Getting Started
LunchEAZE is an automatic, self-heated Lunchbox. Food
goes in the provided stainless steel food container, and the
base will heat your food according to your schedule.
1. Pack your food. Use the provided stainless steel
container, and make sure the lid is closed tight. Insert it
into the LunchEAZE base, and latch the top.
2. Set the clock. When you first turn on LunchEAZE, it will
prompt you to set the time of day. This only has to be
done the first time. Double-check the AM/PM!
3. Set a meal time. Use the “Set Meal Time” option (or the
mobile app) to tell LunchEAZE when you’d like to eat.
Heat auto-starts 2 hours prior to this. LunchEAZE
remembers your set mealtime the next day, until you
change it. Leave LunchEAZE powered ON for it to auto-
start. Look for the green LED on the front face.
4. Enjoy your meal. LunchEAZE will have your food hot and
ready by your mealtime. It’ll also stay on to keep your
food hot while you eat.
Visit LunchEAZE.com/manual for mobile app instructions

User Guide: Loading Food
Pack food into the stainless
steel container. All 4 clasps
on its lid must be closed
securely, and the whole
container must be latched
down into LunchEAZE.
Lower the container into the
base, and make sure both
latches click down into
place, securing the
container’s lid tightly.
Always keep the lid closed
until you’re ready to eat.

User Guide: Heating Mode
•When heating, LunchEAZE displays the temperature of
the hotplate and the time the heating began. You may
hear a periodic “click” from the unit– this is normal.
•CAUTION: HEATING SURFACES WILL NOW BE HIGH
TEMPERATURE. USE CAUTION WHEN HANDLING.
•The hotplate temperature reading doesn’t reflect the
exact temperature of your food. Typically the hotplate
is slightly hotter than the food itself.
•LuchEAZE will continue to heat while you eat your
food, so that it remains hot. Leave the food container
inserted and your food will remain hot.
•If no food is present, LunchEAZE will reach
temperature limits, and will shut itself off within 30
minutes.

Troubleshooting
For more details, visit
Luncheaze.com/troubleshooting
•Bluetooth won’t connect
•Check the Bluetooth icon on the screen. If it’s blue, it’s already
connected to something and won’t be found by the app.
•Minimizing your app sometimes leaves the unit connected in the
background, and will not connect again. Completely close out the
app to disconnect fully, or restart the unit.
•If the Bluetooth icon is red, LunchEAZE should be ready to
connect. Check to see that your phone’s Bluetooth is on. ONLY try
to connect through the LunchEAZE app, not your Bluetooth menu.
•My LunchEAZE’s screen is frozen or white, and isn’t responding
•Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds, and release. The
unit should shut off. Try turning on again.
•If holding the power button for 10 seconds doesn’t turn the unit
off, then you can remove the battery. Visit
luncheaze.com/troubleshooting for more info.
•My food isn’t hot enough
•Check that the unit was actually heating up by looking for the
HEAT LED on the front of the unit, and for the display to indicate
heating mode. Test this feature with the “Heat Now” option.
•Ensure that your food container is FLAT against the hot plate, and
that it is securely latched in. Clean the bottom of the food
container and heat plate to ensure good contact.
•Use the insulated bag to increase heat.
•Carefully check both the Current Time and the Heat Start Time
(top left and top right of the screen). Ensure that both times are
correct (check AM and PM!)
•for 30 minutes while powered down and unplugged.
•My unit isn’t charging fully, or it is turning off too early.
•Plug the charger in and check for a small + sign to appear next to
the battery icon on screen. If it does not appear, your charger may
be damaged.
•If the charger is okay, you’ll need to try resetting the battery. Visit
luncheaze.com/troubleshooting for details
Helpful Tips
•Food not hot enough?
•LunchEAZE heats from the bottom up. We recommend
putting proteins on the bottom, and lighter items like
vegetables or rice on top.
•Use the insulated bag! The insulation traps the heat,
and increases the temperature of the food.
•Frozen Food?
•LunchEAZE can handle frozen foods, but for best results
let them defrost in the fridge overnight, or pack them
with a few hours before heating begins.
•Food too hot?
•Use the heat setting option to turn down the maximum
heat. Set it once and your setting will be saved until you
change it again.
•Want two meals?
•The LunchEAZE battery is designed to handle one meal,
but if you want two in a day, we made the battery
replaceable. Or, leave your LunchEAZE plugged in and
battery won’t be depleted.
•Convenience features:
•LunchEAZE remembers your set mealtime. Just turn it
on and it’ll be ready to go with yesterday’s settings.
•Leave your food container inside LunchEAZE while you
eat–LunchEAZE will actively keep your food hot while
you eat.
•Customize your LunchEAZE :
•Using the free mobile app (Android or iOS), you can
customize the name and message that appears on your
LunchEAZE.

•Battery Replacement:
•LunchEAZE’s battery is user replacable.
•To do so, remove the 2 screws on the bottom
of the unit, and remove the battery cover.
•Unplug both connections to the battery, and
remove the battery.
•Place a new battery in the chamber, and
connect both connections
•BOTH must be connected, and each
can be connected to either of the 2
connectors on the battery
interchangeably.
FAQ
•Factory Reset: Hold the POWER button until the timer
reaches 0. Keep holding POWER and now hold ENTER.
The screen will turn off, and you can let go of the
buttons. The unit will have its settings reset.
•Battery: The battery lasts for 2.5 hours of heating (1
meal), charges in 3 hours, and can be charged while
the device is heating (charging will take longer in this
case).
•Bluetooth: LunchEAZE uses Bluetooth 4.0, or
“Bluetooth Low Energy” (BLE). If your phone is newer
than 2011, it likely supports it.
•App: The app IS NOT necessary to use LunchEAZE. It
adds the ability to rename and leave a message, and
makes setup more convenient, but LunchEAZE’s timer
and heating features can be used in manual mode.
•Cleaning: LunchEAZE’s main body is not waterproof.
Clean spills with a damp cloth. The food container,
however, is totally dishwasher safe.
•Food Types: LunchEAZE can handle any type of food,
including soups, whether or not they’re frozen. FOR
BEST RESULTS, let frozen food defrost slightly in the
fridge the night before.
•Food Storage: LunchEAZE does not refrigerate your
food, although the insulated bag helps control
temperatures. We do not recommend keeping
perishable foods in LunchEAZE for long periods of time.
•Food Temperature: LunchEAZE heats to a maximum of
220°F
