13. Installation

1. ChooseasuitablelocationforyourMirrorBallStand&SpotlightSet,bearinginmind
thefollowing:
•Theweightoftheproduct–seeSpecification
•Theneedfor2wallelectricalsockets
•Thelengthofthecableoneachadapter–seeSpecification
•Thesearevisualproductsandshouldbeoutofreach
•Thecomponentsshouldbeonaflat,stablesurfacefreeofobstacles
2. Connectthe12Vmainsadapterthatispackedwiththemirrorballstandtothe
mirrorballstand.




3. Connecttheother12Vmainsadapterthatispackedwiththespotlighttothemini
spotlight.
4. Addafiltertotheminispotlightifaparticularcolourisrequired.Thefilterslides
intotheslotatthefrontofthespotlight.Usethesmalltaboneachfiltertohelppull
andpushtheseinandoutofplace.
5. Adjusttheangleoftheintegralstandoftheminispotlightasrequired.
6. Theminispotlightmaybebolteddowntoashelforaceiling.Thereisapre‐drilled
holdinthestand(bracket)thatis1cmdiameter.Nofixingisincludedasthiswill
dependontheconstructionofyourshelf/ceiling.
7. Positiontheminispotlightsoitpointsatthemirrorball.Experimentwiththe
distancebetweentheminispotlightandthemirrorballtillthedesiredeffectis
obtained.
8. Pluginbothadapters.
9. Switchonthemirrorballstand(thereisanON/OFFswitchontherimofthebase,
neartothesocketfortheadapter).

14. CareandMaintenance

Tochangethelampintheminispotlight:
•Unplug
•Removethesmallscrewatthetopofthespotlightandthescrewatthebottomof
thespotlight
•Gentlyremovethedomepiecefromthebackofthespotlight
•Gentlyreleasethetwospringsthatholdthelampinplaceandgentlypullthelamp
upwardstoreleasethetwopinsfromthetwosmallholesofthelampholder.
•Replacewithanewlampofthesamespecification.
•Alignthescrewholesofthedomewiththespotlightandreplacethescrewsto
securethedomebackinposition.




•Storeinaclean,dryplacewhennotinuse.
•Keepallcomponentsfreeofdustanddebrisforoptimaloperation.
•Onceeventuallyexhausted,disposeofthisproductappropriatelyandresponsibly.
•Pleaselabeleachadaptersoyouknowwhichadapterbelongswithwhich
component.Itdoesnotmatterifyouusetheminispotlightadapterwiththemirror
ballstandandvice‐versa,butitisadvisabletolabelalladaptersshouldtheybecome
confusedwithadaptersforotherproductswithdifferentinputs/outputsbyaccident.
15. Troubleshooting

Intheunlikelyeventofproductfailure,pleasecheckthefollowing:

Problem:Themirrorballdoesnotturn
•CheckthattheadapterispluggedinandthattheON/OFFbuttonissettoON
•Checkthemirrorballisproperlysetintothemirrorballstand(straightnotatanangle)

Problem:Theminispotlightdoesnotwork
•Checkthattheadapterispluggedinandreplacethelampasnecessary

