IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Warning: When the hair dryer is used in a bathroom, unplug it
after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even
when the hair dryer is switched off.
When using electrical appliances, especially when children are
present, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:

DANGER – As with most electrical appliances, electrical parts are
electrically live even when the switch is off.
To reduce the risk of death by electric shock:
• Always unplug it immediately after using.
• Do not place or store an appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a
bath or sink.
• Do not use while bathing.
• Do not place or drop into water or other liquid.
• If an appliance falls into water, “unplug it” immediately.
Do not reach into the water.
For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD)
with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA is advisable in
the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your electrical contractor
for advice.

responsible for their safety. This appliance is not a toy.
Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.

• Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this
manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by Remington.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
its service agents or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a
hazard.
• Never block the air openings of this hair dryer or place it on a soft
surface, such as a bed or couch, where the air openings may become
blocked. Keep the air openings free of lint, fluff and hair.
• Do not use on people who are sleeping.
• Never drop or insert any object into any opening of this appliance.
• Do not use outdoors or where aerosol (spray) products are being used
or where oxygen is being administered.
• Do not direct hot air towards the eyes or other heat sensitive areas.
• Attachments, where provided, may be hot during and after use. Allow
them to cool before handling.
• When using the appliance, keep your hair away from the air inlet grille.
Do not let your hair get drawn into the appliance.

BASIC HAIR CARE INSTRUCTIONS
For optimal results, shampoo and condition your hair prior to styling and
towel dry to remove excess moisture.
Note: This hair dryer is not suitable for use on synthetic wigs or hair
extensions.
ULTIMATE CERAMIC TECHNOLOGY
The PROLUXE Salon Hair Dryer features Ultimate Ceramic to deliver
superior even heat distribution for a smooth salon finish.
IONIC CONDITIONING TECHNOLOGY
The PROLUXE Salon Hair Dryer emits 90% more negative ions* which
neutralize static and prevent flyaway hair. This allows the hair cuticle to lie
flat which reduces static and frizz and creates a healthy shine, giving your
hair a more nourished look and silky smooth finish.
STYLE SHOT
This hair dryer is equipped with a PROheat style shot button that is used to
deliver the optimum level of heat when you’re styling for salon results that
last 24 hours**. Move the switch to the left to turn the style shot function
on to create styles that last.
TRUE COOL SHOT
This hair dryer is equipped with a true cool shot button that is used to hold
your hairstyle. Move the switch to the right to rapidly cool and hold your
hair once it has been styled.
QUICK DRYING
Select the high heat and high speed setting and roughly dry hair. Use a
round brush or your hand to shake out excess moisture whilst drying and
keep the dryer in constant motion.
STRAIGHTENING
Select the high heat and high speed setting and roughly dry the hair.
When the hair is nearly dry, attach the styling concentrator nozzle (which
minimises frizz) and reduce the heat/speed. Section the hair according to
thickness and begin with straightening bottom layers first. Using a round
brush, follow the brush with the concentrator from above, while slowly
gliding down each section of hair from roots to tips. Once the bottom layers
have been straightened, then straighten the mid-section and complete by
straightening the top layers.
