2. Connect the yellow end of the Audio/Video cable E into ‘video in’ on the VCR. Connect the
white end of the Audio/Visual cable E into ‘audio in left’ and the red end of the Audio/Video
cable E into ‘audio in right’ on the VCR.
Please note: some VCRs do not support both red and white audio cables in. Simply leave
the white ‘audio in left’ cable disconnected, and the Karaoke Machine will still operate.
3. Connect the remaining red, yellow and white Audio/Video connectors to the back of the
Karaoke Machine. You have now successfully connected the Karaoke Machine to your VCR.
OPERATION
1. After connecting the Karaoke Machine A to your television/VCR, plug the AC adapter into a
nearby wall outlet.
2. Plug the other end of the AC adapter F into the back of the Karaoke Machine.
3. Connect the microphone(s) into one of the four controller ports B on the front of the Karaoke
Machine.
4. Switch the Karaoke Machine on by pressing the power switch on the right hand side of the
machine.
5. The front LED indicator will blink red, indicating power to the machine.
6. Turn on the television/VCR and switch from TV to VIDEO*.
7. If your television has multiple video channels, tune your television until the TAO Music logo
appears on your screen.
8. Press the OPEN button Gon the front of the Karaoke Machine and the CD tray will pop out.
9. Place one of the included video CDs D into the tray and press OPEN again.
10. Press the PLAY button on the microphone C to start the video CD.
11. Make sure you turn on the power switch on the back of the microphone and turn up the
microphone volume on the left hand side of the Karaoke Machine.
* Since each television/VCR set up is different and unique, please refer to your television or VCR
users manual.
Switching from TV to VIDEO on a television:
One of the following options may apply to your set up:
Press TV/VIDEO on the front of the television
Press TV/VIDEO or INPUT button on the remote control
Press SOURCE on the remote control, choose INPUT, select VIDEO
Press DISPLAY on the remote control, choose INPUT, select VIDEO
Press AV on the remote control
Switching from TV to VIDEO on a VCR:
One of the following options may apply to your set up:
Press AUX, LINE or VIDEO channel below channel 2 on the VCR
Press INPUT button on the remote control
Press MENU on the remote control, choose SOURCE, switch to AUX or LINE.

TROUBLESHOOTING
If you have problems connecting the Karaoke Machine to your television or VCR ….
…. Refer to your television/VCR manual
If you can’t hear yourself when the CD is playing ….
…. Make sure that your Karaoke Machine microphone is switched on using the ON/OFF switch on
the back of the microphone. Adjust the microphone volume found on the left-hand side of the
Karaoke Machine. By turning the knob towards yourself you will increase the microphone volume.
If you get a lot of feedback …..
…. Your Karaoke Machine microphone has specially designed to amplify your voice and all other
surroundings. You may be standing too close to your television’s speakers or to another home
