2.Install SIM card
Pulling out thelong narrow rubberstopple beside thetracker, youcan see
the SIM cardsocket, beside which,press the yellowswitch button witha tool
and then theholder will comeout. Pull itout and putthe SIM cardin the holder
and then pushthe holder intothe tracker (Payattention to thatthe SIM card
metal contact pincannot face downto the holder),and push thelong narrow
rubber stopple intothe tracker tocover the SIMcard socket.

Note:
1) This trackeruse 2G GSM network, and it upload tracking only through GPRS,
it cannot workin CDMAnetwork or 3G(WCDMAor CDMA2000) network.
(Many 3G SIMcard can use2G GSM network,this 3G SIMcard can beused
in this tracker).
2) Enable theSIM card GPRSdata service, ordera GPRS datapackage
(20-30M/month) can savedata charge (Normallythe tracker willuse about
20M GPRS dataevery month)

4.Recharge andpower supply
The tracker onlyuses the 5VDC voltage torecharge, too highvoltage or
AC voltage maydamage the tracker or even cause accidents,so please check
and confirm theadapter model is suitable for this tracker.We recommendusing
our OEM chargerto recharge the tracker.
1)Use battery chargingstand, put the CCTR-808S in the battery charging
stand,confirm the CCTR-808Scharging pin is well connected to the battery
charging stand chargingoutput pin(please refer the following diagram),and
put the batterycharging stand into the AC socket(110-220VAC),the LED on
the battery chargingstand will turn on to RED,it is means the it is charging,
if the LEDchange to Green,it means the charging is finished. The fully
charging need about5-10 hours.
2) Use SolarCharging, Place the tracker in the sunlight, the solar battery will
recharge the trackerautomatically, inthe long distancetransport or longtime
tracking please installthe tracker in the place with sunlight, this can extend
the battery workingtime, but itis impossible to finished fully charging only
by solar powerwhen working.
Note:The voltage ofthe charger must not be higher than 5.5V.High voltage
will damage thetracker. Please use the OEM adapter, it needs 5-10 hours to
charge the trackerfully. Placethe tracker inthe sunlight asfar as possible
and it willextend the battery working time observably.

5.Low BatteryAlarm:
When the trackerbattery voltage islow,the GREENLED of thetracker will
flash 3 or4 times,and thenthe tracker willsend battery lowinformation SMS to
the preset phone.

7.ANTENNA
The Antennaof GSM andGPS are builtin the tracker. So pleaseleave the
tracker away frombig metal thatwill reduce theGSM and GPSsignal.
8.Waterproof
The design ofthe tracker is IP56 level waterproof, it means the raining or
sprinkling cannot damagethe tracker,butyou cannot dropthe tracker intowater.

Simply Using Step
1. First tobuy a 2GGSM phone SIMcard and enableGPRS service, ordera
data package 20-30M (Normally tracker will use 20M data every month),
install in the tracker, please refer
2. Press anySOS button tillthe Green LEDon continuously,the tracker is
powered on; put the tracker outdoor for easy get GPS & GSM signal.
3. Check LEDflash; refer for detail, IfGreen LED flashonce
means GSM and GPS signal well. And Red LED flash oncemeans the
location has been uploaded to the server.
4. Call thetracker or sendSMS LINKLOCATE*123456 to the tracker, the
tracker will reply the tracker location with Google map link by SMS.
5. Visit &login the tracking platform or
display current location,playback history trackingetc can
be operated, platform user name and password is the last 7 digital numbers
,
of the trackers ID (for example ID is: CC8081401234567, and then the user
name is: 1234567, password is:1234567, user can change the password,
send SMS "ID*123456"or "CHECK*123456" to tracker can check tracker ID).
6. iPhone?,Android? App,Wap, WeChatalso use thesame user nameand
password with website login, downloading & installation please refer the
platform operation guide.
7. Fleet usercan be createdfor easy fleetmanagement.
8. This trackercan auto download & configure APN & GPRSuser name &
password, if the auto configure is not right, the Red LED will flash twice, the
tracker cannot upload location to server, then youneed send SMSto tracker
to change the APN & GPRS manually,and send "CHECK*123456"to tracker
can check the APN auto configure,call the tracker SIM card supplier to
confirm the APN & GPRS is right.

