Warnings

Important Safety Instructions
1. Read instructions - All the safety and operating instructions should be read before the appliance is
operated

7. Power Sources - The appliance should be charged from a power supply only of the type described in

9. Long Periods of Non-Use - The Bluetooth Speaker should be unplugged from the USB charging source
when left unused for a long period of time.
10. Object and Liquid Entry - Care should be taken so that objects do not fall, and liquids are not spilled
into the enclosure through openings.
11. Damage Requiring Service - The appliance should be serviced by qualified service personnel when:
•The USB power connector has been damaged; or
•Objects have fallen, or liquid has been spilled into the appliance; or
•The appliance has been exposed to rain; or
•The appliance does not appear to operate normally or exhibits a marked change in
performance; or
•The appliance has been dropped, or the enclosure damaged.
12. Servicing - The user should not attempt to service the appliance beyond that described in the
operating instructions. All other servicing should be referred to qualified service personnel.

POWER/ VOLUME
CONTROL
Turn to power on or off. When powered on, turn to adjust the output
volume.

MICROPHONE CHARGE
DOCK
Place the wireless microphone into the charge dock in the upright
position. Note: In order to charge the microphone, the karaoke
speaker must be plugged in to a power outlet via the USB cable.

CHARGE INDICATOR LED
Lights up red during charging and goes off when fully charged.
Note: The speaker can be left connected to the charger when off or
in use; it will not overcharge.

LIGHTSHOW
Press once for disco lightshow only, press again for mood light only,
press a third time to turn the lightshows off. Press again to turn both
lightshows back on.

ECHO
Press once for echo, press again to turn the echo off.

BLUETOOTH INDICATOR
LIGHT
Flashes blue when searching for a Bluetooth device to connect to.
Once fully connected to a device the blue light will stay on.

BLUETOOTH
Press once to switch the Bluetooth searching mode on.

VOICE EFFECTS
Press to cycle through the voice effects. There are 4 voice effects +
normal voice to choose from.

WIRELESS ON / OFF
MIC VOLUME CONTROL
Turn to switch wireless on or off. When wireless is on, turn to adjust
the output volume of the wireless microphone/s. Note: switch off the
Wireless receiver by turning fully anti-clockwise when the mics are
not being used.

Initial Setup
Unpacking
Unpack the karaoke party speaker carefully. We recommend that you save the box and packing
materials in case you wish to store the speaker. Before setting up the unit, verify that the
following accessories are present:
•1 x USB power cable
•1 x AUX input audio cable
•1 x Wireless Microphone (RJK-POP-SOLO) or
2 x Wireless Microphones (RJK-POP-DUO)
Charging the Karaoke Party Speaker
Unwind the USB power cable to its full length; connect one end to the DC input jack on the back
of the speaker. Connect the other end to a USB power adapter or PC USB port. The charge
indicator LED will light up red to indicate charging. Charge for at least 4 hours before first use.
The charge indicator LED will go out when the speaker is fully charged.
Operation
Switching the Karaoke Party Speaker On/ Off
Turn the POWER/ VOLUME control forward to switch on. You will feel a click and a chime will
be heard. The speaker will power up in Bluetooth mode and will be actively searching for an
available Bluetooth audio device. To turn the speaker off, turn the POWER/ VOLUME control
anti-clockwise until you feel the click and cannot turn anymore.
Bluetooth Operation
The RockJam Party Speaker is a high-quality Bluetooth speaker. Music can be played through
the Speaker from a compatible Bluetooth device such as a mobile phone or tablet device.

After the power up chime you will hear a “Ding Dong” sound. This means the speaker is
searching for a Bluetooth device.
Using your mobile phone or other Bluetooth enabled device, search for Bluetooth devices and
select ‘RockJam K-POP’from the list of devices found. The Bluetooth device should then
connect to the karaoke speaker. You will hear the same “Ding Dong” sound when a successful
connection is established.
Song control
•Press the PLAY/ PAUSE button on the selected device (iPhone, iPod, MP3
player etc.) to alternately play and pause the song.
•Press the SKIP BACK button on the selected device (iPhone, iPod, MP3 player
etc.) to go back to the start of a track.
•Press the SKIP FORWARD button on the selected device (iPhone, iPod, MP3
player etc.) to go to the next track.
Volume control
The speaker output volume can be adjusted in two ways as follows;
•Adjust the volume on the Bluetooth device, mobile phone, tablet computer, iPad
etc.
•Turn the POWER/ VOLUME control at the right side of the speaker up or down.
Switching the Lightshow On/Off
Press once for disco lightshow only, press again for mood light only, press a third time to turn
lightshows off.
Voice Effects
Press the VOICE EFFECTS button to choose a voice effect. Cycle through the 4 different voice
effects and normal voice by pressing the button.

