CONNECTION TO A NEWER TELEVISION
1. The Karaoke Machine A will connect simply to most televisions through the Audio/Visual
inputs or scart socket. The scart plug is supplied.
2. Locate the Audio/Visual inputs on your television. If your television does not have
Audio/Video inputs, try connecting the Karaoke Machine through a VCR. The Audio/Video
inputs will be on the back or front of your television.
Please note: the connection must be IN, not OUT. If possible fit the scart plug.
3. Connect the yellow end of the Audio/Video cable E into ‘video in’ on the television. Connect
the white end of the Audio/Video cable E into ‘audio in left’ and the red end of the Audio/Video
cable E into ‘audio in right’ on the television or scart.
Please note: some televisions do not support both red and white audio cables in. Simply
leave the white ‘audio in left’ cable disconnected, and the Karaoke Machine will still operate.
4. Connect the remaining red, yellow and white Audio/Video connectors to the back of the
Karaoke Machine. You have now successfully connected the Karaoke Machine to your
television.
CONNECTION THROUGH A VCR
1. Locate the Audio/Video inputs or scart on the back or front of your VCR.
Please note: the connection must be IN, not OUT.

2. Connect the yellow end of the Audio/Video cable E into ‘video in’ on the VCR. Connect the
white end of the Audio/Visual cable E into ‘audio in left’ and the red end of the Audio/Video
cable E into ‘audio in right’ on the VCR.
Please note: some VCRs do not support both red and white audio cables in. Simply leave
the white ‘audio in left’ cable disconnected, and the Karaoke Machine will still operate.
3. Connect the remaining red, yellow and white Audio/Video connectors to the back of the
Karaoke Machine. You have now successfully connected the Karaoke Machine to your VCR.
OPERATION
1. After connecting the Karaoke Machine A to your television/VCR, plug the AC adapter into a
nearby wall outlet.
2. Plug the other end of the AC adapter F into the back of the Karaoke Machine.
3. Connect the microphone(s) into one of the four controller ports B on the front of the Karaoke
Machine.
4. Switch the Karaoke Machine on by pressing the power switch on the right hand side of the
machine.
5. The front LED indicator will blink red, indicating power to the machine.
6. Turn on the television/VCR and switch from TV to VIDEO*.
7. If your television has multiple video channels, tune your television until the TAO Music logo
appears on your screen.
8. Press the OPEN button Gon the front of the Karaoke Machine and the CD tray will pop out.
9. Place one of the included video CDs D into the tray and press OPEN again.
10. Press the PLAY button on the microphone C to start the video CD.
11. Make sure you turn on the power switch on the back of the microphone and turn up the
microphone volume on the left hand side of the Karaoke Machine.
* Since each television/VCR set up is different and unique, please refer to your television or VCR
users manual.
Switching from TV to VIDEO on a television:
One of the following options may apply to your set up:
Press TV/VIDEO on the front of the television
Press TV/VIDEO or INPUT button on the remote control
Press SOURCE on the remote control, choose INPUT, select VIDEO
Press DISPLAY on the remote control, choose INPUT, select VIDEO
Press AV on the remote control
Switching from TV to VIDEO on a VCR:
One of the following options may apply to your set up:
Press AUX, LINE or VIDEO channel below channel 2 on the VCR
Press INPUT button on the remote control
Press MENU on the remote control, choose SOURCE, switch to AUX or LINE.

TROUBLESHOOTING
If you have problems connecting the Karaoke Machine to your television or VCR ….
…. Refer to your television/VCR manual
If you can’t hear yourself when the CD is playing ….
…. Make sure that your Karaoke Machine microphone is switched on using the ON/OFF switch on
the back of the microphone. Adjust the microphone volume found on the left-hand side of the
Karaoke Machine. By turning the knob towards yourself you will increase the microphone volume.
If you get a lot of feedback …..
…. Your Karaoke Machine microphone has specially designed to amplify your voice and all other
surroundings. You may be standing too close to your television’s speakers or to another home

appliance that makes noise. If your television is connected to speakers, try turning the volume on
your television down and the volume on your speakers up
If your voice echoes a lot when you sing into the Karaoke Machine microphone ….
…. The echo function on the Karaoke Machine is designed so that amateur singers would sing
better. Try reducing the echo setting and ensure that the microphone is not too close to your
mouth – 1 to 1.5” away is ideal.

