electric shock when touching the device or the steam gun the person was
exposed to static electricity before. The combination of floor covering and shoe soles is
often the reason, falling outside the sphere of influence of the steam cleaner’s
manufacturer)
•We recommend to fill this device only with decalcified or distilled water (damage due to
limescale deposits is not covered by warranty). Decalcification is depending on water
hardness: every one or two weeks. It’s not necessary when always using distilled water
(we recommend to use our water softening device DELIMER COMFORT –see „Special
accessories“).
•The steam jet is only to be aimed at objects to be cleaned, never at living beings.
•Only clean appropriate objects, if necessary first samples or test on an inconspicuous
area.
•The tank cap (6) may only be opened when the device isn’t under pressure.
•The device must not be filled if the heater is hot and the tank is empty (danger of
scalding).
•The device should be filled up every morning when it’s in a cold state, protecting the heat
aggregates as well as the gaskets. An unwanted interruption of operation is also avoided.
•In case of leaking hot water out of the housing or tank further use of the device is
prohibited (see chapter 5: Troubleshooting).
•Gases or fluids flowing through closed tubes or hoses generate static electricity. It should
be continuously discharged. If static electricity is noticeable before using the steam gun,
the user was exposed to static electricity before (carpets, shoes).
•Keep a safe distance.

Operation
Chronological run of operation
1. Use the device only when it’s filled with water. (Pay attention to safety notes in chapter
2!) Turn on water supply and fill the TRONADA with 2 litres of water (manually). Turn on
the DELIMER COMFORT; if used.
2. Attach the required steam nozzle or brush (21 / 23 / 24) and be sure it is securely
attached during steam cleaning.
3. Turn the TRONADA on with the main switch (2). Turn heating control (5) on (after approx.
15 min. full pressure is reached and the lamp (7) goes out).
4. For dry steam withdrawal activate steam gun switch (18).
5. Device needs refilling: Control lamp (7) shines, automatic refilling operation is performed.
(Refer to chapter 4 operating instructions, item 1). Control lamp is automatically switched
off after refilling.
6. For nozzle change use the special tool (22) when the nozzle (23 / 24) is too hot or the
steam brush has been attached too tight. Slide the tool (22) with its round opening over
the steam nozzle or brush (23 / 24), gently press together and detach the nozzle or
brush. When attaching another nozzle or brush be sure it is securely attached during
steam cleaning.
Caution:
The metal nozzles (23 / 24) can become very hot during operation. Therefore please
use the special tool (22) for nozzle change.
Decalcifying the device when not using distilled water
1. Turn off power switch (2).
2. Let the machine cool down and empty the tank.
3. Fill in decalcifying agent. (Note: Use decalcifying agent only for its intended purpose and
respect the manufacturer’s instructions!)
4. Close the tank cap (6).
5. Turn power switch (2) on. As soon as pressure has reached approx. 1 bar (control by
pressure gauge (8)), turn off the heating with switch (5). For decalcifying the steam valve
place the device several times on its left side for a short period and activate the dry
steam switch (18). Then put it in an upright position and leave the decalcifying product to
take effect for some time.
6. Let the device cool down. Let the steam out until pressure is „0“ and empty the tank. For
easy emptying, use the optional decalcifying pump (manual operation).

12
Troubleshooting
Device cannot be switched on.
a. Check fuse of the building.
b. Check device’s fuse.
Device’s fuse has blown.
→Press in device’s fuse (12) offering

Tank cap (6) can hardly be opened.
Ventilate tank by activating dry steam
switch (18).
Tank cap (6) untight.
→Replace cap or seal.
No steam.
Device might be calcified or the valve
blocked →Decalcify or use distilled water.
No steam pressure (Lamp of the heating
switch (5) goes out.)
