GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
It is important to keep this instruction manual near the appliance for future
consultation.
If the appliance is sold or transferred to another user, make sure this
manual remains with the appliance so that the new owner is informed
about the warnings and operation of the appliance. These instructions are
given for safety reasons and they must be ready carefully before installing
or using the appliance.
• The appliance must be connected to water and electric supply by qualied tradespersons only
and according to local regulations.
• The appliance must be used by adults only. Do not let children play with, or operate this
machine.
• Only persons trained to use this dishwasher are permitted to operate it.
• This appliance has been designed to wash food preparation and eating utensils. It has NOT
been designed to wash objects soiled with petrol, paint, remnants of steel or iron, corrosive
chemical products such as acids, alkalis, or solvents or any item that cannot be immersed in
water.
• Do not open the appliance door or lift hood while the appliance is operating. The appliance has
a safety device which stops operation if the door or hood is accidentally opened.
• After using the appliance, isolate the electric and water supply.
• Do not attempt to repair the appliance. Repairs made by unqualied persons may cause further
damage.
• Repairs and servicing of this appliance must be carried out by Rhima personnel only.

Read the instruction manual carefully before starting the machine. The
warnings contained in the manual provide important information on safety
and installation, use and maintenance. Failure to observe the instructions in
the enclosed documentation may compromise the safety of the appliance and
immediately voids the warranty.
RISKS AND IMPORTANT WARNINGS
• The machine must NOT be kept powered up when not in use or when cleaning.
• NEVER use the machine to wash objects of any form, size or material not guaranteed to be
machine-washable or not in good condition.
• NEVER use the machine or any of its assemblies as steps or support for persons, property or
animals.
• NEVER overload the open door of front-loading machines, which is rated only to support the
basket loaded with dishes.
• NEVER use detergents or rinse additives not supplied by Rhima in this machine. The use of
chemicals supplied by others may cause damage to the machine and is in contravention of
your rental agreement.
• NEVER place your bare hands in wash solution.
• NEVER overturn the machine after it has been installed.
• If you notice any malfunction or uid leak, immediately disconnect the power supply and shut
o the water supply.
• Do not install the dishwasher in the vicinity of heat sources over 50ºC.
• NEVER leave the dishwasher exposed to the weather (rain, direct sunlight, etc.)
• The dishwasher may not be installed outdoors without proper cover.
• Never start a wash programme without the overow in the tub, as applicable.
• Never place magnetic objects in the vicinity of the machine.
• Do not use the top of the machine as a table or support.
• The installer is responsible for checking that the grounding system is fully operational.
• Max inlet water temperature: 50ºC - 65ºC
• Max inlet water pressure: 2.0bar - 4.0bar (200kPa - 400kPa)
• Appliance designed for permanent connection to the water supply
• Do not clean the appliance with steam or water jets.

• Turn on the main electrical switch and open the
external water tap.
• Check that there is enough detergent and rinse
aid in the tanks.
• Check the presence of the overow (when
included)
• Press the ON/OFF key (1) as shown alongside.
• The machine will automatically start lling. The
START button (3) ashes. When the machine is
ready, the button turns green and the time bar
illuminates completely.

Cycle selection and start-up
To ensure the correct operation of the dishwasher follow the rules described below:
• Wash the dishes immediately after use, in order to prevent any residue from hardening and sticking
on them.
• Use a suitable rack, ll without overloading and without and without overlapping the dishes.
• Always scrape the dishes before placing in the dishwasher; do not put dishes with dry or solid
residues in the washer without pre-soaking rst.
• Place the empty dishes in the rack facing downwards.
• Place plates and the like in the sloping rack, with the inner surface facing upwards.
• Place the cutlery in the cutlery basket, handle end down.
• Do not place silver and stainless steel cutlery in the same cutlery basket as this will turn the silver
brown and may corrode the steel.
• Use only solid, dishwasher-proof dishes.
• Based on the type of dishes and their
conditions, three types of cycles are available.

• Select the wash cycle that is suited for the
dishes to be washed. Repeatedly press the
key PROGRAMME SELECTION key (2) to
show the selected cycle on the display.
• To start the programme, press the START
button (3) as shown alongside.
• During the cycle, the key turns blue (5) and
the time bar shows the progress of the cycle.

Standard Programmes

• The cycle ends with two short beeps. The START key (3) of the selected programme returns to
green and the display shows the message ‘END’. The time bar ashes.
• A few seconds after start-up, it is possible to start the wash cycle in advance by pressing the
START key (3).
• In order to get rapid drying, immediately remove the rack from the machine at the end of the cycle.
This function is used to make the chosen cycle start automatically when the door or hood is closed. To
enable, proceed as follows:
• If not made available by default, the function must be enabled via the settings menu.
• With the appliance on and the door open or hood is up, press and hold (for at least ve seconds)
START (3) until A appears on the display.
• To disable the function, with the door open or hood is up press START (3) again for ve seconds.
Automatic cycle start-up
• Move the washing and rinsing arms at right angles to the edge of the door or opening.
• Remove the scrap screens and clean under running water.
• If necessary, extract the tub lter and clean.
• Replace tub lter and scrap screens and close the door.
• Press the PROGRAMME SELECTION key (2) until the display indicates (dr) on the display.
• Press START (3) to start the drain cycle.
• Machine will go into standby on completion of drain cycle.
Draining the dishwasher
• Remove the scrap screens and tub lter and clean under running water.
• Close the door.
• Press the PROGRAMME SELECTION key (2) until the display indicates (CLE) on the display.
• Press START (3) to start the self-cleaning cycle.
• Once completed ensure you replace the scrap screens and tub lter before next use.
• Machine will go into standby on completion of self-cleaning.

• Press ON/OFF (1), on the DISPLAY (4) the central segments will light up, indicating that the
machine is powered.
Turning the dishwasher off
• By holding the PROGRAMME SELECTION button (2) pressed for a few seconds you can display in
sequence the Boiler temperature, the Tub temperature and the number of cycles performed by the
machine.
This information can be displayed both before and during the wash cycle and will only be visible
temporarily.
Displaying information
IMPORTANT
• At the end of the day always drain the machine as described in the section Machine
draining.
• Disconnect the power supply by means of the main switch and close the external water tap.
• Perform daily maintenance and clean the machine as described in the section Maintenance.
• If possible, leave the door ajar or hood up to prevent bad odors building up inside the
machine.
End of shift
The wash and rinse arms are easily removed in order to clean their nozzles and prevent blockage/
encrustations.
Proceed as follows:
• Remove the wash arms by unscrewing the retaining nuts or by unclipping the quick-t attachments
on machines if equipped.
• Wash all parts under a jet of running water and clean the nozzles throughly, using a toothpick or
pointed tool if necessary.
• Clean the arm rotation pins inside the machine and the wash and rinse water drainage area.
• Restore the arms and check that they rotate freely.