Listening to your iPhone, iPod, MP3 player etc. (AUX input)
You can listen to the sound of a connected external audio device such as an iPhone, iPod or
MP3 player through your speaker. Connect one end of the 3.5 mm jack cable supplied to the
AUX input socket located at the back of karaoke party speaker, and the other end to your audio
equipment (iPhone, iPod, MP3, PC, CD player, etc). The speaker will automatically change to
AUX input mode once the AUX IN cable has been inserted.
NOTE: Use the SKIP FORWARD/ BACKWARD controls of the connected audio device to
control the song playback.
Using the Microphone
You can sing along to any music playing from the karaoke speaker using the microphone
included. Adjust the microphone volume using the left dial and echo control as desired. If any
howling sound occurs, then stand further away from the speaker or reduce the music or
microphone volume until the howling stops. Be sure to switch the microphone on first using the
switch on the microphone.
NOTE: Do not tap or bang the microphone as this can cause damage to both the microphone
and speaker.
Troubleshooting Guide
If you encounter any issues while using the karaoke speaker then please check the following
before contacting the retailer or manufacturer for further help:
No power
• The power is not on; make sure the party speaker POWER/ VOLUME control is not turned
fully anti-clockwise.
• The karaoke speaker could be completely out of charge. Recharge the speaker using a USB
power supply and then try again.
No lightshow effect
• The Lightshow is probably just switched off. Press the LIGHTSHOW button to turn on the
lights.

No sound –Bluetooth mode
• Make sure that you are not trying to use Bluetooth while the AUX in cable is connected.
•The main volume could be set to minimum; raise the volume.
No sound –AUX Input mode
•Make sure the 3.5mm jack cable has been plugged in.
•Make sure the iPod/ iPhone/ MP3 player is connected properly and that a song is playing.
•Adjust the volume on the audio device.
No sound from the microphone
• Make sure the microphone is within wireless range to be able to connect to the speaker.
• Make sure the ON/ OFF switch on the microphone is set to the ON position.
• Make sure the WIRELESS ON-OFF/ MIC VOL control on the side of the speaker is not turned
fully anti-clockwise or set too low. NOTE: switch off the Wireless receiver by turning fully anti-
clockwise when the mics are not being used.
Bluetooth device pairing problems
Mobile phone or Tablet etc. cannot be paired or connected with the Karaoke Party speaker.
• You may not have activated the Bluetooth function of your mobile device; refer to
the Bluetooth device user guide.
• The speaker is not in pairing mode; switch the karaoke party speaker off and then on to restart
pairing or press the Bluetooth control button.
• Another Bluetooth device may be connected; disconnect that device before trying to connect a
new Bluetooth device.

Other Bluetooth problems
The music does not play on the karaoke speaker after successfully connecting with Bluetooth
• Ensure your Bluetooth device can support the A2DP Bluetooth profile.
• The volume on the external Bluetooth device is set to low or muted; raise the volume of the
Bluetooth device as required.
• The Bluetooth audio breaks up. Move the Bluetooth device closer to the party speaker or
switch off the ‘Wi-Fi’ on the Bluetooth device as that can sometimes improve the audio playback
quality.
Finding Karaoke Videos to Sing Along to
‘Karaoke videos’ can be found easily by searching online using a search provider such as
Google. YouTube is also a great source for Karaoke videos.

COMMANDE DE MISE EN
MARCHE/DU VOLUME
Mettre en marche ou arrêter. Lorsque l'appareil est sous tension,
tournez pour régler le volume de sortie.

STATION D'ACCUEIL
POUR MICROPHONE
Placez le microphone sans fil dans la station de charge en position
verticale. Remarque : Pour recharger le microphone, le haut-parleur
karaoké doit être branché sur une prise de courant via le câble USB.

INDICATEUR DE CHARGE
LED
S'allume en rouge pendant la charge et s'éteint lorsque l'appareil est
complètement chargé.
Remarque : Le haut-parleur peut être laissé connecté au chargeur
lorsqu'il est éteint ou en cours d'utilisation ; il ne surcharge pas.

SHOW LUMINEUX
Appuyez une fois pour le show lumineux disco uniquement, appuyez
à nouveau pour une lumière d'ambiance uniquement, appuyez une
troisième fois pour éteindre les lumières. Appuyez à nouveau pour
rallumer les deux shows lumineux.

ÉCHO
Appuyez une fois pour l'écho, puis appuyez à nouveau pour
désactiver l'écho.

BLUETOOTH
Il clignote en bleu lors de la recherche d'un appareil Bluetooth auquel
se connecter. Une fois entièrement connecté à un appareil, le voyant
bleu reste allumé.

Appuyez une fois pour activer le mode de recherche Bluetooth.

Appuyez sur cette touche pour parcourir les effets vocaux. Il y a 4
effets vocaux et une voix normale au choix.