Basic Locate Operation & Setting
1. Add authorizedphone number

2. Making acall trigger replyGoogle map linkSMS

Call the trackerSIM card number,after ring 3times,the tracker willhang up
the call automaticallyand locate immediately, a fewseconds later, the tracker
will send backSMS with currentlocation google mapwebsite link. Userclick
the website linkto visit internet,the map willdisplay on mobilephone. If the
tracker has setthe authorized phonenumber, thenonly authorized number
calling the trackercan trigger thetracker locate andreply SMS,other phone

The time anddate are GMT's.For example, ifin New York (USA), andreceive
the SMS likeabove,then the righttime and datein local is03:29:06 2013/02/02

command, 123456 is password; thetracker will locateimmediately and
later send backSMS with currentlocation latitude/longitude/speed/direction
to user.

5. Cell IDLocate
When user triggertracker reply locationby SMS, ifthe tracker isin the
place where thereis no GPSsignal, such asunderground park, indoor room,
the tracker willreply SMS withCELL ID locationto user,and the precision is
about 50-500m, accordingto the aroundmobile phone basestation density.

Senior Locate Operation & Setting
1. Add /Delete / Checkauthorized number:
The authorized phonenumber is used to send alarm information by SMS,
or use mobilephone to locatethe tracker withoutplatform, if theauthorized
phone number isnot set, thenthe alarm informationcan not sendto user by
SMS (alarm, batterylow, SOS,etc). TheAdd command, please see Basic
Locate Operation &Setting .
Send SMS "DELETEPHONE*123456*A"to the tracker, "DELETEPHONE"
is a command;"123456" is password;"A" is authorizedphone number location,
there are 3locations "A" and"B" and "C"; if thedelete operation issuccess,
the tracker willsend back theinformation "Delete PresetPhone OK" ,if the
password is notright, the operationis fault, thetracker will sendback
information Wrong Password .
Send SMS CHECKPHONE*123456 to tracker, CHECKPHONE is a
command; 123456 is password;if theoperation is success,thetracker will
send back theinformation Preset PhoneA:13987654321 B:13876543210

2. Change /Check TrackerPassword
The tracker passwordis used to protect the tracker only can be operated
by owner,every SMS commandneed follow trackerpassword, the default
tracker password is123456, for highersecurity please changethe tracker
password.
Send SMS CHANGEPASSWORD*123456*888888 to tracker, CHANGE
PASSWORD is a command; 123456 is old password; 888888 is new
password; if theoperation is success,the tracker willsend the information
New Password 888888 to every preset phone number, if the password is
not right, theoperation is fault,the tracker willsend back information
Wrong Password .

Send SMS CHECKPASSWORD to the tracker, CHECKPASSWORD
is a command,if the operationis success, thetracker will sendback the

3. Set APN& GPRS
This tracker useGPRS to upload the information to internet server, most
mobile company SIMcard need enableGPRS service first& setAPN and
GPRS user name& password, pleasecall your trackerSIM card mobilephone
company to confirm.
This tracker candownload & configure APN & GPRS username password
automatically after poweron according thedifferent SIM cardin the tracker, if
the APN& GPRS username password arenot right (RedLED will flashtwice),
then you needsending SMS totracker to changethem manually,pleaseconfirm
the auto configurationof APN& GPRS username password isright, call your
tracker SIM cardmobile phone companyto get theAPN &GPRS setting,sending
SMS CHECK*123456 to tracker cancheck the currentAPN &GPRS auto
setting. If theAPN &GPRS are notright, please setby the followingdescription.
Send SMS APN*123456*apnname to the tracker, in which, APN
is the fixedcommand, 123456 is the passwordand apnname is the
APN name ofa mobile phonecompany. Havingsuccessfully been made,
there will bea SMS APN: apnname .
Send SMS USERNAME*123456*username*password to the tracker,
USERNAME is a command, 123456 is the password of the tracker;
username is the mobilecompany GPRS username, password is the
mobile company GPRSpassword, if theoperation is success,the tracker will
send back theinformation Username: username, Password:password ,
please call themobile phone servicehot-line to getthe GPRS usernameand
password,some mobile companyit is notnecessary to setthe GPRS username
and password.If thepassword is notright,the operation isfault;the tracker will
send back information Wrong Password .
4. Set WebsiteServer IP address
The tracker IPaddress has beenset to default:58.64.155.133,8011 in
factory. Normallythis is not necessary to change, If our server IP is changed,
we will noticeon the website.Butif you needupload location toyour own server,
send SMS IP*123456*58.64.155.133,8011 to the tracker, in which, IP
is the fixedcommand, 123456 is the passwordand 58.64.155.133,8011
is the IPaddress & port of the your own server. Having successfully been set,
there will bea SMS IP: 58.64.155.133,8011 .

