no user-serviceable parts inside. Contact technical

4. Do not place objects on top of the clock.
5. Do not place the clock on an unstable table or
stand. The unit may fall, resulting in possible

6. Unplug the clock during lightning storms or when
the clock is not in use.
7. Pay attention to the safety purpose of the polar-
ized plug. If the provided plug does not fit into
your outlet, consult an electrician to replace the
obsolete outlet.
8. Protect the power cord from being walked on or
pinched.
9. Dispose of this product properly, respecting your
local laws for electronics and battery disposal.

INTRODUCTION
Thanks for purchasing this alarm clock from Rip-
tunes! Please read all of these instructions carefully
and keep them in a safe place for future reference.
GETTING STARTED
THE BACK-UP BATTERY
This clock includes a CR2032 battery to save all
programmed settings when household power is
interrupted. This is only a back-up battery and will
not operate the clock’s normal functions. Pull the
tab to activate the back-up battery, as seen below.
SETTING THE TIME
Attach the AC adapter jack to the back of the clock
and insert the cord into a 110V/120V household
outlet. When the clock is first plugged in, the display
will read “12:00 AM.”

To set the time:
1. Press and hold TIME SET for 3 seconds,
then release it. The hour will flash.
2. Use (-/+) to set the hour.
3. Press TIME SET again. Use the (-/+) buttons to
set the minute (hold - or +for rapid selection).
4. Press TIME SET once more to confirm and exit
the Time Set Mode.
CHANGING THE TIME FORMAT
Press 12/24HR to toggle between 12 and 24 hour
mode (the default is 12-hour time format). When
using the 12-hour time format, the AM/PM light will
appear to indicate AM or PM.
ALARM SET UP
1. Press and hold ALARM SET for 3 seconds, then
release it. The hour will flash. Use (-/+) to set
the hour (hold down - or +for rapid selection).
2. Press ALARM SET again. Use (-/+) to set the min-
ute. Press ALARM SET once again to confirm
and exit from Alarm Set Mode.
To toggle the alarm on or o, press ALARM ON/
OFF. The alarm icon will appear when the alarm is
on. The default alarm volume is maximum (90db).
Use the VOLUME knob on the back of the clock to
adjust the volume. It has a range of 30-90db.

You can always review the currently set alarm time
by pressing ALARM SET during normal operation.
When the alarm goes o, the alarm icon blinks. The
alarm will sound for 8 minutes unless interrupted.
The clock is equipped with GRAD-U-WAKE, meaning
that the alarm volume will increase gradually to the
preset volume in 5 to 8 seconds.
CHOOSING AN ALARM SOUND
1. Press ALARM SOUND. The alarm sound option
number will flash, and the alarm sound will
ring. Press ALARM SOUND repeatedly to choose
among five dierent alarm sound options:
01 = Beep 02 = Buzzer 03 = Bird Sound
04 = Piano Music 05 = So Music
2. If an alarm sound number, “02” for example,
flashes for more than 5 seconds, that alarm will
be set automatically and the clock will exit from
Alarm Sound Mode. Press any button on the
back except ALARM SOUND to confirm the alarm
sound quickly.

SNOOZE /TURN OFF ALARM
When the alarm goes off, press SNOOZE to tem-
porarily silence your alarm. The alarm will sound
again once the snooze period (9 minutes) is over.
To cancel the snooze and turn off the alarm for
the day, press any of the five buttons on the
back of the clock while the alarm is sounding.
The alarm will go off again at the same time the
next day.
BRIGHTNESS CONTROL
Adjust the DIMMER knob at the back of the clock to
change the display brightness.
USB CHARGING PORT
Connect a USB charging cable here to charge your
cellphone or other USB device. This is for charging
only and is not a data connection.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Be sure to replace the CR2032 battery every few
years or so to ensure your alarms still go o if there
is a loss of power.
A so cloth or a paper towel may be used to clean
your clock. Do not use corrosive cleaners or chemi-
cal solutions on the clock. Keep the clock clean and
dry to prevent any issues.

