WoBLR II
Thank you for choosing the WoBLR II, 2nd generation, remote RV Level from RV Intelligence. The WoBLR
II connects to the smartRV App (NOTE: this is a change from the 1st generation devices which connect to
the WoBLR App) is designed to operate from both Android and Apple products. Please note that the
Android operating system is open source, and each phone has its own custom version, almost all Android
phones work perfectly fine, but there is a very small but real possibility of stability issues when using
Android based phones. If you have issues using our app, please make sure your phone’s software is up to
date. Additionally, be aware that if your provider issues a software update, there can be short term
issues as they resolve concerns. If the problem persists please contact us at support@rviqproducts.com
and include any data you can about your phone, brand, model number and if you are able the software
version numbers. We constantly evaluate and update our apps; an issue today may be resolved
tomorrow with your help.

Section 1: Getting Started Guide
RV Intelligence thanks you for your purchase of the World's Best Level for RVs "The WoBLR II", we hope
you have many happy camping experiences, with a quickly and easily leveled trailer. Following the quick
start guide, you will be leveling in minutes. Our new features include longer battery life, longer operating
range, selectable power levels to choose more battery life, user selectable automatic deep sleep, to
prevent needless battery life reduction on device data retention, it remembers all its data for you. Best
of all, the new user interface TALKs to you, you are totally free to level your RV, just listen to the app and
when it says level, you are!
The WoBLR II can be mounted flat or on any wall in your RV,
except a wall that is not square to the frame of the RV. The
default orientation of the WoBLR II is as shown at left, flat on a
surface with the wide end pointing forward. The unit arrives
uncalibrated, it must be calibrated when your trailer is level, so
that it can learn that measurement and store it. To set up the
WoBLR II there are a few simple steps:
1. Make sure that your RV is very level
2. Mount the WoBLR II in your RV
3. Download the smartRV app for your device
4. Connect to the WoBLR II with the smartRV app
5. Set the correct orientation of the mounted unit in the smartRV app
6. Select Calibrate on the options page
7. You should see the display with the ball in the center, and the app saying “level”
Now that the WoBLR II is mounted, oriented and calibrated, it will provide years of easy and reliable
leveling. Your battery will last approximately one year, if you leave the WoBLR II turned on and ready to
level at all times, with the factory default settings. To increase battery life you can: 1. Remember to turn
off your WoBLR II using the main power switch as part of your RV shutdown procedure, 2. Change the
reconnection speed setting, the slowest setting will make the battery last up to 3+ years, 3. Turn on the
“Automatically Shutdown Device” feature which will place the WoBLR II in a deep sleep state, after the
selected days, once you have disconnected from the device. These features are detailed in the section
called “WoBLR II user selectable features”.
Section 2: The smartRV App
The smartRV app is the app used to connect, configure and operate the WoBLR II, the smartRV app can
also connect to, configure and control our smartRVcontrols remote control modules for awnings, slides,
jacks and lights. We have more products in development that will also use the smartRV app, we hope
you enjoy our other products also.
Search for smartRV (NOTE the case) application on Apple iTunes or Google Play, Download the smartRV
Application. Install the application and start it.

Turn on your WoBLR II, then touch the connection “ADD DEVICE” label in the upper right-hand side of
the app. The app will begin searching for compatible devices, it can find products other than WoBLR IIs,
so do not be surprised. The words “WoBLR II A1:B2” will appear on the screen, the letters A, B and
number 1,2 are representative, the four characters are the last four elements of the unit's very unique
name, in the example of this document, the name is WoBLR II DB:DA. The characters can range from 0 to
9 or A to F.
The search will result in the WoBLR II DB:DA (example) being shown in the below left image. Simply
touching this name will result in the WoBLR II being connected and bonded to your phone, as seen in the
middle image, that device connection bar will remain and be the way you connect to the WoBLR II in the
future. Touching the connection bar will cause the app to search for and connect to your WoBLR, which
will immediately begin show level information right away.

IF YOU ARE NOT ORIENTED AND CALIBRATED THIS DATA WILL BE WRONG.
Section 3: Mounting, Orienting and Calibrating
Mounting
The WoBLR comes with a magnetic holding base, and three screws to mount it to a cabinet, wall, door
and any other surface in your RV. You can place your WoBLR in an RVs external storage lockers, If you do
decide to place your WoBLR II in a storage area, please ensure that the WoBLR II is:
You can mount your WoBLR anywhere you want in your RV, on any surface that is square (or plum as a
builder would say) to the RVs frame. The WoBLR can be mounted on a Wall or flat Surface, on the Wall it
must be mounted so that the wide end points up, said another way, so that the words are not upside
down.
The only restrictions we have for mounting the WoBLR is to mount it true, not at an odd angle or angled
wall. Below are examples of good and bad angles of mounting.
★NOT IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT
★NOT EXPOSED TO WEATHER
★NOT EXPOSED TO WASH WATER

