ENGLISH - USER MANUAL
This information is intended to assist motorcyclists in choosing
the most suitable equipment. Please carefully read the following
important information regarding the correct use and fit, and the
necessary restrictions and warnings before using this product.
INTRODUCTION
Motorcycling is an inherently dangerous activity and may result in
serious personal injury, including death. Each motorcyclist should
have appropriate experience with the sport of motorcycling and
be able to recognize the possible dangers involved while riding
a motorcycle. Motorcyclists should use appropriate protective
equipment and should exercise absolute care for safety whilst riding.
These items are considered PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
under European Regulation (EU) 2016/425. A CE Type examination
has been conducted on these boots using the notified body listed in
this booklet. See table 1.
This regulation serves to preserve the health and ensure the safety
of intended users of the chosen PPE. In compliance with the PPE
Regulation (EU) 2016/425 these boots will provide limited protection
against impacts of small objects, vibrations, abrasion and cuts by
blunt objects.

LIMITATION OF USE
These REV’IT! boots have been designed to use while riding a
motorcycle and will only provide limited protection against impacts,
abrasion against road surfaces and cuts by blunt objects. Please
be aware that no pair of boots can provide complete protection
against injury. However, in case of a crash, fall, collision, loss of
control or other events which result in an accident, they can reduce
the chance of an injury. Please ensure that the product is correctly
used and fits properly.
WARNINGS
Your REV’IT! boots are designed for motorcycling, however it is the
responsibility of the user, not the manufacturer, to determine whether
the selected boot is suitable for the desired purpose. Do not use
any product that is worn out, modified or damaged. Any alterations
or misuse can damage the product and may result in a lower
performance and are, therefore, not allowed. Do not expose boots to
extreme temperatures, petrochemicals, solvents or solvent fumes, or
treat in any manner that is other than the intended use of the product
as this may significantly reduce the level of protection.

should always be securely fastened when in use whilst riding a
motorcycle. Failing to do so may severely limit the boots’ ability to
provide protection in the event of an accident. Never ride with the
main closures open.

DECLARATION OF INNOCUOUSNESS
REV’IT! boots comply with the EU regulations regarding harmful
substances. Therefore they contain no toxic, carcinogenic,
mutagenic or other substances which may be harmful to health. In
addition, REV’IT! boots meet the European rules on AZO colorants.
Any allergic reactions due to skin contact are not known by REV’IT!.
In case an allergic reaction accidentally occurs, please contact
REV’IT! customer support and stop using the product.
USE WITH ADDITIONAL PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
To achieve the maximum available levels of protection in the event
of an accident, REV’IT! boots should be used in conjunction with
compatible, correctly fitting items of PPE which provide coverage
to areas of the body not protected by these boots alone - i.e. a
total PPE package should be used, comprising of a helmet, boots,
gloves, jacket, trousers, or a one-piece/two-piece suit.
FIT/SIZING
When choosing your boots, select a pair that is of correct size and
fits comfortably when adopting your usual riding position. Please
ensure that you are able to easily operate your motorcycle.
In order to provide the best possible protection it is necessary to
choose the correct size of boots. REV’IT! boots are labeled with
European sizes on the inside of the boot. In order to choose the
correct size please check your foot measurements or consult your
REV’IT! dealer.
In order to benefit fully from the protection offered by your boots,
you should ensure that they fit according to the following criteria:
The closures are fully fastened and fixed securely in place prior to
mounting your motorcycle and additional checks should be carried
out to ensure there are no loose or free-hanging ends that could
be entangled in the vehicles’ mechanisms whilst riding. The main

