Connections
The 4 Port USB Hub is used to expand the available USB ports on a host device to allow for additional USB connections. The 4 port USB hub
connects to a number of RDM products such as the Plant Controller or the Data Manager. The Hub requires a 24V ac or dc supply to operate.
The “USB Device” port is connected to the Host device allowing additional USB devices to be connected to the Host device via the 4 USB ports.
Each USB Port has a pair of status LED’s to indicate the current port condition.
Status LEDs
Each USB port has two associated status LED’s and the following describes their operation.
Green LED On = Connection present.
Off = No connection
Yellow LED On = Indicates a fault condition e.g. over current condition on the port.
Off = Indicates normal operation.
