About Your Dishwasher
Yourdishwashercleansby sprayinga mixtureof hot,cleanwateranddetergentagainstthe soiled
surfacesofyourdishesand tableware.Eachcyclestartswith a pre-drain.Next,the dishwasherfillswith
waterto a levelslightlyabovethe heatingelement.Thiswater isconstantlypumpedthroughthe rotating
sprayarmand centerwashtowerand sprayedontothe dishes.Soiledwater ispumpedout and replaced
withcleanwater duringa cycle.The numberofwaterfillsdependsuponthe cyclebeingused.

(60%). Youcancheckthetemperatureof hotwateratyoursink
witha candyor meatthermometer.Turnonthefaucetnearestthe
dishwasher.Letthewater rununtilit isas hotas possible,then
insertthethermometerintothestreamofwater.Ifthethermometer
readingisbelow14o”F,havea qualifiedtechnicianraiseyourwater
thermostatsetting.
WaterPressure
Waterpressureshouldbe between15and 120poundspersquare
inch.To determineifyou haveenoughwater pressure,puta %
galloncontainerunderthefullyopenedhotwaterfaucetnearestthe
dishwasher-it shouldbefullin lessthan 14seconds.Besurethat
allotherfaucetsareshutoffduringthistest. I

l Motorsoundswill be heardbeforewaterentersthe tub.
COLOREDALUMINUM,CASTIRONANDBONEHANDLEDITEMS,HAND-PAINTEDCHINA,WOODEN,PLASTIC,AND
