Where Performance Counts
Consider the RX-1052’s basic capabilities for starters. Here, Balanced Design results in superior performance indeed. We rate
power output ver y conservatively at 100 watts RMS per channel. But there are important differences between this rating and ones
you may see from other manufacturers. That’s because the RX-1052 features a rock-solid power supply built around an oversized
custom-manufactured toroidal transformer coupled to high quality storage capacitors. Eight discrete, high current output transis-
tors insure uncompromising reproduction of the most difficult sources, even when the RX-1052 is used with inefficient speakers
in large rooms. Connecting those speakers is easy thanks to high quality, four-way binding posts. And switching between speaker
pairs is even easier thanks to remote selection. For the vinyl aficionado – or just folks who continue to enjoy a substantial record
collection – the RX-1052 features a high quality phono preamplifier optimized for moving magnet cartridges.

For those who don’t desire the multiple speaker boxes required for surround sound, the RX-1052 is the per fect complement to a
new flat-panel TV and video sources like a DVD player or satellite box. Four composite video inputs, a monitor output, and video
switching makes integrating your existing audio gear with the newest video components surprisingly easy.
Beyond A Single Room
The RX-1052 can be the multi-room/multi-source heart of a “whole house” audio/video system! When used with six channels of
external amplification – either three stereo amps or an all-in-one six channel model like Rotel’s RMB-1066 – the RX-1052 lets you
direct up to eight audio or A/V sources to as many as four different locales. You maintain fully independent source selection, power
on/off, and volume adjustment for each zone! And if you want to “get down and party,” the RX-1052’s “Party Mode” lets you do
just that by piping the same source throughout your home. The RX-1052 includes four independent composite video outputs, too,
so you can watch what you want where you want to watch it. Independent IR (infrared) links give you source control from any room
while four separate 12 volt “trigger” circuits energize just those system components you need for maximum enjoyment – and
maximum energy conservation.