Riptunes™ warrants this product against defects in
material and workmanship to the original purchaser as
specified below provided product is registered online
within fourteen (14) days of purchase.
PARTS – if the product is determined to
have a manufacturing defect, within a
period of one (1) year from the date of the
original purchase, Riptunes™ will repair or
replace the product parts at no charge (for
parts) to you in the U.S.A. and Canada.
LABOR – if the product is determined to
have a manufacturing defect, within a
period of ninety (90) Days from the date of
the original purchase, Riptunes™ will repair
or replace the product at no charge to you
in the U.S.A. and Canada, After ninety (90)
days it will be the responsibility of the
consumer.
Shipping costs to and from our warranty service center
is the sole responsibility of the consumer.
To obtain warranty service by an authorized Riptunes™
service center, please email us at: support@rip-
tunes.com to obtain a Repair and Maintenance
Authorization (RMA) number and to locate the service
center nearest you. Once authorized, you must mail
the product, to the authorized Riptunes™ service
center in its original product packaging materials or
equivalent, to prevent damage while in transit.
Further, should Riptunes™ determine that the product
is outside of the Warranty term, Riptunes™ will return
the product to sender at sender’s expense without
being repaired or replaced, unless authorized by the
consumer to service the out of warranty product at
consumer’s expense. All handling or restocking charges
for returns and/or replacements shall be non-
refundable.
Riptunes™ specifically excludes from this warranty any
non-electric/mechanical attachments, accessories and
disposable parts including but not limited to outside
case, connecting cables, batteries and AC adaptors.
Riptunes™ reserves the right to repair or replace
defective products with the same, equivalent or newer
models.
We reserve the right to either repair or replace
product at our discretion. Replacement may be either
new or refurbished and while every endeavor will be
made to ensure it is the same model, if same model is
not available it will replaced with a model of equal or
higher specification.
Normal “Wear and Tear” is not covered by this
warranty. Further, Riptunes™ hereby reserves the right
to determine “Wear and Tear” on any and all products.
Tampering or opening the product casting or shell, will
void this warranty in its entirety.

INTRODUCCIÓN
¡Gracias por comprar este reloj despertador de
Riptunes! Por favor, lea todas estas instrucciones
cuidadosamente y consérvelas en un lugar seguro
para referencia a futuro.
COMENZANDO
BATERÍA DE RESPALDO
El reloj incluye una batería CR2031 de respaldo para
guardar todos los ajustes programados cuando se
interrumpe el suministro de energía. Esto solo es una
batería de respaldo y no permite que el reloj funci-
one normalmente. Jale la pestaña para activar la

12 hr, la luz AM/PM aparecerá para indicar si la hora
pertenece a AM o PM.
AJUSTANDO LA ALARMA
1. Presione y sostenga el botón ALARM SET por 3
segundos, y luego libérelo. La hora comenzará a
parpadear. Use los botones (-/+) para seleccio-

volumen máximo de la alarma es de 90 db. Utilice la
perilla VOLUME en la parte posterior del reloj para
ajustar el volumen, este tiene un rango de 30-90 db.
Usted siempre puede verificar la hora fijada para
activar la alarma presionando el botón ALARM SET
durante la operación normal.
Cuando se active la alarma, el icono de la alarma
parpadeará. La alarma sonará por 8 minutos a
menos que sea interrumpida. El reloj está equipado

automáticamente y el reloj saldrá del modo
de ajuste del sonido de la alarma. Presione
cualquier botón en la parte posterior del reloj
a excepción de ALARM SOUND para confir-
mar rápidamente el sonido de la alarma.

REPETIR/APAGAR LA ALARMA
Cuando la alarma se active, presione el botón
SNOOZE para silenciar la alarma temporal-
mente. La alarma sonará nuevamente en 9
minutos.
Para cancelar la repetición y apagar la alarma,
presione cualquiera de los cinco botones en la
parte posterior del reloj cuando la alarma está
sonando. La alarma se activará a la misma hora
al día siguiente.
CONTROL DE BRILLO
Ajuste el brillo de la pantalla con la perilla DIMMER
en la parte posterior del reloj.
PUERTO DE CARGA USB
Conecte un cable de carga USB al puerto USB para
cargar su teléfono móvil u otro dispositivo USB. El
puerto es sólo para cargar y no es una conexión
de datos.
INSTRUCCIONES DE CUIDADO
Asegúrese de cambiar la batería CR2032 cada pocos
años para asegurarse de que su alarma seguirá
sonando si hay una pérdida de suministro eléctrico.
Puede utilizar un paño suave o una toalla de papel
para limpiar el reloj. No utilice limpiadores corro-
sivos o soluciones químicas en el reloj. Mantenga el

La garantía no aplica si el producto ha sido dañado por
accidente, abuso, mal uso, o mala aplicación; ha sido

de usted. Una vez autorizado, usted debe enviar el

originales o equivalente, para prevenir daño en tránsito.
Además, si Riptunes determina que el producto está fuera
de los términos de Garantía, Riptunes retornará el
producto al remitente a cargo del remitente sin ser
reparado o reemplazado, salvo que haya sido autorizado
por el consumidor a dar servicio al producto fuera de
garantía al costo del consumidor. Todos los cargos de
manejo o por reposición por devoluciones y/o reemplazos
no serán reembolsables.

COMMENCER
LA BATTERIE DE SECOURS
Cette horloge comprend une pile CR2032 pour
sauver tout réglages programmés lorsque l’alimen-
tation du foyer est interrompu. Il s’agit uniquement
d’une pile de secours et ne fonctionnera pas avec
les fonctions normales de l’horloge. Tirez sur la
languette pour activer la batterie de secours, comme
illustré ci-dessous.
RÉGLAGE DE L’HEURE
Branchez la prise de l’adaptateur secteur à l’arrière
de l’horloge et insérez le cordon dans une prise
secteur 110V / 120V. Lorsque l’horloge est branchée
pour la première fois, l’aichage indiquera «12:00
AM».
