Collegare il lo nero (-) al terminale negavo (-) del
caricabaerie e il lo rosso (+) al terminale posivo (+).

By carefully selecng the installaon locaon, you ensure
the structural durability of the installaon and minimize the
noise generated by the rotaon of the hydrogenerator.
Support the installaon from the inside of the transom with
a reinforcement plate (reinforcement plate is not included in
the sales package) and use the rubber parts included in the
sales package to absorb the sound. The thickness and the
size of the reinforcement plate depends on the installaon
locaon and the strength of the transom.

Note! Take special care when connecng the charger to
a baery. Improperly connected cables can damage the
device!
Connect the black(-) wire to the minus(-) terminal of the
charger and the red (+) wire to the plus(+) terminal.
To achieve the best eciency, the wires should be as short
as possible and thick enough. If the cable needs to be
extended, do it primarily by extending the cable from the
charger to the baeries.

• You don't need to turn o or unplug the device while
sailing because the hydrogenerator compensates for the
electricity used by the boat's electrical equipment.
• The charger ensures the right charging sequence for the
baery, so it cannot be overcharged.
• Do not exceed the maximum allowable speed marked on
the hydrogenerator. If the boat goes even momentarily
over the maximum speed, we recommend installing the
Remoran PR-01 Safety relay.
• Rinse the outboard unit with fresh water from me
to me to prevent the salt in the seawater from

• Drill and both 8 mm and 22 mm bits
• Screwdrivers
• Open-ended wrench or sleeve (size 13 mm)
• Allen key (size 4 mm)
• Non è necessario spegnere o scollegare il disposivo
durante la navigazione perché l’idrogeneratore compensa
l’energia elerica ulizzata dalle apparecchiature
eleriche dell’imbarcazione.
• Il caricabaerie garansce la correa sequenza di ricarica
della baeria, in modo che non venga sovraccaricata.
• Non superare la velocità massima consenta
indicata sull'idrogeneratore. Se la barca supera anche
momentaneamente la velocità massima, si consiglia di
installare il relè di protezione Remoran PR-01.
• Sciacquare di tanto in tanto il disposivo fuoribordo con
acqua dolce per evitare che il sale presente nell'acqua di
mare si accumuli nelle sue struure.
• Oltre alla velocità dell'imbarcazione, la resa energeca
dipende dalla posizione del fuoribordo installato e dalla
pulizia della turbina.
Accessori necessari per l'installazione in aggiunta a quanto
fornito:
• Sigillante adao all'uso marino
• Cavi di ricarica della baeria (nero e rosso) Area della

L'idrogeneratore Remoran Wave 3 è progeato con materiali idonei per ridurre al
minimo la corrosione galvanica. Con un'installazione e un ulizzo accura è possibile
prevenire ulteriormente la corrosione.
• Assicurarsi che non vi siano corren di dispersione o dierenze di potenziale
nell'acqua provenien da altri disposivi presen sull'imbarcazione che possano
accelerare la corrosione.
• Evitare di installare l'idrogeneratore nelle immediate vicinanze dei tubi di scarico.
• Quando l'imbarcazione o le imbarcazioni vicine sono collegate alla presa di
corrente da terra, sollevare l'idrogeneratore fuori dall'acqua per evitare la
corrosione causata da possibili corren di dispersione.
• Non collegare il lo di messa a terra (giallo-verde) del cavo del Generatore se non

Il cavo di messa a terra deve essere collegato ad un anodo di protezione in alluminio
installato sul fondo dell'imbarcazione vicino allo specchio di poppa. La connessione
crea un circuito di corrente galvanica tra le par metalliche del generatore e l'anodo.
Ecco perché è molto importante che l'anodo sia del po giusto. Se l'anodo è del po
sbagliato, o il cavo è collegato, ad esempio, alla massa elerica dell'imbarcazione o al
motore, il Generatore potrebbe essere esposto a corrosione.

collegato.
The Remoran Wave 3 outboard unit is designed with suitable materials to minimize
galvanic corrosion. With careful installaon and use, you can further prevent
corrosion.
• Make sure that there are no leakage currents or potenal dierences in the water
from other devices on the boat that can accelerate corrosion.
• Avoid installing the outboard unit in the immediate vicinity of exhaust pipes.
• When the boat or neighbouring boats are connected to shore power, li the
outboard unit out of the water to avoid corrosion caused by possible leakage
currents.
• Do not connect the ground wire (yellow-green) of the generator cable except in
the case described below.
The grounding wire is intended to be connected to an aluminium-protecve anode
installed on the boom of the boat near the transom. The connecon creates a
galvanic current circuit between the metal parts of the generator and the anode.
This is why it is very important that the anode is of the right type. If the anode is of
the wrong type, or the cable is connected, for example, to the electric ground of the
boat or to the engine, the generator may be exposed to corrosion.
Ask the manufacturer for more informaon if you doubt whether the grounding wire
can be connected.

Place the rubber washers, washers and
nuts on top of the bolts. Secure the
mounng with a thread-locking uid
and ghten.

Insert the cable through the hole and
insulate the feedthrough with sealant.

screws.

The numbered wires should be connected to the
corresponding numbered screw terminals of the
charger's generator connecon.

Carefully connect the charging wires to the
appropriate apertures with the + and - wires in their
appropriate locaons. The charging cables must not
be live during the connecon phase. A 40 A circuit
breaker must also be installed on the red (+) charging
wire as near the baeries or main switch as possible
(max. 30cm).
Collegare con aenzione i cavi di ricarica al morseo
con i cavi + e - nelle posizioni appropriate. I cavi di
ricarica non devono essere soo tensione durante

interruore automaco da 40 A sul cavo di ricarica

To ensure uninterrupted operaon of the product,
install a clamp-on ferrite lter on the posive (red)
charging wire. The ferrite lter is included in the
sales package and should be installed as close to the
charger as possible.
When closing the plasc body of the ferrite around
the wire, you should hear a click when the two pieces
interlock. This ensures that the pieces are properly
connected. If needed, they can be reopened by
turning the clip on the side of the ferrite.
Per garanre un funzionamento senza problemi del
disposivo, è necessario installare un ltro di ferrite
di po "clamp on" sul lo di carica posivo (rosso).
La ferrite è inclusa nella confezione di vendita e va
posizionata il più vicino possibile al caricabaerie.
Quando si chiude il corpo in plasca della ferrite

locking pin coer back in place.
