Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts

The baking surfaces get very hot. Touch the handles only.
Put the unit down onto a heat-resistant surface or mat.
In order to prevent heat from building up. do not put the unit directly underneath a cupboard. Ensure
that there is enough space all around.
Beware of steam coming out when you open the appliance.
The bread can burn, so never use the sandwich maker near or below curtains and other
inammable materials.

Starting-up the unit
Using the unit
A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the hazards resulting from entanglement or tripping over
a longer cord, This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk
of electric shock, this plug is intended to t into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not t fully
into the outlet, reserve the plug and try again. If it still does not t, contact a qualied electrician, and do
not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
Lightly grease the upper and lower plates with non-stick coating before the unit is used for the rst
time. Use the appliance for about 10 minutes with the lid closed (see "Using the unit"). The wipe it
down with a damp cloth.
Do not eat the rst wafes you make.
An extension cord may be used with care; however, the marked electrical rating shall be at least as great
as the electrical rating of this appliance. The extension cord should not be allowed to drape over the
tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over.
1. Put the plug into a grounded 120V, 60HZ socket. The red, LED (POWER) lights up.
2. Keep the wafe maker closed during the warm up period.

3. Open the cover and insert wafes. Close the lid gently and lock handles. The green control lamp goes
on after a few seconds, baking is nished.
4. Open the lid and remove the wafe(s) with a wooden fork or the like. Do not use pointed or sharp
objects to avoid damaging the coating of the baking surfaces.
5. The wafe maker should always be closed between baking.
6. The indicator light will illuminate when the plug is connected to the outlet; it will stay on during
preheating. The indicator light shuts off when appliance is preheated (preheat appliance for
approximately 2.5 minutes).
7. The average cooking time is about 2 minutes.

Basic wafe recipe

2 cups (500ml) our
2 tablespoons (30ml) sugar
1 tablespoon (15ml) baking powder
1 teaspoon (5ml) salt
1 3/4 cups (425ml) milk
1/3 cup (85ml) vegetable oil
2 eggs
Pull out the plug and allow the unit to cool down.
Brush away remains from the baking surfaces.
Clean the machine only with a slightly damp cloth.
Do not use abrasive detergents.
Combine our, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Whisk together milk, oil, and eggs, gradually add milk
mixture to the dry ingredients. Stir until just blended. Pour batter onto wafe baker.

Receta básica de gofre
Limpieza y mantenimiento
2 tazas (500ml) de harina
2 cucharada sopera (30ml) de azúcar
1 cucharada sopera (15ml) de levadure en polvo
1 cucharadita (5ml) de sal
1 3/4 tazas (425ml) de leche
1/3 taza (85ml) de aceite vegetal
Extraiga el enchufe y deje que la unidad se enfrie.
Sacuda los restos de la supercie de tueste.
Para limpiar la máquina utilice sólo un trapo ligeramente humedecido.
No aplique detergentes abrasivos.
2 huevos
Mezcle la harina, el azúcar, la levadura en polvo y la sal. Bata aparte la leche, el aceite y los huevos.
Vaya añadiendo, de forma gradual, la mezcla de la leche a los ingredientes secos. Remueva hasta que
esté bien mezclado. Vierta la masa on la plancha para gofres.

ENCHUFE DEL CABLE
Se suministra un cable de corriente corto para reducir el peligro que supone enrollarse o tropezar con
uno largo. Eate aparato tiene un enchufe polarizado (una clavijia es más ancha que la otra). Para reducir
el riesgo de choque eléctrico, este enchufe está diseñado para encajar en una toma de corriente
polarizada de una única forma. Si el enchufe no encaja del todo bien en la toma, reténgalo y vuélvalo a
intentar. Si sigue sin encajar. póngase en contacto con un electricista cualicado y no intente modicar el
enchufe de ningún modo.
Puede utilizarse un cable alargador si se tiene cuidado, no obstante, la capacidad eléctrica indicada
debe ser al menos igual de alla que la del aparato. No debería permitir que el cable alargador cuelgue
suelto de la mesa para que no tiren de él ni los niños se tropiecen.
Levante la cubierta y saque el gofre(s) con un tenedor de madera o similar. No utilice objetos con
punta o alados para evitar dañar la capa que recubre la supercie de tueste.
La plancha de gofres deberia estar siempre cerrada durante el intervalo entre usos.
EI indicador lumínico se iluminará cua do conecte el enchute a la toma de corriente; permanecerá
encendido durante el precalentamiento. EI indicador luminico se apaga cuando el aparato se
ha precalentado (precaliente el aparato durante aprox. 2,5 minutos).
EI tiempo medio de planchado suele ser de 2 minutos.

Primer uso de la unidad
Uso de la unidad
Introduzca el enchufe en una toma de corriente de tierra de 120V 60HZ. EI LED rojo (POWER) se
enciende.
Mantenga la plancha de gofres cerrada durante el tiempo que tarda en calentarse.
Levante la cubierta y coloque los gofres. Cierre la cubierta con delicadeza y asegure el cierre. La luz
verde se enciende después de unos segundos, el planchado ha nalizado.
Engrase ligeramente el plato superior y el inferior antes de usar la unidad por primera vez. Utilice
el aparato durante unos 10 minutos con la cubierta cerrada (véase "Uso de la unidad"). A continuación,
pásele un trapo húmedo.
No se coma las primeros gofres que haga.

Notas especiales de seguridad
