1.Turn on the Power
Turn on the power by pressing the POWER switch before playing. The pannel LCD
will light.

2.Demo
The digital piano has 10 demo songs, press [DEMO] to start. LCD shows: Demo 1 .
All demonstrations will be played in sequence repeatedly. You can select one of the
demonstration by using [+/-] buttons.

3.Set the Volume
Initially set the MASTER VOLUME at the middle between the"MIN" and "MAX" .
You can adjust the volume to accommodate your playing.
4. Using Headphone
For private practicing and playing without disturbing others.
Connect a set of stereo headphones to the phones jack. Sound
from the built-in speaker system is automatically cut off
when you insert a headphone plug into this jack.
5. Using External Sound System
The Line Out jack can be used to deliver the output of the piano to a keyboard
amplifier, stereo sound system, mixing console or tape recorder and used the
Line In jack you can also play the piano through an external amplifier/speaker
system.

6. Midi Connections
The Midi IN connector receives the Midi data from an
external Midi device which can be used to control the
instrument. The Midi OUT connector transmits Midi
data generated by the instrument to other Midi devices.

7. The Pedals
A footswitch can be plugged into the rear-panel PEDAL jack. It is similar to real
piano function. The Sustain Pedal functions as a damper pedal controlling sustain.
Press the pedal to sustain notes after the keys are released.
8.Select Voice
When [voice/style] button is unlighted, You can press [0-9] buttons to select 20
voices as follows, press any of 0-9 buttons, side A voice is selected, then press the
same button again, side B voice is selected.
Press [number] button, the indicator is lighted, then you can use [0-9] buttons to
select 01-137 voices. When selecting voice 100-137 , holding the [1] button till
the 1_ is displayed, you can enter the tens and ones digits.

9.Touch Effect
Press [TOUCH] button to turn touch sensitivity ON or OFF as required. When touch
sensitivity is ON. The sensitivity value [1-3] will appear on the Message Display
Area. You can select sensitivity value by [+] or [-] when value [1-3] are shown.
When touch is set to off, the same volume is produced no matter how strongly or
softly you play the keyboard. You can press [TOUCH] for few seconds. LCD will
show this volume value and you can adjust it by [+] or [-].

11.Select Dual Voice Mode
Press [DUAL] button to select layer voice mode, two voices will sound simulta-
neously when you play keyboards.
Press [DUAL] button , use the number [0]-[9] or [+]/[-] to select the second voice.

Each style has its own panel settings to accommodate with. These settings can be
recall by press [O.T.S] button.

.Select a Split Voice
Press [MODE] button until the Split function is turned on ,the split voice will
appear in the message display . Use [0-9] to select the left voice.

.Changing the Split Point
Select chord mode first use [mode] button, LCD shows C . Then Press
[MODE] button about 3 seconds later. You can play any keys to change the split
point.

Press [MODE] button to select split mode, S will appear on the MULTI DISPLAY.
Your keyboard will be split into two sections which means different voices can be
played with the left and right hands at the same time.

14. Chorus
Press [CHORUS] button to turn chorus effect ON or OFF as required. When chorus
effect is ON, it will make sound rich "fat" as if several parts are being played
simultaneously.
You can select chorus type by [+] or [-] when these type are shown in LCD.
You can also press [CHORUS] for few seconds, LCD will show chorus level.
You can adjust the level by [+]/ [-] or number keys.

13. Reverb
Press [REVERB] button to turn reverb effect ON or OFF as required. When reverb
effect is ON, it will make sound to produce warm ambience like hall or club depend
on the reverb type.
You can select reverb type by [+] or [-] when these type are shown in LCD.
You can also press [REVERB] for few seconds, LCD will show reverb level. you
can adjust the level by [+]/ [-] or number keys.

Auto Accompaniment
Your instrument has 109 accompaniment styles which can be used to provide
fully-orchestrated Auto Accompaniment.
When the Auto Accompaniment function is turned ON, this instrument create
fully-orchestrated rhythm, bass and chord accompaniment base on chords you
play with the left hand in the Auto Accompaniment section of the keyboard
(i.e. all keys to the left of the Auto Accompaniment split point). The right-hand
section of the keyboard is available for normal playing.

.Transpose
Transpose function make it possible to shift the pitch of this instrument up or down
in semitone intervals up to a maximum of 12 semitones.

.Changing the Chord Point
Press [MODE] button to select normal , then press [MODE] button about 3
seconds later, play any keys to change the chord point.
2. Auto Accompaniment Chord
Press [MODE] button to select chord mode. The letter C will appear on the
MULTIDISPLAY.
Turn on this mode. The specified left-hand section of the keyboard becomes the
Auto Accompaniment section, and chords played in this section are automatically
detected and used as a basis for fully automatic accompaniment with the selected style.

.Single Mode
Single Mode fingering makes it simple to produce beautifully orchestrated
accompaniment using major , seventh , minor and minor-seventh chords by pressing
a minimum number of keys in the Auto Accompaniment section of the keyboard .
The accompaniment produced is perfectly matched to the currently selected
accompaniment style.
.Major Chords:
If you press a C key in the left-hand section of the
keyboard, for example, a C-major accompaniment will
be played. Press another key in the left hand section of
the keyboard to select a new chord. The key you press
will always determine the "root" of the chord played
(i.e. C for a C chord).

