2. Load 2x AAbatteries into the battery chamber, following
the polarity indications.
3. Close theBattery cover.
2 pcs ofAAalkaline / Ni-MHbatteries are strongly
recommended for normaloperation.
Batteries may losepower if keptinside the camera for a long
time without using.Please remove thebatteries while the
camera is notin use.
Do not usemanganese batteries since they cannot supply
sufficient power tosupport the camera'soperation.
Batteries may notwork normally under0 C or over 40 C .
The below symbolson the TFTLCD Monitor arethe indication
of the batterystatus.
( ):Battery power is full.
( ):Battery power is half drained. Have new batteries ready.
( ):Battery power is drained. Replace the batteries you are
using now.

1.Power off thecamera.
2.Open the BatteryCover.
3.Insert the SDcard into thecard slot andpress it down
until a click sound happens. (Press down the inserted
SD card again to get it out once a click sound happens.)
4.Close the BatteryCover.

The image(s) can bestored either in built-inflash memory
or in memorycard. Only if the memory card is inserted, the
images willbe stored in the memory card rather than the
built-in flash memory.On the other hand, the images will be
stored in the built-in flashmemory only if a memory card is
not inserted.
1. Press downthe POWER buttonto turn onthe camera.
2. Set theMode Switch atImage Shooting Mode( ) forstill image orMovie Clip Mode ( ) for video recording.
NOTE: Hold your camera with your hand and position a subject in the center of the frame to focus on.
3. With theTELE/WIDE Button, youmay have 2.8Xoptica zoom and5.0X digital zoomfor zooming inand out.
4. If thesubject you aregoing to shootis ranged from6 cm to80 cm, pressingdown MACRO buttonto change thefocus range.
5. Press andhold the shutterbutton halfway down.
NOTE: 1. When the color of the focus frame turns from white to red, it means the auto focus of this camera is not fixed.
2. When thecolor of thefocus frame turnsfrom white togreen, it means the auto focusof this camerais fixed.
6. Press theshutter button fullydown to capturean image.
7. The LEDIndicator starts blinkingright after theShutter Button isreleased. Once the LED Indicator stops blinking, you are
ready to takeanother shot.
8. Or youcan set ModeSwitch at PlaybackMode ( )to view theimages or movieclips you justtook.
