SAFETY INFORMATION
Please read and understand this entire manual before attempting to assemble, operate
or install the product. If you have any questions regarding the product, please call our
customer service at 1-855-CHANT-US(1-855-242-6887) from 8:00am to 5:00pm Eastern
time, Monday through Friday for assistance.
1. The installation of this appliance must conform with local codes or, in the absence of local
codes, with either the National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223.1/NFPA 54, or Natural Gas and
Propane Installation Code, CSA/CGA-B149.1.
2. This grill is intended for use outdoors and should not be used in a building, garage or any
other enclosed or covered area.
3. This outdoor grill is not intended for installation in or on recreation vehicles and/or boats.
4. A minimum clearance of 36 inches from combustible constructions to the sides of the grill and
36 inches from the back of the grill to combustible constructions must be maintained.
This outdoor cooking gas appliance must not be placed under overhead combustible
construction.
5. The use of an electrical source requires that when installed, the grill must be electrically
grounded in accordance with local codes or, in the absence of local codes, with ANSI/NFPA 70,
or the Canadian Electrical Code, CSA C22.1. Keep electrical supply cords and the fuel supply
hose away from heated surfaces.
6. Inspect the hoses before each use for excessive abrasion or wear, or cuts that may affect
safe operation of the grill. If there is evidence of excessive abrasion or wear, or the hose is cut,
it must be replaced prior to the grill being put into operation. The replacement hose assembly
must be those specified by the manufacturer.
7. Keep your grill in an area clear and free from combustible materials, gasoline and other
flammable vapors and liquids.
8. Do not touch metal parts of grill until it has completely cooled (about 45 minutes) to avoid
burns, unless you are wearing protective gear (pot holders, gloves, BBQ mittens, etc…).
9. DO NOT obstruct the flow of combustion and ventilation air to this appliance.
10. Keep the ventilation openings of the tank enclosure free and clear from debris.
11. Check all gas connections for leaks with a soapy water solution and brush. Never use an
open flame to check for leaks.
12. Never use charcoal in the grill.
13. Never use the grill in windy areas.
14. Only a 20 lb. LP-gas cylinder is allowed. The cylinder must
be constructed and marked in accordance with the
Specifications for LP Gas Cylinders of the U.S. Department of
Transportation (D.O.T.) or the National Standard of Canada,
CAN/CSA-B339, Cylinders, Spheres and Tubes for
Transportation of Dangerous Goods; and Commission.
A 20 lb. LP-Gas cylinder’s dimensions are:
15. Never use the grill without the drip tray installed and hung under the burner box. Without the
drip tray, hot grease and debris could leak downward and produce a fire hazard.

16. Use only the gas pressure regulator supplied with this appliance. This regulator is set for an
outlet pressure of 11.0 wc
17. The cylinder used must include a collar to protect the cylinder valve.
18. Do not store a spare LP-gas cylinder under or near this appliance.
19. Never fill the cylinder beyond 80 percent full.
20. If the information in “17” and “18” is not followed exactly, a fire causing death or serious
injury may occur.
21. The outdoor cooking gas appliance must be isolated from the gas supply piping system by
closing its individual manual shutoff valve during any pressure testing of the gas supply system
at test pressures equal to or less than 1/2 psi (3.5 KPa).
22. CALIFORNIA PROPOSITION 65 WARNING:
(a)The burning of gas cooking fuel generates some byproducts which are on the list of
substances known by the State of California to cause cancer, reproductive harm, or other birth
defects. To reduce exposure to these substances, always operate this unit according to the use
and care manual, ensuring you provide good ventilation when cooking with gas.
(b)Handling the brass material on this product exposes you to lead, a chemical known to
the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Wash
hands after handling.
(c)This product contains chemicals, including lead and lead compounds, known by the
State of California to cause cancer, reproductive harm, or other birth defects.
(d) Wash your hands after using this product.
IMPORTANT: We urge you to read this manual carefully and follow the recommendations
enclosed. This will ensure you receive the most enjoyable and trouble-free operation of
your new gas grill. We also advise you retain this manual for future reference.
WARNING: Your grill has been designed to operate using only the gas specified by
the manufacturer on the rating plate. Do not attempt to operate your grill on other gases.
Failure to follow this warning could lead to a fire hazard and bodily harm and will void
your warranty.
WARNING: Make certain your LP (propane) tank is filled by a reputable propane
dealer. An incorrectly filled or an overfilled LP tank can be dangerous. The overfilled
condition combined with the warming of the LP tank (a hot summer day, tank left in the
sun, etc.) can cause LP gas to be released by the pressure relief valve on the tank since
the temperature increase causes the propane to expand. LP gas released from the tank
is flammable and can be explosive. Refer to your Owner’s Manual for more information
concerning filling your LP tank.

HARDWARE CONTENTS
ASSEMBLY PREPARATION
Before beginning assembly of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with
package contents list and hardware contents list. If any part is missing or damaged, do not
attempt to assemble the product.
NOTE: Some parts come with screws pre-installed. Loosen and tighten for final assembly.
Estimated Assembly Time: 1 hour by two people
Tools required for assembly:
* Phillips Head Screwdriver 1pc (not included);
* Wrench 2pcs (not included)

IMPORTANT: ASSEMBLE ON FLAT AND SOFT SURFACE TO AVOID SCRATCHING.
1. Put Left Back Leg (43) and Left Front Leg (44) into Leg End Cap (45) as shown.