Orienting
Now that the WoBLR II is mounted, you must select the correct orientation to allow the unit to correctly
display level data. In the upper right corner of the app screen is a wheel icon, touching that will bring up
the SETUP page, the second bar on the SETUP page is the MOUNTED ORIENTATION bar, touching that
bar brings up the orientation selection list. There are eight (8) selections to choose from, four (4) are for
lying flat on a surface, the direction is the way the wide end of the WoBLR II is facing, for the four (4) wall
mounting, the direction is the wall the WoBLR II is mounted on, hence DRIVER WALL is the wall on the
driver side of the RV, the left wall if you are facing forward.
No angled Interior walls

Calibrating
Now that the WoBLR II is mounted, and is oriented, you must now calibrate the unit. It is a simple
process, but it will only remember the level that you show it. Your RV must be level when the WoBLR II is
calibrated, then it will correctly return to that “zero” every time. The unit may be calibrated at any time.
Navigate to the SETUP page by touching the wheel icon on the main page, then touch the bar RESET RV
NOW SITTING LEVEL, which brings up the pop up question box, select “Set As Level” and then touch
“Back” to return to the main screen, your WoBLR II will then show a perfect (0.0,0.0) degrees, and state
“You are level”, the display will fluctuate with a small amount of error, +/- 0.1, this value is not significant
in the measure of level, and shows you that the WoBLR is active and correctly displaying, if the fact that
the value is moving by the small amount.

Section 4: User Selectable Features
RV Specific Information
The smartRV app allows the user to input specific data about their RV to allow the WoBLR II and smartRV
app to display very accurate information about the amount of distance the user must adjust the RV on
that axis to bring it into level. Selecting the SETUP page from the main screen by touching the wheel icon,
then selecting the “CAMPER TYPE SETUP” bar, brings up the data input popup. Select your style of
camper from the dropdown list, and press OK. Then Enter the measurements requested. Now when you
return to the main screen you will see that the display now shows you the offset in inches.
Setting a PIN
The PIN code for the WoBLR II is more of a safety lock,
than a true PIN, it simply does not allow any settings to be
changed, or for the level to be calibrated, unless the PIN is
sent first, to unlock. Also, if someone else connects to
your WoBLR II, if they do not have the PIN, they can
monitor it, but they cannot change anything. The default
is “No Pin Set”, the PIN can be any four (4) characters or
letters, Upper or lower case.

User Selectable Adjustments
●Reconnect Speed
●Shutdown Days
●Leveling Precision
●Leveling Technique
The WoBLR II has some options for you to select to customize your experience and get your best
value from our product.
The Reconnect Speed is the amount of time that the
unit takes to recognize that you want to connect with
it, and the amount of time it takes to actually connect.
The tradeoff is battery life (with the power switch left
on), the more responsive the shorter the battery life.
The default is FAST, which gives a battery life of
approximately one (1) year of constant on time.
Whereas SLOWEST, LESS BATTERY give three (3) years
of battery life, but reconnection times can be as long
as 30 seconds, be patient!

RVI02WB.R080222 https://www.rv-intelligence.com/support/ 9
AUTOMATICALLY SHUTDOWN DEVICE does exactly
that, once you disconnect, the unit starts counting days.
After the number of days you select, the WoBLR II
enters a power shutdown mode and the WoBLR II
reduces power consumption so low that for all practical
purposes it is turned off.
**It does require a power cycle of the main power
switch to be used again**
The value to you is you will still have a good battery to
level your RV with. If you normally camp for a week and
might need to have the WoBLR II ready to go at any
time for setup or breakdown, by selecting 8 days,
ensures that after you last use if you intentionally or
accidentally do not turn off the power switch, the unit
will enter shutdown on its own after 8 days, saving the
battery for your next camping adventure.
LEVELING TECHNIQUE was a topic of some team debate.
What you are selecting is which axis to level first, nose or
side to side. It is merely a preference you can change at
any time. Since the smartRV app speaks to you, you
would not want it saying two things at once!
LEVELING PRECISION allows the tradeoff between faster
leveling and more accurate leveling. The selection is how
accurately you would like the unit to expect to be at
ZERO.

AUDIO ANNOUNCEMENTS
The smartRV app allows the user to select to hear a voice
prompt of which direction to adjust the current axis of
focus, you may hear “RAISE NOSE” or “RAISE DRIVER”,
when that axis is level you will hear “LEVEL”. Touching the
word “VOICE” on the app main screen will toggle on and
off voice prompts.
BATTERY VALUE
The smartRV app shows the actual battery voltage at the
bottom center of the screen in VOLTS, The standard
CR2032 battery used has a useful battery voltage range
of 2.0V to 3.6V. A voltage of less than 2.1 volts is the
minimum safe operating voltage. If the battery reports
2.1V or less, please replace the battery with a CR2032
coin cell immediately. A second battery test is the RED
led on the module. On a power cycle it will blink at a one
second rate, 5 flashes is a full battery, 1 flash is a battery
at minimum that needs replacing.
Happy Leveling from RV Intelligence!