closures and restraint mechanisms of these boots should always
be securely fastened when in use whilst riding a motorcycle or the
boots’ ability to provide protection in the event of an accident may
be severely reduced.
Choosing boots that are of incorrect size may hinder the wearers’
freedom and range of movements resulting in dangerous riding
conditions. This item of motorcyclists’ PPE will only provide
appropriate protection when the boots are fitted in accordance
with the instructions provided. The retailer can provide you with
further detailed information and assist you with advice on fit and
restraint systems.
CARE
It is recommended to clean the boots after each use. Wearing
non-waterproof boots in the rain is not recommended. If leather
boots become wet, dry them naturally. Do not place the boots near,
or let the boots get into contact with a direct heat source or direct
sunlight, otherwise the leather will become stiff. Textile boots may
contain leather parts. Such boots should be treated as leather boots.
For waterproof boots: avoid contact with sharp objects that may
puncture the waterproof insert of the boots. Do not allow boots to
come in contact with solvents, petrol or cleaning agents. This could
change the characteristic properties (e.g. the color) of your boots.
Clean the boots by hand using a damp cloth and do not use hot
water. Remove difficult stains by using neutral soap or a special
leather or textile cleaner. Do not use a washing machine, dry cleaning
or high pressure devices to clean the product, as high temperature
and pressure may damage the product.
MAINTENANCE
Inspect your boots before and after each use for any signs of
damage to the materials, seams, fastening mechanism and
protective parts. Make sure that all fasteners work well and according
to their intended use. Following an accident, the boots should be
inspected thoroughly by an authorized REV’IT! dealer, if possible.
Any damage should be professionally repaired or the boots should
be replaced.
STORAGE
It is recommended that you store the boots in a dry and well
ventilated environment, out of sunlight and away from direct heat
sources. Do not leave them under heavy items. Make sure that your
boots are completely dry before you store them. When boots are
stored wet or in a non ventilated area, this may cause deformations
and damage your boots.

Original accessories and spare parts for your REV’IT! boots can be
obtained at your local REV’IT! dealer or by contacting REV’IT! directly
through the contact details supplied at the end of this document.
DISPOSAL
The disposal of this product should be done in accordance with local
disposal legislations.
AGEING
Every product has a finite lifespan, which heavily depends on the
actual use of the product. It is therefore recommended to inspect
the product on a regular basis (at least once a year). An exact expiry
date cannot be given, since the condition of the product depends on
use, but REV’IT! advises to replace the product after five years of use.
REV’IT! can only ensure the quality of this product within a period of
5 years after date the CE certificate for this product has been obtained.
PROTECTION
According to (EU) 2016/425 and subsequent modifications,
motorcycle boots are considered Personal Protective Equipment,
making them protective wear for motorcyclists. They are categorized
as Cat. II according to the European Regulation (EU) 2016/425.
These REV’IT! boots have been tested and approved to meet the
relevant standards. Exact specifications of product performance
can be found on the label and marking inside the boots. (See the
explanatory marking example in this CE user manual)
PROTECTION LEVELS
European standard EN13634:2017 includes two performance levels
(per mandatory test) in terms of the protection afforded. The degree
of risk or hazard that a motorcyclist will face is closely linked to
the type of riding and the nature of the accident. Within standard
EN13634:2017 ‘Level 1’ performance is deemed as the minimum
level required in order for the footwear to provide useful protection
in an accident, and offers footwear with an optimum comfort level
to suit all riding types. Where riders feel that their riding style or
sport exposes them to an increased accident risk ‘Level 2’ has been
provided which offers increased performance – however it is likely
that this additional level of protection has an increased penalty for
the weight and comfort, so may not be acceptable to all riders.
HAZARD PROTECTION
In respect of the European Regulation (EU) 2016/425 these
boots are designed to provide limited abrasion, cut and impact
protection against minor injuries caused by impacts with road
surfaces as a result of a motorcycle accident. Note, however,
that no boots can protect against all injuries and accidents, and

that the extent of any injury is heavily impacted by the hazards to
which motorcyclists are exposed and vary heavily depending on
the environment, climate, road and traffic, as well as, the speed
at which the motorcycle is being ridden and the skill of the rider. If
used correctly, the protective boots that are detailed within this user
information booklet can prevent or reduce the severity of injuries
associated with motorcyclists following a road accident. However,
no item of protective equipment, boots and / or garments can offer
full protection against all injuries. The rider is responsible for his /
her own safety. These certified boots are intended to provide some
protection from injury in the event of an accident. REV’IT! makes

à choisir l’équipement le plus adapté. Veuillez lire attentivement

l’ajustement corrects, ainsi que les limitations et avertissements

La conduite en moto est une activité fondamentalement dangereuse
et elle peut entraîner des blessures graves, voire mortelles. Les
motocyclistes doivent disposer d’une expérience suffisante en la
matière et être en mesure d’identifier les dangers liés à la conduite

Fixez toujours bien les principales fixations et fermetures des
bottes REV’IT! lors de la conduite en moto. Le non-respect de cette
consigne peut affecter gravement la capacité des bottes à assurer
la protection en cas d’accident. Ne roulez jamais en moto avec les
principales fermetures ouvertes.

