3. Do not abuse cord. Never carry or pull your grass trimmer by power cord.Keep the power cord
away from heat, oil, solvents and sharp edges. If the power cord becomes damaged, have it
replaced by an authorized service facility
4. Keep cord clear of operator and obstacles at all times. Do not expose cord to heated surfaces,
oil, water, or pull around sharp edges, corners, or close door on cord.
5. Ensure that the grass trimmer is disconnected from the mains supply when not in use, before
servicing, making adjustments or when changing an accessories (e.g. line, spool etc.)
6. Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces (e.g.pipes, fences)
7. Keep children, other people and pets away from the trimmer; the grass, which is cut and
dispersed, may contain stones and debris. Grass trimmer should be kept out of reach of
children, preferably stored or locked in a dry, high or locked up place when not in use.
8. Do not use a tool for a job for which it is not designed. Do not force a grass trimmer to do the
job of a heavy-duty grass trimmer. Do not use the grass trimmer for purposes’ not intended.

9. Always wear suitable clothing when using the trimmer to prevent head, hand or feet injuries.
Use a helmet, glasses (or visor), high boots (or sturdy shoes and trousers) and work gloves

damaged and the wire-holding spool is inserted correctly and securely.
11. Do not operate with damaged guards or without guard in place. Check regularly that the
screws are properly secured. Keep the guard clean for better and safer performance. Follow
the instruction for changing accessories. Check the power cord periodically. Keep handles
clean, dry and free from oil and grease. Ensure that ventilation slots are kept clean and free
from dust at all times, blocked ventilation slots can cause overheating and damage to the
motor.
12. Do not use the trimmer if the cutting device is not secured properly or is damaged.
13. Keep firm hold of handle and walk, never run. Keep firm footing and balance at all times.
14. 1Do not switch on the tool in enclosed or poorly ventilated spaces or in the presence of
inflammable and/or explosive substances such as liquids, gasses, and powders.
15. Turn the trimmer off and disconnect the plug when: the trimmer is not being used, it is left
unattended, it is being examined because it is not working correctly, the power supply cable is
damaged, the spool is being moved from one place to another.
16. Never pass the trimmer over the extension cable while the grass trimmer is working as this
could cut the cable. Make sure you always know where the cable is.
17. The grass trimmer should be supplied via residual current device (RCD) with a tripping current
of not more than 30 mA.
18. Before use check the supply and extension cord for signs of damage or aging. If the cord
becomes damaged during use, disconnect the cord from the supply immediately. Do not use
the grass trimmer if the cord is damaged or worn.