5. Set thesystem GSM workmode
The tracker has3 GSM workmodes.
Send SMS MODE*123456*1 to the tracker, MODE is a command,
123456 is password, 1 is the mode1. If theoperation is success, the
tracker will sendback the information SET MODE 1OK .
This mode isthe default GSMwork mode. Underthis mode, whenthe car
begins to move,the track will turn on GPS & GPRS and upload the location to
the server.When car stopmoving or turn off 5 minutes,the GSM isstandby
(GPRS off, SMS& voice ready)and the GPSis off, atthis moment, the GSM
can receive SMSand calling, and can be triggered locating by SMS or calling.
Send SMS MODE*123456*2 to the tracker, MODE is a command,
123456 is password, 2 is the mode2. If theoperation is success, the
tracker will sendback the information SET MODE 2OK .
Under this mode,when the car begins to move, the track will turn on GPS
& GPRS andupload the location to the server. when car stop moving or turn
off 5 minutes,the GSM &GPS all areoff (GPRS off,no SMS & voice), at this
moment, the GSMcannot receive SMS and calling, and cannot be triggered
locating by SMSor calling. Only shock sensor can trigger the tracker wake up.
This mode cansave battery power than mode 1, if the tracker stop moving,
standby time canreach over 40 days (different accordingthe GSM signaland
working condition).
Send SMS "MODE*123456*3*xx"to the tracker, "MODE" is a command,
"123456" is password,"3" is the mode 3, "xx" is the sleep time from 01-99, unit
is hour.If the operationis success, the tracker will send back the information
SET MODE 3OK . The sleeptime can be set from 01 hour to 99 hours.
Under this mode,the GSM andthe GPS are both controlled by timer
(interval time). Thetracker GSM andGPS will poweron and uploadthe current
location to server, and then turn off theGSM and theGPS (no SMSor voice
service or GPRS),and the timerwill begin to count, after the time is up (for
example the aboveis 24 hours), the tracker will turn on the GSM and the GPS
automatically, thenupload the currentlocation to server, and thenturn off the
GSM and theGPS again, andthe timer will begin to count again and repeat the
above process. Themode 3 islowest power cost.In this mode,the solar battery
(in the sunlight)can meet the demand of the power cost; the tracker could work
very long timeand is verysuitable for longtime transportation tracking.

Note: In the mode3, if youneed change the set or operate other function, you
can send theSMS command and wait for response, the tracker will receive
SMS and operatethe command when the tracker weak up after the setting
interval time. Oryou can press the button A or B or C to start the tracker
immediately.