UTILISATION AVEC D’AUTRES ÉQUIPEMENTS DE PROTECTION
INDIVIDUELLE
Pour bénéficier des niveaux de protection maximaux disponibles
en cas d’accident, les bottes REV’IT! doivent être utilisées avec des
équipements de protection individuelle compatibles et correctement
ajustés qui couvrent les parties du corps qui ne sont pas protégées
par les bottes seules (un équipement de protection individuelle
complet, incluant un casque, des bottes, des gants, une veste, un
pantalon ou une combinaison une ou deux pièces, doit être utilisé).
COUPE/TAILLE
Pour le choix de vos bottes, sélectionnez une paire de taille correcte
et de coupe confortable lorsque vous adoptez votre position de
conduite habituelle. Assurez-vous que vous pouvez facilement
manœuvrer votre moto.
Vous devez choisir la taille de bottes correcte pour bénéficier de
la meilleure protection possible. Les bottes REV’IT! disposent
d’étiquettes mentionnant les tailles européennes à l’intérieur de la
botte. Pour choisir la taille correcte, veuillez vérifier votre pointure ou
contacter votre revendeur REV’IT!.

Pour bénéficier pleinement de la protection offerte par vos bottes,
vous devez veiller à ce que les critères suivants soient remplis : Fixez
bien les fermetures avant de monter sur votre moto. Vous devez
procéder à des vérifications supplémentaires afin de vous assurer
de l’absence d’extrémités non fixées qui pourraient se prendre dans
les mécanismes du véhicule lors de la conduite. Fixez toujours bien
les principaux mécanismes de retenue et de fixation des bottes lors
de la conduite en moto, faute de quoi les bottes risquent de ne pas
pouvoir offrir la protection requise en cas d’accident.
Le fait de choisir une taille de bottes incorrecte peut limiter la liberté
de mouvement de l’utilisateur et entraîner une conduite dangereuse.
Cet équipement de protection individuelle des motocyclistes
n’assure une protection adaptée que lorsque les bottes sont portées
conformément aux instructions fournies. Le détaillant peut vous
fournir de plus amples informations et des conseils concernant la
coupe et les systèmes de retenue.
ENTRETIEN
Nous vous recommandons de nettoyer les bottes après chaque
utilisation. Le port de bottes non imperméables par temps de pluie
est déconseillé. Faites sécher les bottes en cuir mouillées à l’air
libre. Ne placez pas les bottes à proximité de ou en contact avec
une source de chaleur directe ou la lumière directe du soleil, faute
de quoi le cuir se rigidifiera. Les bottes en textile peuvent contenir
des parties en cuir. Ces bottes doivent être traitées comme des
bottes en cuir. Pour les bottes imperméables, vous devez éviter
le contact avec des objets tranchants qui pourraient percer les
garnitures imperméables des bottes. Veillez à ce que les bottes
n’entrent pas en contact avec des solvants, de l’essence ou des
produits décapants. Cela pourrait avoir un impact sur les propriétés
caractéristiques de vos bottes (couleur, par exemple). Nettoyez
les bottes à la main à l’aide d’un chiffon humide et n’utilisez pas
d’eau chaude. Retirez les taches tenaces à l’aide d’un savon neutre
ou un produit de nettoyage spécialement conçu pour le cuir ou
le textile. N’utilisez pas de lave-linge, d’appareils de nettoyage à
sec ou d’appareils à haute pression pour nettoyer le produit, les
températures élevées et la pression peuvent en effet endommager
le produit.
MAINTENANCE
Vérifiez vos bottes avant et après chaque utilisation. Ils ne doivent
pas présenter de signes de dommages au niveau des matériaux,
des coutures, du mécanisme de fixation ou des éléments de
protection. Assurez-vous que toutes les fixations fonctionnent
correctement et conformément à l’utilisation prévue. Suite à un
accident, les bottes doivent être inspectées par un revendeur REV’IT!
agréé (dans la mesure du possible). Les bottes endommagées
doivent être réparées par des professionnels ou remplacées.