Déballage
Déballez soigneusement le haut-parleur de soirée karaoké. Nous vous recommandons de
garder la boîte et l'emballage au cas où vous souhaitez stocker l'enceinte. Avant de configurer
l'appareil, vérifiez que les accessoires suivants sont présents :
•1 câble d'alimentation USB.
•1 câble d'entrée auxiliaire audio
•1 microphone sans fil (RJK-POP-SOLO) ou
2 microphones sans fil (RJK-POP-DUO)

Chantez clairement en direction de la
partie supérieure du microphone.
Remarque : Le volume du microphone
ne peut être réglé qu'à partir du haut-
parleur de karaoké principal.

POINT DE RECHARGE
Pour le chargement, assurez-vous que

Remarque : le voyant de charge du

s'allumer en rouge pour indiquer le

Charger le haut-parleur de soirée karaoké
Déroulez le câble d'alimentation USB sur toute sa longueur ; connectez une extrémité à la prise
d'entrée CC à l'arrière du haut-parleur. Connectez l'autre extrémité à un adaptateur secteur
USB ou à un port USB de PC. Le voyant de charge s'allume en rouge pour indiquer la charge.
Rechargez pendant au moins 4 heures avant la première utilisation. Le voyant de charge
s'éteint lorsque l'enceinte est complètement chargée.
Fonctionnement
Allumer/éteindre le haut-parleur de soirée karaoké
Allumez la commande de MISE EN MARCHE/VOLUME pour l'allumer. Vous sentirez un clic et
entendrez un carillon. Le haut-parleur s'allumera en mode Bluetooth et recherchera activement
un périphérique audio Bluetooth disponible. Pour éteindre le haut-parleur, tournez la
commande de MISE EN MARCHE/VOLUME dans le sens anti-horaire jusqu'à ce que vous
sentiez le clic et que vous ne puissiez plus tourner.
Fonctionnement Bluetooth
Le haut-parleur de soirée RockJam est un haut-parleur Bluetooth de haute qualité. La musique
peut être lue via le haut-parleur à partir d'un appareil Bluetooth compatible tel qu'un téléphone
portable ou une tablette.
Après le carillon de mise sous tension, vous entendrez un son de « Ding Dong ». Cela signifie
que l'enceinte recherche un appareil Bluetooth.
À l'aide de votre téléphone mobile ou d'un autre appareil compatible Bluetooth, recherchez des
appareils Bluetooth et sélectionnez « Rockjam K-POP » dans la liste des appareils trouvés.
L'appareil Bluetooth doit ensuite se connecter au haut-parleur karaoké. Vous entendrez le
même son de « Ding Dong » lorsqu'une connexion réussie est établie.
Commande de titre
•Appuyez sur le bouton PLAY/PAUSE de l'appareil sélectionné (iPhone, iPod,
lecteur MP3, etc.) pour alternativement lire et mettre en pause le titre.
•Appuyez sur le bouton REVENIR EN ARRIÈRE de l'appareil sélectionné
(iPhone, iPod, lecteur MP3, etc.) pour revenir au début d'une piste.

•Appuyez sur le bouton AVANCER sur l'appareil sélectionné (iPhone, iPod,
lecteur MP3, etc.) pour passer à la piste suivante.
Commande du volume
Le volume de sortie du haut-parleur peut être réglé de deux manières, comme suit :
•Réglez le volume sur l'appareil Bluetooth, le téléphone portable, la tablette,
l'iPad, etc.
•Tournez la commande de MISE EN MARCHE/VOLUME située sur le côté droit
de l'enceinte vers le haut ou vers le bas.
Activation/Arrêt du show lumineux
Appuyez une fois pour le show lumineux disco uniquement, appuyez à nouveau pour une
lumière d'ambiance uniquement, appuyez une troisième fois pour éteindre les lumières.
EFFETS VOCAUX
Appuyez sur le bouton EFFETS VOCAUX pour choisir un effet vocal. Parcourez les 4 effets
vocaux différents et la voix normale en appuyant sur le bouton.
Écoute de votre iPhone, iPod, lecteur MP3, etc. (entrée AUX)
Vous pouvez écouter le son d'un périphérique audio externe connecté tel qu'un iPhone, un iPod
ou un lecteur MP3 via votre haut-parleur. Connectez une extrémité du câble jack 3,5 mm fourni
à la prise d'entrée AUX située à l'arrière du haut-parleur karaoké et l'autre extrémité à votre
équipement audio (iPhone, iPod, MP3, PC, lecteur CD, etc.). Le haut-parleur passe
automatiquement en mode entrée AUX une fois le câble AUX IN inséré.
REMARQUE : Utilisez les commandes AVANCER/RECULER du périphérique audio connecté
pour contrôler la lecture du morceau.