2. Assemble Left Side Cart Frame.
2.1. Loosen pre-assembled M6X16mm Screws from “X”Position and leave the screw heads
protruding approximately 5mm.
2.2.Attach Drip Tray Support (34) and Left Side Beam (46) to Left Front Leg (44) and Left
Back Leg (43), then fasten the screws on “ X ”position.
2.3. Take another 2pcs AA Screws from the hardware pack, and fasten the screws on “Y”
position.
Note: Be sure part 34 is installed correctly as per the image shown.

4. Thread Axle (40) through the Wheel (37), Right Front Leg (39), Right Back Leg (33) , then
fasten DD nut as shown.
3. Assemble Right Side Cart Frame.
3.1. Loosen the pre-assembled M6X16mm Screws from “X”position as shown below, and
leave the screw heads protruding approximately 5mm.
3.2. Attach Drip Tray Support (34) and Right Side Beam (38) to Right Front Leg (39) and Right
Back Leg (33) then fasten the screws on “X”position.
3.3. Take another 2pcs AA Screws from hardware pack, and fasten the screws on “Y”position.
Note: Be sure part 34 and 38 are installed correctly as per the image shown.

5. Attach Rear Beam.
5.1.Loosen the pre-assembled M6X16mm Screws from Left Back Leg (43) and Right Back Leg
(33), leave the screw heads protruding approximately 5mm.
5.2.Hang Rear Beam (42) onto Left & Right Back Leg on the screws and hand tighten only the
screws on this point.
6. Assemble lower Front panel, then assemble the upper panel.
6.1. Loosen the pre-assembled M6X16mm Screws from Left Front Leg (44) and Right Front
Leg (39), leave the screw heads protruding approximately 5mm.
6.2. Attach 2 pcs Front Panel (41) to the cart and fasten the screws as shown. Then fully
tighten all the screws of rear beam this time.

7. Attach Drip Tray (32) and Grease Cup (31) onto the cart as shown.
8. Attach Firebox Assembly onto the cart.
8.1. Untie the Regulator & Hose (21) and Side Burner valve & manifold (19) from inside of the
control panel and hang it outside of the cart to the right as the picture shown.
. 8.2. Attach the Firebox Assembly onto the cart and fasten AA Screws as shown.

9. Attach Left Side Shelf onto firebox.
9.1. Attach 2pcs AA Screws into the upper two holes on left side of firebox. Leave the screw
heads protruding approximately 5mm.
9.2.Hang Left Side Shelf onto the screws, attach another 3pcs AA Screws on the lower three
holes and fully tighten all 5 screws to secure left side shelf to the grill.
10. Attach Side Burner Shelf onto firebox
10.1.Attach 2pcs AA Screws into the upper two holes on right side of firebox. Leave the screw
heads protruding approximately 5mm.
10.2.Hang Side Burner Shelf onto the screws, then attach another 3pcs AA Screws on the
lower three holes and fully tighten all 5 screws to secure side burner shelf to the grill.

12. Attach Knob Bezel (23) to Side Burner Front Panel Assembly (12) and Side Burner
Manifold & Gas Valve Assembly (19) with 2 CC Screws.

11. De-assemble the Side Burner, Side Burner Trivet
11.1. Take out Side Burner Trivet (8) .
11.2. Take out side burner (9) by loosening 2 screws as shown

13. Re-assemble Side Burner, Side Burner Trivet.
13.1. Slide the Side Burner tube (9) in and make sure side burner injector insert into the burner
tube as shown.
13.2. Insert the ignition wire and screw 2pcs screw as shown below.
13.3. Attach the side burner Trivet (8).
14. Attach Bottle Opener (15) to Left Side Shelf Front Panel (14) using 2 pcs BB screws.

15. Put Knobs (24) to Knob Bezels (23).
16. Assemble hood handle
Attach Lid Handle (5) together with Lid Handle Bezels (4) onto Lid Assembly and fasten the
screws.

19. Attach Hose Clip Hook.
19.1.Loosen the pre-assembled M6X16mm Screws form Right Front Leg Assembly (39) ,and
then attach Hose Clip Hook (35) and fasten the screws.
19.2.Pull out the Hose Clip Hook (35) and secure the hose into the hook.
20. Attach Gas Cylinder Hook (36) to Right Front Leg (39) and Right Back Leg (33).

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
LIQUID PROPANE GAS INSTALLATION
Gas grills that are set to operate with Liquid Propane Gas come with a high capacity hose and regulator
assembly. (Note: Only use the pressure regulator and hose assembly supplied with the
grill or a replacement pressure regulator and hose assembly specified by the
manufacturer). This assembly is designed to connect directly to a standard 20 lb. L.P. Tank. L.P.
tanks are not included with the grill. L.P. tanks can be purchased separately at an independent dealer.
Connecting a Liquid Propane Gas Tank to the Grill:
1. Place a 20 Ib. tank into the slot on right side beam, then put down gas cylinder hook onto the
tank. See Fig. 1.
Make sure the tank valve is in the OFF position.
2. Check the tank valve to ensure it has proper external mating threads to fit the hose and
regulator assembly provided (Type 1 connection per ANSI Z21.58b-2002).
3. Inspect the valve connection port of the regulator assembly. Look for damage or debris.
Remove any debris. Inspect hose for damage. Never use damaged or plugged equipment.
4. Make sure all burner knobs are in the OFF position.
5. Connect the hose and regulator assembly to the tank valve（See Fig. 2）Hand tighten the
quick coupling nut clockwise to a full stop. DO NOT use a wrench to tighten because it could
damage the quick coupling nut and result in a hazardous condition.