3.Kb.Vol
This function can adjust three volume settings: main voice volume,split voice volume,
and dual voice volume.
Main voice volume(R): In normal mode, you can press [KB.Vol] button to select
R and use [+/-] buttons to adjust the whole keyboard volume.
Split voice volume (L): In split mode, you can press [KB.Vol] button to select
L or R and use [+/-] buttons to adjust left hand and right hand volume.
Dual voice volume: In dual voice mode, you can press [KB.Vol] button to select
D and use [+/-] buttons to adjust dual voice volume.

.Twin
Press [MODE] button to select Twin , letter T will appear in LCD. In this
mode, the keyboard will be separated into two play areas.

adjust keyboard volume.

.Tap
This useful feature lets you tap out the tempo for a song or an accompaniment
style. Simply tap the [TEMPO/TAP] button at the desired speed, and the tempo of
the song or the accompaniment style changes to match your tapping.
When the auto-rhythm isn't playing, it will be start automatically after your tapping.
.Number Select
When you input value using number button, you can get 100 or 200 by keeping
to press [1] or [2] for few seconds.

5. The Metronome Button
The metronome provides a click sound, giving you an accurate tempo guide when
you practise, letting you hear and check how a specific tempo sounds.
The metronome starts by pressing the [METRONOME] button. Adjust the metr-
onome beat type by [+] or [-] when the metronome type is shown in LCD. Beat
types include: 1/4,2/4,3/4,3/8,4/4,6/4,6/8,9/8. To stop the metronome, press the
[METRONOME] button again.
When the auto-rhythm or songs starts, you can also use metronome function. At
this moment, the metronome will run as the beat type and tempo of certain rhythm
or songs.

4. Tempo/Tap Control
.Set the Tempo
Push [TEMPO/TAP],you can use the [+] and [-] buttons to set the desired tempo.
Also the LCD of [NUM] is flash, it indicate that you can input tempo value by
number button.
The available tempo range is from 20 to 280 beats per minute. Each accompani-
ment style has a different "default" tempo which is automatically set whenever a
new style is selected (but it not used "default" when a new style is selected while
the accompaniment is playing).

2).Synchro Start
Press the [SYN] button, then the accompaniment will start when you play the first
chord on the AUTO ACCOMPANIMENT section of the keyboard.

3).Starting the Accompaniment with an Introduction
Any of your instrument accompaniment patterns can be started with an appropriate
introduction by pressing the [INTRO/ENDING] button directly.
If you press the [SYNC] button and then press the [INTRO/ENDING] button,
the accompaniment will start from the introduction as soon as a chord is detected
in the AUTO ACCOMPANIMENT section of the keyboard.

6. Accompaniment Control
1).Straight Start
The [START/STOP] button starts the selected accompaniment style immediately.
Selecting the CHORD mode before starting the accompaniment. The accompani-
ment will start with the rhythm sound only when the [START/STOP] button is
pressed, then the bass and chord parts will playing as soon as the first note or
chord is played on the Auto Accompaniment section of the keyboard.
A different accompaniment style can be selected at any time while the accompa-

5).Stopping the Accompaniment
An accompaniment progress can be stopped immediately by pressing the
[START/STOP] button and also can be stopped with an appropriate ending
by pressing the [INTRO/ENDING] button.

6). Accompaniment Volume
The [ACC.VOL] buttons can be used to adjust the volume of the selected accom-
paniment.
.Press the [ACC.VOL] buttons
Press the [ACC.VOL] buttons, The current accompaniment volume value will
appear on .
.Set the Volume
Use [+/-] buttons to set the desired volume. The volume range is from 0 (no
sound) to 31(Max volume). Default 28

4).Adding Fill-In
Press [FILL IN] button at any time while the accompaniment is playing to add a
one-measure fill-in.
If you press the [SYNC] button and then the [FILL IN] button, the accompaniment
will start from the fill-in as soon as a chord is detected in the AUTO
ACCOMPANIMENT section of the keyboard.

Registration Memory
Your instrument registration memory can be used to store four sets of voice and
auto accompaniment settings that can be recalled during you playing at the touch
of one single button.
1. Memorizing the Settings
The panel settings listed above can be stored to any one of the 4 registration
memory buttons by pressing the [STORE] button, then press [M1] , [M2] , [M3]
or [M4] button, please note that anytime you store to a REGISTRATION MEMORY
button, all settings previously stored in that button will be erased and replaced by
the new settings.

2. Recalling the Settings
The settings stored to a REGISTRATION MEMORY button can be recalled simply
by pressing the appropriate button. The stored status example: Voice, Style, Tempo,
Acc.vol, Mode and so on will be restore on the LCD.

3. Reset the Settings
The factory setting can be reseted by pressing [+] and [-] buttons, when you turn
on the instrument. The user songs will be also deleted.