6. Set theupload time interval
In the GSMwork mode 1,the GPS locationinformation upload timecan
be set from30 to 999seconds.
Send SMS "INTERVAL*123456*yyy" to tracker, INTERVAL is a
command, 123456 is password, yyy is the interval time from 30 to 999,
unit is second.The tracker willsend back information Set Interval yyyOK ,
if the passwordis not right,the operation isfault, the trackerwill send back
information Wrong Password . 30 secondsis the defaultinterval time.
Longer upload intervaltime can savebattery and GPRSdata cost, butthis
will make thetotal mileage tomore error.
7. Set theLEDs ON orOFF
The tracker hastwo LEDs, green LED and red LED, which indicate
different working situation.And the LEDs can be set always OFF to save the
battery power orto be easyhidden.
Send SMS LEDOFF*123456 or LEDON*123456 to tracker,
LEDOFF or LEDON is a command, 123456 is password. The
tracker will sendback information Set LEDOFF OK or Set LEDON OK ,
if the passwordis not right,the operation isfault, and thetracker will sendback
information Wrong Password . Andthen the LEDsturn off immediately. And
the LEDs can t indicate theworking situation, butwhen charge thetracker
with an adapter, the redLED will beon in allthe charging process.
8. Check trackersetting
Send SMS "CHECK*123456"to tracker,"CHECK" is thefixed command,
123456 is password. Thetracker will send back information including
software version, IDS/N number,IP address, authorizedphone number, GPS
and GSM signaletc. if thepassword is notright, the operationis fault, andthe
tracker will sendback information Wrong Password . The followingis an
example:

Note: This command isusually used tocheck the trackercurrent status &
configuration, if thetracker cannot workwell, this commandcan check what
the problem is.
9. Re-power On& Reset Tracker
Send SMS "RESET*123456"to tracker,"RESET" is acommand, "123456"
is password. Thetracker will send back information "Reset Tracker and cancel
all alarm setting",if the passwordis not right,the operation isfault, the tracker
will send backinformation "Wrong Password".
The tracker willpower off andthen power onautomatically, thiswill take a
few minutes,and thencancel all thealarm setting inthe tracker,including shock
alarm, move alarm,geo-fence alarm, overspeed alarm, etc.
10. Back tofactory configuration
Send SMS FACTORY*123456 to tracker, FACTORY is the fixed
command, 123456 is password. Thetracker will send back information
Set factory settingOK , if thepassword is notright, the operationis fault,
the tracker willsend back information Wrong Password .
After this, Thetracker will cancel all the alarm setting in the tracker, including
shock alarm, movealarm, geo-fence alarm,over speed alarm,delete all the
authorized phone number,delete theAPN and GPRSuser name andpassword,
change the trackerpassword to 123456,resetthe IP address,resetthe system
working mode andthe interval time,and so on.
1)If forgot thepassword, you cannotreset by theSMS command.
2)After back todefault set, ifthe IP/APN/GPRS name& password arechanged
manually, youneed set these again by sending SMS.
11. SMSStart/Stop (Enable /Disable) Uploading Locationto Server
The uploading locationto internet server can be enabled(Start)or disabled
(Stop) by SMS,if the uploadinglocation to serveris disabled, thetracker will
not upload locationto server unlessuser enable (Start)the uploading location
to server functionagain, at thiscondition it stillcan be usedas a personal
tracker without platform.
Send SMS START*123456 or STOP*123456 to tracker, START
or STOP is a command, 123456 is password. Thetracker will sendback
information Set upload startOK or Set upload stopOK ,if the passwordis
not right, theoperation is fault,the tracker willsend back information Wrong
Password . Afterstop uploading locationto server,the tracker isjust like a
personal tracker.
Note:the default settingis:the uploading locationto server functionis enabled.

12. EnableAnd Disable ShockAlarm
Send SMS SHOCKALARMON*123456 or SHOCKALARMOFF*123
456 to the tracker, SHOCKALARMON or SHOCKALARMOFF is a
command, 123456 is password, thetracker will sendback the information
Set ShockAlarm On or Set ShockAlarm Off to indicate theoperation
is success, ifthe password isnot right, theoperation is fault,the tracker will
send back information Wrong Password .
After enableshock alarm,the systemwill check shocksensor,if the shock
sensor is trigger, the trackerwill send alarm and location information by SMS
to the presetphone, and alsosend the alarminformation to the website server.
If the trackershock is triggeredcontinually, everyauthorized phone number
will receive max3 alarm SMSper hour.