STOCKAGE
Nous vous recommandons de stocker les bottes dans un lieu sec et
bien aéré, à l’abri de la lumière du soleil et des sources de chaleur
directe. Ne placez pas les bottes sous des objets lourds. Veillez à ce
que vos bottes soient complètement sèches avant de les ranger. Le
stockage de bottes humides ou dans un lieu non aéré peut entraîner
des déformations et des dommages au niveau des bottes.

La mise au rebut du produit doit être effectuée conformément aux
législations locales en la matière.
VIEILLISSEMENT
Les produits ont une durée de vie limitée qui dépend beaucoup
de l’utilisation. Il est donc recommandé de vérifier régulièrement le
produit (au moins une fois par an). Il n’est pas possible de fournir
une date d’expiration exacte, l’état du produit dépend en effet de
son utilisation. REV’IT! recommande cependant de remplacer le
produit après cinq ans d’utilisation. REV’IT! ne peut garantir la qualité
du produit que pour une période de cinq ans à compter de la date
d’obtention du certificat CE pour le produit.
PROTECTION
Conformément à la réglementation européenne 2016/425 et les
modifications apportées par la suite, les bottes de moto sont
considérées comme des équipements de protection individuelle, ce
qui fait d’elles des vêtements de protection pour les motocyclistes.
Elles relèvent de la catégorie II selon la réglementation européenne
2016/425. Les bottes REV’IT! ont été testées et approuvées
conformément aux normes pertinentes. Les spécifications exactes
relatives aux performances du produit figurent sur l’étiquette et
le marquage à l’intérieur des bottes (des exemples explicatifs de
marquages sont disponibles dans le présent manuel d’utilisation
CE).
NIVEAUX DE PROTECTION
La norme européenne EN 13634:2017 inclut deux niveaux de
performances (pour chaque essai obligatoire) en matière de
protection offerte. Le niveau de risques auquel un motocycliste est
exposé est étroitement lié au type de conduite et à la nature de
l’accident. Le niveau 1 de la norme EN 13634:2017 est considéré
comme le niveau minimal requis pour que les bottes offrent une
protection utile en cas d’accident et permet aux bottes de disposer
d’un niveau de confort optimal pour s’adapter à tous les types
de conduite. Pour les motocyclistes qui estiment que leur style

de conduite ou leur pratique sportive les exposent à un risque
d’accident accru, le niveau 2 propose des performances plus
élevées. Il est cependant probable que ce niveau de protection
supplémentaire ait un impact sur le poids et le confort que certains
motocyclistes peuvent considérer comme rédhibitoire.
PROTECTION CONTRE LES RISQUES
Conformément à la réglementation européenne relative aux EPI
(2016/425), ces bottes sont conçues pour offrir une protection
limitée contre les abrasions, les coupures et les impacts en cas
de blessures mineures occasionnées par les impacts avec le
revêtement des routes lors des accidents de moto. Notez cependant
qu’aucune botte ne peut protéger de l’ensemble des blessures
et accidents. La portée des blessures est fortement influencée
par les risques auxquels les motocyclistes sont exposés et peut
fortement varier selon l’environnement, les conditions climatiques,
l’état de la route et la circulation, ainsi que la vitesse et les aptitudes
de conduite du motocycliste. Les bottes de protection détaillées
dans le présent livret d’information peuvent, si elles sont utilisées
correctement, prévenir les blessures ou réduire la gravité des
blessures dont souffrent les motocyclistes lors d’un accident de la
route. Aucun équipement de protection individuelle, aucune botte et/
ou aucun vêtement ne peut cependant fournir une totale protection
contre l’ensemble des blessures. Le motocycliste est responsable
de sa sécurité. Ces bottes certifiées sont conçues pour protéger des
blessures en cas d’accident. La société REV’IT! ne garantit pas, que

