ASSEMBLY AND USE INSTRUCTIONS SAVE FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
Read all directions before starting any assembly. Make sure all parts listed blow are included. Scissors are required for
assembly. If any parts are missing, please contact your local supplier. Operation will require 1 D cell battery,TT Foam
and water.
See picture for parts reference.

1. Attaching the tank mounting bracket
Hang the tank mounting bracket onto the spreader box, usually near the foam drop location. Secure the bracket to
the spreader box using the thumbscrews provided - tighten as required.
2.Attaching the tank mounting hanger
Slide the tank mounting hanger through the tank mounting bracket.Attach the tank and cap assembly by pinching
inward and sliding into the holes on the cap.
3.Attaching the power unit
Install one D cell in your battery in the power unit in a convenient position for the operator to reach the
switch. Clean this area well, making sure the area is free of dust and dirt. Using the velcro®, attach one piece of Velcro
to the handle and the other to the back of the power unit with raised tabs. Attach the power unit with the air outlet
pointing down and battery compartment on the top side of the handle. Run cable ties through the tabs on the back
of the power unit to tighten the handle.

Thank you for purchasing the TurfTracker™ foam marking system.
Please read and follow all directions carefully to ensure proper
mounting and use of the system and longevity of the product.With

4. Installation of the air tubing.
Connect the section of air tubing from the air outlet on the power unit assembly. Once the length required is deter-
mined the excess tubing may be trimmed. Cable ties may be used to hold the air tubing in place.
Caution: DO NOT tighten the cable ties too tightly as to restrict air ow.
5. Foam tubing assembly - Broadcast spreaders.
Cut a piece of foam tubing a length that will reach from the tank assembly to the ground. Use the tubing mount and
cable ties as needed to route from the cap to approximately two inches above the ground.You are now ready yo
uose your foam marking machine.
TO USE YOUR NEW TURFTRACKER FOAM MARKING SYSTEM:
Your TurfTracker foam marking system is designed to work with TT Foam and water.The manufacturer recommends
use of distilled water, especially in hard water areas - use of any other water source may decrease performance of
the unit. Overlling the tank will initially decrease performance.
1.Add water.
Half ll the tank with water and add the required quantity of TT Foam. Agitate thoroughly and then add more water
to ll the tank to 3/4 full. See full instructions on TT Foam bottle.
2. Shake bottle.
Replace the cap assembly onto the tank. Return the assembly to the tank, reattach the hoses.
3. Run for 30 seconds.
Turn on the power and let the unit run for 30 seconds until the foam output is consistent. Begin spreading/spraying
with your new foam marking system.
WHAT TO EXPECT WITH YOUR TURFTRACKER:
After about 30 seconds, your foam output should become more consistent, with a drop of foam coming out of the
hose every 1 - 2 seconds. Foam output will become sporadic after approximately 20 - 30 minutes of continuous
running. Once the foam solution level drops below 5cm in the tank, stop and rell the container.
Perfomance of the foammarking system will greatly decrease once the liquid level drops below 5cm in the tank.
Normally, the foam will stay on the ground from 10 - 30 minutes, depending on weather conditions .The TT foam is
harmless the turf or plants, however, it is good practice to run an intial trial with the foam marker on an
inconspicuous area of turf.
CAUTION: DO NOT GET FOAM INYOUR EYES.
MAINTENANCE AFTER USE:
Fill the tank with hot water and run for approximately one minute.Thoroughly rinse the tank out with hot water,
Remove the battery. Make certain all components are dry.
TROUBLE SHOOTING:
Inadequate Foam Output: **Check Battery - Replace if necesssary. **Check Air line Connections - Make certain
air is not leaking at the pump tting and external and internal cap assembly ttings. **Check Cap Assembly - Cap
should be tted tightly on bottle. **Check foam tubing - Make certain foam tubing is free from obstructions. **Use
distilled water.**Increase amount of TT Foam used.
Takes too long to produce good foam: ** Use less TT Foam. **Only ll tank 3/4 full.
