Cleaning Your Trimmer
Your nose and ear trimmer is designed to give you years of com-
fortable use. To ensure that you get optimal performance from
your trimmer, follow these simple cleaning and lubricating tips:
After each use, brush or blow accumulated hair from the
cutting unit.
Rinsing Your Trimmer
■ Your Remington®trimmer can be rinsed with cool or warm
water. Just hold the unit's head under the faucet - it is not
necessary to remove the head first. Do not use hot water.
■ If the trimmer needs additional cleaning, the cutting head
can be removed by turning it 1/4 inch counterclockwise and
pulling it off. Then blow out the accumulated hair or rinses it
more thoroughly under running water.
■ Afterward, shake excess water from the cutter head, making
sure that all parts are held together.
■ Replace the head in the same position as it was removed,
turning it 1/4 inch clockwise until it locks into place
Lubricating the cutters
■ After rinsing the unit, apply a drop or two of mineral oil or
baby oil to the cutting teeth.
■ Don’t apply too much oil, or it may spray.
■ Finally, point the trimmer down and away from you, and turn
it on. This spreads the oil evenly and expels any excess.
