HAIR DRYER
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance is intended for household use only.
The appearance of this appliance may differ from the illustration.
Only use this appliance for its intended purpose as described in this manual.
Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.
IONIC TECHNOLOGY™- Negative ions produced by this anti-static, IONIC hair
appliance nourish and condition your hair, leaving it looking and feeling soft, smooth and
shiny. Negative ions also reduce the size of water droplets on your hair. These smaller
droplets evaporate faster, reducing drying time. The IONIC function automatically
operates when the unit is switched on.
FOLDING HANDLE - Twist handle to release from folded position and click it into
place for use, for storage reverse process.
HEAT AND SPEED CONTROL - High temperatures and speed settings are ideal
for fast drying or rough drying before styling; low temperatures and speed settings are
ideal for styling and use on extensions.
OVERHEATING CUT-OFF - This appliance is equipped with a thermostat that will
cycle OFF (0) should the heat of the dryer exceed the optimum drying level, due to
partially blocked air inlet or outlet openings. In the event that the appliance stops,
turn the appliance OFF (0) and allow it to cool down. Once the appliance cools,
the thermostat will automatically reset and usage may resume.
COOL SHOT BUTTON - Once the desired style is achieved, push the cool shot
button ( ) to set the style with a flow of cool air.
SMOOTHING CONCENTRATOR - Channels airflow for smooth, manageable
drying. Do not concentrate the airflow on any one area for an extended period of time.
If you desire to dry your hair quickly, remove the attachment and set the dryer to a high
heat and speed setting. Before drying thick hair with this attachment, use the dryer on
the high setting to remove excess moisture.
STYLING - Always towel-dry hair before using a hairdryer. Set the dryer on a high
heat/speed setting and circulate airflow through the hair. Do not concentrate airflow on
any one area for a long period of time. As soon as hair is almost completely dry,
lower the heat/speed setting and use a styling brush to shape the hair.
REMOVABLE END CAP CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS - This dryer is a precision
designed professional tool, it must breathe to operate at peak efficiency. Always check
that the air intake is free from lint, hair and other matter. Do not attempt this when
the dryer is operating or connected to the mains supply. Turn off the appliance before
cleaning the end cap. Hold the end cap at both sides and rotate it anti-clockwise to
remove it from the dryer. Clean with a vacuum or thoroughly dust off the end cap with a
brush and replace it on the dryer. This should be done regularly.
HANGING RING - This dryer features a ring allowing it to be conveniently hung on a
hook for easy access.
CLEANING - Always unplug the appliance from the mains after use and allow it to
cool before cleaning. Wipe the outer surface of the dryer with a slightly moist cloth,
then wipe dry.
STORAGE - Always unplug when not in use.
Allow the appliance to cool before storing. Always store in a dry location. Do not pull
or twist the cord. Do not wrap the cord around the appliance, as this may cause the
cord to wear prematurely and break. Regularly check the power cord for wear and
damage (particularly where it enters the appliance and the plug).