ITALIANO - MANUALE D’USO
Lo scopo della presente scheda informativa è quello di aiutare
i motociclisti a scegliere l’equipaggiamento più idoneo alle loro
esigenze. Si prega di leggere attentamente le importanti informazioni
riportate di seguito relative al corretto utilizzo e indossaggio, le
limitazioni e le avvertenze prima di utilizzare questo prodotto.
INTRODUZIONE
Il motociclismo è un’attività che comporta dei rischi intrinseci che
possono portare a gravi lesioni personali, con conseguenze in alcuni
casi fatali. Ogni motociclista dovrebbe avere un’adeguata esperienza
di guida ed essere in grado di riconoscere i possibili pericoli a cui
va incontro quando è sella ad un motociclo. I motociclisti devono
utilizzare adeguati dispositivi di protezione personale e osservare
scupolosamente tutte le norme di sicurezza durante la guida. Questi
articoli sono considerati DPI (dispositivi di protezione individuale)
ai sensi del Regolamento Europeo (UE) 2016/425. Questi stivali
sono stati sottoposti a un esame di tipo CE dall’organismo notificato
specificato in questo libretto. Si veda tabella 1.
Il regolamento in questione serve a tutelare la salute e a garantire la
sicurezza degli utenti dei DPI scelti. In conformità con il Regolamento
(UE) 2016/425, questi stivali forniranno una protezione limitata contro
l’impatto con oggetti di piccole dimensioni, vibrazioni, abrasione e
tagli provocati da oggetti contundenti.

LIMITAZIONI D’USO
Questi stivali REV’IT! sono stati appositamente studiati per essere
utilizzati alla guida di motocicli e forniscono una protezione limitata
contro gli urti, le abrasioni su superfici stradali e i tagli provocati
da oggetti contundenti. Fare attenzione: nessun paio di stivali può
fornire una protezione completa contro lesioni. Tuttavia, in caso
di scontro, caduta, collisione, perdita di controllo o altri eventi
che possono risultare in un incidente, possono ridurre il rischio di
lesione o ferita. Assicurarsi che il prodotto venga usato e che calzi
correttamente.
AVVERTENZE
Gli stivali REV’IT! sono stati progettati per il motociclismo; tuttavia,
è responsabilità dell’utente, e non del produttore, determinare se
lo stivale scelto sia adatto allo scopo desiderato. Non utilizzare
mai un prodotto che sia usurato, modificato o danneggiato.
Qualsiasi alterazione o uso improprio può danneggiare il prodotto e
comportare prestazioni di livello qualitativo inferiore e, pertanto, non
autorizzate. Non esporre gli stivali a temperature estreme, a prodotti
petrolchimici, solventi o vapori di solventi o trattarli in modo diverso
dalla destinazione d’uso del prodotto in quanto ciò potrebbe ridurne
sensibilmente il livello di protezione.

È consigliabile fissare correttamente le chiusure e i meccanismi di
fissaggio principali degli stivali REV’IT! prima del loro utilizzo in sella
a un motociclo. In caso contrario, la capacità degli stivali di fornire
protezione in caso di incidenti risulterà fortemente limitata. Non
guidare mai con le chiusure principali aperte.
REV’IT! non fornisce alcuna garanzia o assicurazione espressa o
implicita volta a stabilire che un determinato prodotto sia idoneo
all’uso previsto. REV’IT! declina sin d’ora qualsiasi responsabilità per
ogni uso improprio che metta in pericolo la sicurezza di chi indossa
un indumento. Non viene fornita alcuna garanzia o assicurazione
espressa o implicita relativa alla capacità degli stivali di prevenire il
rischio di lesioni quando si è in sella ad un motociclo. REV’IT! declina
pertanto qualsiasi responsabilità in caso di eventuali lesioni subite
quando si indossa uno dei suoi prodotti.
DICHIARAZIONE DI INNOCUITÀ
Gli stivali REV’IT! sono conformi alle normative UE relative alle
sostanze pericolose. Pertanto non contengono sostanze tossiche,
cancerogene, mutagene o altre sostanze che possono essere
nocive per la salute. Inoltre, gli stivali REV’IT! soddisfano le normative
europee sui coloranti azoici. REV’IT! non è a conoscenza di reazioni
allergiche causate dal contatto con la pelle. In caso si verifichi una
reazione allergica imprevista, contattare l’assistenza clienti di REV’IT!
e interrompere l’uso del prodotto.
USO CON ALTRI DISPOSITIVI DI PROTEZIONE INDIVIDUALE
Per ottenere i massimi livelli di protezione in caso di incidente, gli
stivali REV’IT! devono essere utilizzati insieme a DPI compatibili
e correttamente indossati che forniscano copertura alle aree del
corpo non protette solo da questi stivali. In altre parole, è necessario
utilizzare un pacchetto completo di DPI che comprenda un casco,
stivali, guanti, una giacca, pantaloni, o un guscio protettivo o una
tuta intera o divisibile.
VESTIBILITÀ/TAGLIE
Durante la scelta degli stivali, scegliere un paio della giusta taglia
e comodo quando si assume la posizione di guida. Assicurarsi di
poter manovrare facilmente il motociclo.
Per fornire la migliore protezione possibile, è necessario scegliere
gli stivali della giusta taglia. All’interno di ogni stivale REV’IT! si trova
un’etichetta con la taglia europea. Per scegliere la taglia corretta,
controllare le dimensioni del piede o rivolgersi al concessionario
REV’IT!.
Al fine di beneficiare appieno della protezione offerta dagli stivali,
è necessario assicurarsi di quanto segue: Le chiusure sono state
allacciate e fissate in modo sicuro prima di montare in sella ed
effettuare ulteriori controlli per sincerarsi che non vi siano estremità
allentate o sospese che potrebbero rimanere incastrate nei