13. Enable AndDisable Overspeed Alarm:
Send SMS OVERSPEEDALARMON*123456*xxx or OVERSPEEDA
LARMOFF*123456 to tracker, OVERSPEEDALARMON or OVERSPE
EDALARMOFF is a command, 123456 is password, xxx is the preset
max speed, unitis km/hour.The tracker willsend back theinformation
Set OverspeedAlarm On or Set OverspeedAlarm Off to indicate the
operation is success,if the passwordis not right,the operation is fault, and the
tracker will sendback information Wrong Password .
After enable overspeedalarm, the systemwill check thereal time speed when
the car isrunning. If thecurrent speed ishigher than thepreset speed, the
tracker will sendalarm and locationinformation by SMSto the preset phone,
and also sendthe alarm informationto the websiteserver. Every preset phone
will receive max3 alarm SMSper hour.

After enablemove alarm, thetracker would getthe current location as
original location, andit will checkthe real timelocation, if the change of the

operation is success,ifthe password isnot right,the operationis fault,and the
tracker will sendback information Wrong Password . The radiusof the
fencerow can beset from 001to 999 kilometers.
After enablegeo-fence alarm, thetracker would getthe current location,
point Afor example, andit would check the real time location, if the change of
the location distancebetween the currentlocation and thepre-set location was
greater than theradius,the alarm wastrigged and thetracker would send alarm
and location informationby SMS tothe preset phone,and also send the alarm
information to thewebsite server.If the trackeris not backto geo-fence, every
preset phone wouldreceive max 3alarm SMS perhour.

In the normalmode press thebutton Aor B or C and don t not release
(Press button over6 seconds), theGREED LED willflash quickly,a few
seconds later theGREEN LED willturn OFF, then release the button, the
tracker will sendSOS help informationto all 3preset phone.

1. This trackeruse 2G GSM network, and it upload tracking only through 2G
GPRS, it cannotwork in CDMAnetwork or 3G(WCDMA orCDMA2000)
network, Some 3Gcard can workin 2G GSMnetwork, then thiskind of 3G
SIM card canbe used inthis tracker,please call mobilephone company to
confirm the SIMcard support 2GGSM network ornot.
2. Please confirmthat the SIMcard PIN codehas been disabled,otherwisethe
tracker cannot findGSM network, andthe Green LEDwill keep ON.
3. Alsoplease confirm theSIM card hasenable GPRS service(SomeSIM card
need send SMSto enable theGPRS data service),the tracker willcost 20-
30M GPRS dataevery month, ordera GPRS datapackage can savemoney.
4. The antennaof GSM and GPS is built in tracker,please note thatthe install
location of thetracker must canreceive the GPSsignal, normally theback of
the seat orarm rest boxor under theback window orroom on thepanel etc.
please leave awaythe tracker frombig metal, andkeep away fromthe
magnetic components.
5. The trackerbuilt in high capacity Li battery,recharge one timecan use about
30 days (Nosunlight standby), pleaseuse our OEMDC adapter forcharging,
change the workingmode can extendthe working timelonger, placethe
tracker in thesunlight can extendthe working time.
6. The trackerbuilt in GSM and GPS module,so please power offthe tracker at
the special placethat restrict usingmobile phone, suchas on theplane, etc.
7. The GPSneed 10-200 seconds to locate the position, when the GSM signal
is weak orthe network isvery busy,theSMS maybe delay to send by the
GSM network, thisis normal.
8. The trackingdata on our server will keep 6-12 months; theold data willbe
deleted.
Notes:
Trouble Shooting:
1. The trackerauto power off:please confirm thetracker battery haveenough
power, andtry to rechargeit; and confirmthe adapter isworking well (When
charging the LEDon the adapteris RED, ifthe LED isGREEN means the
charging is finished,the charging processwill cost 5-10hours ).
2. Afterpower on thetracker, thetracker GREEN LEDkeep on, andit has not
any repose, andno ring, pleaseconfirm the SIMcard has beeninstalled
properly, theSIM card PIN code is disable, and the SIM card has enough
charge,and the mobilephone can workwell in thatplace.If the trackerwork
well the GreenLED will flashonce every 4seconds.
3. If thetracker cannot uploadlocation to website,pleaseconfirm the SIMcard
has GPRS function,andthe APNor GPRS autoconfigure is right,(SendSMS
CHECK*123456 to check autoconfigure, and callthe mobile phonehot
line to confirm APN & GPRS). if the tracker do not move, the tracker will not
upload tracking, try moving the tracker.
