convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
11) Only use the attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
12) Use only with a cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the
manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution
when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over.
13) Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods
of time.
14) Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the
apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power supply cord or plug is
damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the
apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or
has been dropped.

Quick Start Guide
•Setup:
This quick start guide will assist you to setup your receiver within minutes.
You must read the entire user’s guide to learn how to use all the unique features
of the Rhinosat FTA digital satellite receiver.
Unpack your receiver box and plug
into wall socket. Turn on the receiver
and wait for opening screen to show
on your TV screen. Select Installation.
Then Ant. Setup.
Selecting the Ant. Setup will take you
directly to the antenna setup screen
where you will select the appropriate
satellite for your region.
Select your antenna number
Select your Satellite
Select your LNB frequency
Select your 2nd LNB Freq. if you have one
Select no to 12 volt
Select no to 22khz tone
Select your DiseqC A for 1, B for 2 etc
Or Auto if you prefer
No for C/Ku Band
Then press the blue button (CH Search)
On your remote control

Once you select your satellite you might
Notice that the strength & quality bars are gray.
This means your system is looking at a non active
TP. You can not begin downloading channels
If your bars are gray. You may get a Message
after channel scan saying (No channels Found).
Move your yellow bar by using down arrow key
to Transponder until it is highlighted with yellow.
Move the right arrow to switch TP from your first
TP to the second or third or fourth TP which ever
comes first with yellow bars on the strength bar
and the quality bar. Meaning as you move the
arrow to the right and once the S & Q bar becomes
Yellow this means you have locked on the first
active TP, so leave it there and do not switch any
further and now you are ready to begin scanning
For all free to air channels.
Then move the arrow to bottom of screen and
Highlight the (Search Sat). This has three selec
tions init. Search Sat or Search TP or Network
Search. Push the right Arrow and select search
TP.

Once You moved selection to (Search TP) now
Press the dark blue button on your remote
Control and which appears on your screen as
(Advanced Search).
Note : Advanced Search is similar to features
of Smart Search or Blind Scan.
You will now get a smaller screen with a
Menu called Search options. Highlight the
Fourth option on Search Type (Satellite) and
Push the right arrow and change option to
TP.
Once on TP , you are now ready to perform an
advanced system search. The receiver is now
going to search for all active transponders and
download the channels accordingly.
Now move your selection to the last option
At the bottom of the small sub screen and
Select Search, then press OK on your remote
Control. The system now will switch to the
Search screen to begin channel downloading

You will immediately see the channel download
Screen which is a TV/Radio list of all free to
Air channels being downloaded. The first screen
will look black foe few seconds until download be
gins. This is a normal effect. Please wait
For channel listing to show after few seconds.
In few seconds, the download begins and the
Channel names will show inside the block. Whil
e system is downloading channels, you will see
the yellow bar on the right saying (Searching).
Once searching is complete, it will turn into
(View). Please hit View and system will perform
a saving data procedure then goes into the main
screen to watch your television.
Depending on your software version, you may
Have different download screens. One might
Look like the one on the right and the other may
Look like the one above. Either way, the result is
The same.
Now, you can watch your free to air programs
And you can also check the program listing when
available by pressing EPG (Electronic Program
Guide). You can get 7 day EPG if available on your
satellite of choice. If you do not get EPG data
This is because your satellite of choice does not
Support EPG.

Do not forget to set the clock in your Rhinosat
To get full EPG (program listing). Check time
setting section in this manual to see details.
You will not get EPG if you do not set the
correct time zone in your receiver.

For Your Safety
This FTA-Model 725i has been manufactured to meet international safety standards. Please read all
of the safety and operating instructions before operating the product. And keep all safety and
operating instructions for future reference.
1. Main Supply : 90-250V AC, 50/60Hz, 30W
2. Overloading
Do not overload a wall outlet, extension cord, or adapter as this may result in fire electric shock.
3. Liquids
Do not expose the FTA-Model 725ito rain or moisture. The apparatus shall not be exposed to
dripping or splashing water and that no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on
the apparatus.
4. Cleaning
Disconnect the FTA-Model 725ifrom the wall outlet before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners or
aerosol cleaners. Use a light damp cloth for cleaning.
5. Ventilation
The slots on top of the FTA-Model 725imust be left uncovered to allow proper airflow to the unit.
Do not stand the FTA-Model 725ion soft furnishing carpets. Do not expose the FTA-Model 725ito
direct sunlight or do not place it near a heater. Do not stack electronic equipments on top of the
Brand Name. Keep distance about minimum 10cm from the wall when it’s installed.
6. Attachments
Do not use any attachments not recommended by product manufacturer as they may cause
hazards.
7. Connection to the Satellite Dish LNB
Disconnect the FTA-Model 725ifrom the mains before connecting or disconnecting the cable from
the satellite dish. FAILURE TO DO SO CAN DAMAGE THE LNB.
8. Connection to the TV
Disconnect the FTA-Model 725ifrom the mains before connecting or disconnecting the cable from
the TV. FAILURE TO DO SO CAN DAMAGE THE TV.
9. Earthing
The LNB cable MUST BE EARTHED to the system earth for the satellite dish. The earth system
must comply with SABS 061.
10. Location
Place the FTA-Model 725iindoor in order to prevent potential damage from lightning, rain, or
direct sunlight.
11. Servicing
Do not attempt to service this product yourself, as opening or removing covers may expose you to
dangerous voltage or other hazards. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.

Unpacking
Throughout this manual you will notice that the everyday operation of your FTA-Model 725i
is based on a series of user friendly on screen display and menus. These menus will help
you get the most from your Brand Name, guiding you through installation, channel
organizing, viewing and many other functions.
All function can be carried out using the buttons on the RCU, and some of the function can
also be carried out using the buttons on the front panel.
If at any time when you using the menus you want to return to the normal TV mode, press
the TV/AV button.
The FTA-Model 725i is easy to use, always at your command and adaptable for future
advances.
Please be aware that new software may change the functionality of the Brand Name.
In the case of your facing difficulties with the operation of your Brand Name, please consult
the relevant section of this manual, including the Problem Shooting, or alternatively call your
dealer or a customer service adviser.

INSTALLATION WIZARD
You can choose your preference for language and you can push NEXT to move to
next step or simply push CANCEL to go to a main page.
In next page, you can set up a timer and see a full list of satellite and push NEXT to
set up an Antenna set up and channel search through this installation wizard.
Once you properly install and connect cables of the receiver and turn the power on, the
Installation wizard will be automatically displayed as below.
You can start from this Installation wizard which enables end-users to set up the
receiver from a factory default or you can push CANCEL to set up the receiver from the
main page.

To move up and down, press “PR+ or PR-”. To move left and right, press keys on