meccanismi del veicolo durante la guida. Le chiusure e i meccanismi
di fissaggio principali di questi stivali devono sempre essere
allacciati in modo sicuro durante l’uso alla guida del motociclo,
altrimenti la capacità protettiva degli stivali in caso di incidente
potrebbe essere notevolmente ridotta.
La scelta di stivali di taglia errata può ostacolare la libertà di
movimento di chi li indossa e determinare condizioni di guida
pericolose. Questo dispositivo di protezione individuale (DPI)
fornisce ai motociclisti la massima protezione solo se gli stivali sono
stati scelti in conformità con le istruzioni fornite. Il concessionario può
fornirvi ulteriori informazioni dettagliate e aiutarvi a scegliete la taglia
e i sistemi di fissaggio.
CURA
Si consiglia di pulire gli stivali dopo ogni utilizzo. Si consiglia di non
indossare stivali non impermeabili in caso di pioggia. Se gli stivali
in pelle dovessero bagnarsi, lasciarli asciugare in modo naturale.
Non lasciare gli stivali nelle vicinanze di o che entrino a contatto
con una fonte di calore o siano esposti alla luce diretta del sole,
altrimenti la pelle si irrigidirà. Gli stivali in materiale tessile possono
contenere parti in cuoio. Tali stivali dovranno essere trattati come
capi in pelle. Per gli stivali impermeabili: evitare qualsiasi contatto
con oggetti appuntiti che potrebbero forarne l’inserto impermeabile.
Evitare qualsiasi contatto con solventi, benzina o detergenti in
quanto le proprietà caratteristiche (ad esempio il colore) degli stivali
potrebbe cambiare. Pulire gli stivali manualmente con un panno
umido e non usare acqua calda. Rimuovere le macchie difficili
utilizzando un sapone neutro o un detergente speciale per pelli o
tessuti. Non utilizzare la lavatrice, la lavatura a secco o dispositivi ad
alta pressione per pulire il prodotto, poiché le alte temperature e la
pressione potrebbero danneggiare il prodotto.
MANUTENZIONE
Ispezionare gli stivali prima e dopo ogni utilizzo per verificare
la presenza di eventuali segni di danni a materiali, cuciture,
meccanismo di chiusura e parti protettive. Assicurarsi che tutti i
dispositivi di fissaggio funzionino correttamente e secondo la loro
destinazione d’uso. Dopo qualsiasi incidente, gli stivali dovranno
essere ispezionati accuratamente da un concessionario autorizzato
REV’IT!, se possibile. Eventuali danni dovranno essere riparati in
modo professionale oppure gli stivali dovranno essere sostituiti.
CONSERVAZIONE
È consigliabile conservare gli stivali in un ambiente asciutto e
ben ventilato, lontano dalla luce solare e da fonti dirette di calore.
Non lasciarli sotto oggetti pesanti. Assicurarsi che gli stivali siano
completamente asciutti prima di riporli. Conservando gli stivali
bagnati o in un ambiente non ventilato, potrebbero insorgere
deformazioni e gli stivali potrebbero danneggiarsi.