LIGAÇÃO A UMA TELEVISÃO RECENTE
1. A máquina de karaoke Aliga-se facilmente na maioria das televisões através das ligações
audiovisuais ou scart. O cabo scart é fornecido.
2. Localize a ligação áudio/video da sua televisão. Se a sua televisão não tiver entrada áudio/video,
tente ligar a máquina de karaoke através do vídeo. As entradas áudio/video devem estar parte
de trás ou na parte da frente da televisão.
Nota: A ligação deve ser IN e não OUT. Se for possível, ligue o cabo scart.
3. Ligue a ponta amarela do cabo Ena ligação “Video In” da televisão. Ligue a ponta branca do
cabo Ena ligação “Audio In Left” e a ponta vermelha do cabo Ena ligação “Audio In Right” na
televisão ou scart.
Nota: Algumas televisões não suportam o cabo vermelho e branco ao mesmo tempo. Nesse
caso, simplesmente deixe o cabo branco desligado, a máquina de karaoke vai funcionar na
mesma.
4. Ligue as outras pontas do cabo nas respetivas ligações na parte de trás da máquina de karaoke.
Agora ligou com sucesso a máquina de karaoke na sua televisão.

LIGACÃO ATRAVÉS DO VIDEO
1. Localize as entradas áudio/vídeo ou scart na parte de trás ou na parte da frente do seu vídeo.
Nota: devem ser as ligações IN e não OUT.
2. Ligue o cabo amarelo na ligação “vídeo in” do seu vídeo. Ligue o cabo branco na ligação “áudio
in left” e o cabo vermelho na ligação “áudio in right” do seu vídeo.
Nota: Alguns vídeos não suportam o cabo vermelho e branco ao mesmo temo. Nesse caso,
simplesmente deixe o cabo branco desligado. A máquina de karaoke vai funcionar na mesma.
3. Ligue as restantes pontas do cabo nas respetivas ligações na parte de trás da máquina de
karaoke. Agora ligou com sucesso a máquina de karaoke ao seu vídeo.
FUNCIONAMENTO
1. Depois de ligar a máquina de karaoke Ana sua televisão/vídeo, ligue o adaptador AC numa
tomada.
2. Ligue a outra ponta do adaptador AC Fna parte de trás da máquina de karaoke.
3. Ligue o(s) microfone(s) numa das quatro portas Bna parte da frente da máquina de karaoke.
4. Ligue a máquina de karaoke pressionando o botão de ligar no lado direito da máquina.
5. O LED indicador na parte da frente vai piscar em vermelho, indicando que a máquina tem
corrente.
6. Ligue a televisão/vídeo e coloque a televisão no canal de vídeo*.
7. Se a sua televisão tiver vários canais de vídeo, mude de canal até ver o logo TAO Music no
ecrã.
8. Pressione o botão OPEN Gna parte da frente da máquina de karaoke e a bandeja do CD irá
abrir.
9. Coloque um dos vídeo CDs Dincluídos na bandeja e pressione o botão OPEN novamente.
10. Pressione o botão PLAY no microfone Cpara iniciar o vídeo CD.
11. Verifique se ligou o botão na parte de trás do microfone e aumentou o volume do microfone no
lado esquerdo da máquina de karaoke.
*Uma vez que cada televisão/viseo tem uma configuração única e diferente, por favor consulte o
manual da sua televisão/vídeo.
Uma das seguintes opções pode aplicar-se à sua configuração:
Pressione o botão TV/VIDEO na parte da frente da televisão
Pressione o botão TV/VIDEO ou INPUT no controlo remoto
Pressione o botão SOURCE no controlo remoto, escolha INPUT, selecione VIDEO
Pressione o botão DISPLAY no controlo remoto, escolha INPUT, selecione VIDEO
Pressione o botão AV no controlo remoto
Mudar de TV para VIDEO no vídeo:
Uma das seguintes opções pode aplicar-se à sua configuração:
Pressione o botão AUX, LINE ou VIDEO abaixo do canal 2 no vídeo
Pressione o botão INPUT no controlo remoto
Pressione o botão MENU no controlo remoto, escolha SOURCE, mude para AUX ou LINE.

RESOLUÇÃO DE PROBLEMAS
Se tiver problemas a ligar a máquina de karaoke à sua televisão ou vídeo….
.… Consulte o manual da sua televisão/vídeo.
Se não se conseguir ouvir quando o CD está a tocar….
…. Verifique se o seu microfone está ligado usando o botão ON/OFF na parte de trás do microfone.
Ajuste o volume do microfone que está no lado esquerdo da máquina de karaoke. Rode o botão na
sua direção para aumentar o volume.
Se tiver muito feedback….
…. A sua máquina de karaoke foi especialmente concebida para amplificar a sua voz e todos os
restantes sons. Pode estar muito perto da sua televisão ou de outro aparelho doméstico que faça
barulho. Se a sua televisão estiver ligada a altifalantes, tente diminuir o volume da sua televisão e
aumentar o volume dos altifalantes.
Se a sua voz ecoar muito quando canta na máquina de karaoke….
…. A função de eco na máquina de karaoke destina-se a ajudar os cantores amadores a cantar
melhor. Tente reduzir as configurações de eco e não coloque o microfone muito perto da sua boca –
o ideal é à volta de 3cm.
