To open casing, grip the enclosure with your left hand and press on
the center of the Rickard logo with your right thumb to release the
catch. A click will sound as it disengages and the bottom part of
the face will lift.
Rock the top shell side-to-side to free the top shell completely.
Note: Opening the Wireless Wallstat is for when the batteries need
replacing or when mounting.
Check that 2 x 1.5V AAA Lithium batteries are inserted securely.
Do not use standard AAA batteries. Only Lithium cells maintain
their Voltage until completely depleted. Batteries not included
unless supplied locally in South Africa.
To close, align the top corners of the shells first. Proceed to press
on the bottom pocket of the top shell to engage catch.
No draw box is required. It can be fitted to any flat vertical surface
that will give a representative room temperature sample. The diag-
onal slots shown allow horizontal and vertical alignment with 2
screws. Four additional mounting holes are provided if required.

Before assembly, make sure you have all the components.
1). Thermostat 2). Back-plate 3). Foot-plate 4). Rivets (x2)
Insert the narrow end of the Foot-plate through the bottom cutout
of the Back-plate until it reaches the stops.
Insert the short tongue of the Foot-plate into the slot in the bottom
of the thermostat.
Ensure the stand and the thermostat is aligned as shown.
Align the holes in the stand with the holes in the thermostat and
push the 2 plastic rivets all the way home.
The stand should be secure enough to stand on any flat surface.
